Dr. Roma Helen Franzia

Don’t ask the wrong question or she’ll drop you as a patient! After reading good things on a facebook group about Dr. Franzia I had high hopes for her practice. However, my first experience was a sick visit with her fill in Dr Campbell. We waited 2hrs! Thankfully Dr. Franzia’s office setup is wonderful and the exam rooms look like mini playrooms with lots of toys and books. I would have left but with it being the first time my kids were enjoying the very fun exam rooms with lots of toys to play with and things to look at. However, not once during the 2hr wait did I ever get an update from anyone. I mentioned my frustration afterwards to the office staff, but they just shrugged and said yes “he’s slow.” Next was a wellness check up for my 6yo daughter. We were on-time but still waited 1hr for Dr. Franzia. I understand doctors get backed up and I know Dr.Franzia doesn't want to rush time with her patients, but there does need to be a limit in order to be respectful to all of the other patients scheduled that day. I generally don’t mind waiting a little longer, but still nobody ever came in to let us know she was running behind or any update at all. This time my kids noticed the wait. A few days later the office called and asked me to reschedule my son’s wellness check up because they had too many sick appts. We had to reschedule for 3 months later! Here’s where my question came up. On that call with someone from the office I said, “I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask, but I’m curious if anyone has ever gotten reimbursed for a sick visit copay for having waited 2 hours for Dr Campbell?” The receptionist said, "I don't know but I will ask Dr. Franzia.” Simple question that only needed a simple answer of “yes or no”. BUT, instead this happened... A few days later a different receptionist calls to say, “Dr Franzia doesn’t think your family is a good fit for her practice.” What?! I was shocked. I said, "I was just asking a question, I didn’t think it could hurt to ask a question?" She said, “Oh, it was a question? Ok I will let her know that.” Perhaps the first receptionist stated I wanted a refund instead of asking a question, I will never know. A few days later I received a certified letter stating, “I regret to inform you that I will no longer be able to provide medical care to your children.” Is this for real?! My heart was racing… What the heck! This is ridiculous! The next week I called twice and spoke to the receptionist asking to speak to Dr Franzia. They said they would let her know I called. No response. Week 2, I then emailed her. Again, no response. Week 3, my husband called and spoke with a receptionist to again clearly share the situation and ask for Dr. Franzia to contact me. Receptionist said they will let her know. STILL no return call… no return email… nothing. I have never experienced anything like this before. How a simple, non confrontational question, turns into immediately getting “cancelled” with no discussion as to why. Dr. Franzia was extremely unprofessional in how she handled this. I have no idea what she was thinking because she never responded to me. To not even return a phone call or simply return an email is extremely childish and unprofessional. Dr. Franzia might be in high demand at the moment but if she keeps this up she’ll be losing more patients, not just the ones she cancels. I strongly caution all current and potential future patients to consider other options. She has no problem permanently removing you the following day and seems as though even her staff is unhelpful if you ever have any issues as well. I am very disappointed. This did not need to become so extreme. I wish I could share her side of the story, but like I said, she never responded after several attempts to speak with her. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Dr. Franzia’s practice.

My children have been patients of Dr Roma for 10 years. We have experienced the whole spectrum of medical issues-from the annual well-visit to the life threatening brain hemorrhage. Dr Roma has been by our side through all of it. Late night phone calls to reassure us when we faced the unthinkable and weekend appointments to manage yet another case of strep throat. She is the best and we are so grateful to her for her commitment to our kids’ well being.

I’m disappointed in the lack of call back and urgency to respond by the doctor on numerous occasions. I started here with my twins as babies and I did truly love the time spent with the doctor. However, I’ve hit my limit with not getting any medical advice or call backs in a timely manner from this practice. I feel like a bad Mom for taking them here because my kids are sick/in pain and I have nobody guiding me on what to do. They send you to the “symptom” checker online but there’s no messaging system, nurse call back line, etc. The front desk lady today essentially told me sick children have taken priority over my 10 month old daughter’s issues. It was very off putting especially since this is how I’ve felt for a while, not priority or taken seriously. We will be moving pediatricians and it’s unfortunate because I personally liked the interaction with the doctor. I did not like the care, urgency, professionalism or system in place to take care of my babies day to day.

I am delighted to provide a review of Dr. Roma Franzia, a truly exceptional pediatrician. Dr. Franzia has been a Godsend to our family, providing attentive and caring medical care that has exceeded our expectations. One of the things we love about Dr. Franzia is her colorful and welcoming office, which immediately puts children at ease. She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and supported during their visit. Dr. Franzia is not only an excellent physician, but also an encouraging and extremely supportive caregiver. She takes the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and offer helpful guidance that has improved our children's health and well being. Moreover, her staff and nurses are the kindest and most professional we have ever encountered in a pediatrician's office. They are always available to assist us and provide excellent care and support for our children. Overall, we cannot recommend Dr. Roma Franzia enough. She is everything you hope for in a pediatrician, and we are grateful for the wonderful care she has provided to our family.

By far one of the most disrespectful pediatricians I have ever come across. God forbid your child has a medical issue past 5:00 pm. Dr. Franzia personally called me to tell me she was “frustrated and overwhelmed” with me calling her after hours. Even when I would call, she would take hours to call back and give me attitude for it. Also, for a “pediatrician” she disrespected my three year old and one year old and spoke negatively about them. She always rushed through their appointments and had a negative attitude. Anytime I had a question, she would just give me pamphlets directing me to other people. I clearly remember one time I asked her advice on potty training and she told me to enroll my daughter in daycare and they’ll just handle it there. I could not recommend and endorse Dr. Franzia any higher as a pediatrician for your children. She cared for both of our now-grown daughters since birth and currently cares for for our three grandchildren. I trust her implicitly. Not only is she an extremely talented and deeply knowledgable physician, she is also a kind, empathetic and wonderful human being. She connects with children and parents in the most beautiful way, and her office is filled with love. She is everything you hope for in a children's family doctor.

After taking my newborn to a few different pediatricians in the first 2 months of life, getting the eye roll, the judgement for asking questions (you know… because I’m a new mom), I finally stumbled upon Dr. Roma Franzia. To say she is a gift from god doesn't even do her justice. Talk about a doctor who goes above and beyond. From day one Dr. Franzia has taken all the time needed to ensure I left every appointment with all my questions answered, with all the knowledge I need to continue to guide my child in the right direction. She has never judged me for a question or concern. Over the summer we went out of the country for a few weeks, while out my daughter developed a very bad all over body skin rash. I was able to send Dr. Franzia and her team photos and videos of everything, got advice on what to do immediately and at what point would it need immediate medical attention vs. waiting till we got back in town for Franzia to take a look. Dr. Roma Franzia is the best pediatrician you will EVER find. She is kind, patient, and treats every child as if it’s one of her own. She listens, understands, and makes you feel as your child is her most important patient and dedicates as much time as you need (doesn’t rush you or judge). She goes above and beyond to educate herself on everything related to the healthy development of a child (and teaches us so much with every visit). She does not just stick to the basics but truly amazes me as to how knowledgeable, passionate, and well read she is. Just recently, we had our son in a walker for approximately 3 weeks, and the recent appointment her trained eye noticed that. He was on his tip toe at his wellness exam, and Dr Franzi immediately noticed that was an effect if the walker and to limit walker time so as not to weaken his calves/foot posture. Dr Franzia also has the best product recommendations. We used Kabrita formula and our baby has thrived and loved it! And recently provided us with samples of products that help prevent food allergies in babies. As new parents she even provided us with little a “Don’t Panic Booklet” with all the common issues and treatments for babies. It’s been so helpful! We once had a scare after-hours where our son accidentally ate honey and of course her wonderful team was there to assist us. What more could we ask for? We know our son is in the best hands. I recommended Dr Franzia to another new mom, who cried after her first visit as she couldn’t believe what a lovely and supportive doctor she was for her newborn sick child. Highly recommend and very grateful for Dr Franzia and her team. Also, I think if our son Jacob could talk he would say HE LOVES going to her office - from the moment you walk into the elevator and in every room the toys and decor make this a lovely experience for every child. Dr. Roma Franzia and her practice are unmatched. Dr. Franzia is a highly intelligent, extremely caring, professional physician that feels more like family. She always has my daughter's best interest at heart and even after moving an hour away from the practice, I would not choose another physician. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Franzia & Dr. Maddie for my baby girl. They are so knowledgeable, sweet, and genuinely caring. Highly, highly recommend.

We had been looking for an intimate office setting where we knew the kids would see the same Dr each time. Dr Franzia was super impressive. She has been taking care of my three children for over 5 years. She especially wonderful with my teen and pre- team. She really spends the time with each child and is very easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, relatable snd my girls absolutely love her. We also VERY VERY impressed by Dr Maddie as she did a follow up call with my teenage daughter about things. Also super relatable, kind, compassionate and THOROUGH!! For all of you that are look for prob one of the last “mom n pop” type practiced around we all HIGHLY it recommend Dr Franzia and Dr Maddie. Great doctor, great staff and a kids oriented doctor's office that every kid can only dream of.

A TRUE DOCTOR. not a robot. In a world where many doctors are guided by insurance policies, so called evidence based practice, and their own ego, Dr. Franzia is guided by her real medical knowledge and sincere oath to treat her patients as the individuals they are rather than by following flawed medical algorithms. She truly takes her time to LISTEN to parents. You know this because she will give you ample time to explain things, she doesn’t cut you off and say things like, “that has no basis,” or “ you’re just a nervous mother.” Which I’ve gotten from other pediatricians and doctors (and I’ve seen many due to the my child’s many health complications). Instead, she asks relevant questions and will even call you after your appointments or just whenever if she feels something is pertinent to the health of your child. She will call you personally with lab results as they come if she knows it is very important in determining something. I never had a doctor do that for me or my child. I’m soooooo grateful that I’ve found dr. Franzia. A true doctor is someone who is open to learning and continually seeks knowledge within their realm and outside their realm. She is someone who recognizes that there are knowledge gaps in each thought of school and seeks to search for answers on her own time, not just let information be fed to her. If you want someone who will advocate for your child, work with you as an equal, and empower you to be a better parent, look no further. Dr. Franzia is a true angel. On top of all that, her office is such a pleasant place to be. It is not a drab office with a few magazines for parents and a few old toys for kids. Instead, it is a warm and inviting environment for both parents and children! It touches up on all your senses when you get there. For children, there are endless amount of things to play with (toys, puzzles, rocking horse, scoot cars, dolls,big fish tank with beautiful fishes). As a college student living away from home, I can always count on Dr. Franzia to chat with me over the phone about any concern I have regarding my health. I have been seeing Dr. Franzia since I was around 6-7 years old, and she continues to give immaculate care through my college years. She gives the best advice for how to keep healthy and well while living a busy and stressful life at college, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is a wonderful doctor and I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else as much as I trust her with my medical care, both when at home and as a student living away from home. Our family has been patients of Dr. Roma for nearly 10 years. The office environment is a paradise of a child's imagination filled with beautiful murals, children's artwork and photos of the families she has cared for over the years which sets everyone at ease rather than feeling like you are in a bland sterile office. Over the last 10 years, we have dealt with countless numbers of cold and flu seasons, a genetic blood disorder, and chronic allergies. Dr. Roma has been there for us through it all; guiding us with the utmost in personal care and attention. She even pierced our Daughter's ears making it a safe and fun experience rather than a scary and questionable experience at the mall. She has not only cared for my children she has also cared for me as a mother who many times puts her children's health before her own. Dr Franzia has been our pediatrician for 19 years... and we keep going... she is very helpful and always a great listener. Her office is warm and my kids have adored it for many years. Her hours are convenient and we love that she knows the kids so well.

Dr. Roma Franzia is the best pediatrician ever! So caring about my kids and family as a whole, always available, and trustworthy. Being away from family, in a different country she is the person I go to regarding my kids and she always makes me feel I am not alone. What I mostly like about her is that she is a doctor with a lot of knowledge but her advices and recommendations aren't far from being a mom as well. We are very lucky to have found her. It's been 5 years now since my first daughter had her first febrile seizure and did not feel had the right doctor at that time , as loving and professional as I needed to be to calm down my fears. Well, it seems like from that medical issue, my husband and I went on different pediatricians interviews and that's how we found her and stick to her even since. We love Dr. Roma Franzia and we feel much blessed to have found her.

My four children have been seeing Dr Franzia since moving to the area in 2015. She is kind, caring, attentive and most importantly, available. But what makes her so special is that she can speak to each of my children with compassion and respect and makes a point of knowing each of their different personalities. She is as comfortable talking and treating my 5 year old daughter as she is with my 12 year old son. They adore her and so do I! If one of the kids gets sick and passes it to the siblings, I call Dr Franzia and she will just call in a prescription-she understands that I don't want to bring all 4 children in for separate appointments! That level of service shows she truly understands what it's like to be a busy mom. But my favorite thing about her is she makes me feel confident about my parenting choices. She lets me trust my maternal instincts and really listens to me. That is invaluable. Thank you Dr Franzia for keeping my children healthy; physically and emotionally.

Dr Roma is the very best! She is so knowledgeable and the results are very natural. I love when I get to see her... I leave looking like a better version of myself! The entire office treats you like family and they all have your best interest at heart! There is no place like Face Forward.

Dr Roma is the best! She is there when my kids (and I) need her. She is thoughtful, reliable, smart and pragmatic. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful physician for my kids.

Dr. Franzia is the best! My son just began his freshman year at CSU and she has been his pediatrician since he was 6 months old. As a new mom almost 19 years ago I looked at multiple practices and once I met Dr. Franzia, the rest is history. I started at a practice that had many doctors and did not like that we would see someone new at every visit. There is so much to be said for a caring pediatrician that knows your child and takes the steps of health care with you. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Franzia is amazing! She always takes time to listen and understand me and my child. Plus she is on top of all things related to kids and their well-being. We couldn’t be in better hands!

First Child everything needs to feel "right" our first pediatrician didn't give us that feeling. 5 months later we found Dr. Franzia our forever Pediatrician.

If you do not wish to play Russian Roulette with your child's life ... Stay AWAY!

We did our research before moving from our old peditrician at 3 months. Her positive reviews do not do her justice. She is amazing from the first time we met her we know we had our forever doctor. She made us feel like family and family look out for each other. Her office and staff are warm and inviting. Our daughter is 8 months now and recently had a high temperature. I called her at 1AM and guess what ? Dr. Franzia picked up on the 2nd ring. It wasn't a calling service it wasn't a automated message , it was her live and direct. Being first time parents it is so important to have this level of service. I hardly write reviews but Dr. Franzia is something special I highly recommend her. I went to Dr. Franzia after a bad experience with my first born pediatrician. Dr. Franzia was so warm and welcoming when we first met. She gave me the piece of mind every first time parent is seeking when their little one is sick. She listens attentively to your concerns without rushing you out of her office as most doctors do. And I have truly appreciated when she has called a couple of days after seeing her just to check on progress. Dr. Franzia truly cares about the well-being of her patients and goes above and beyond to ensure that. When my second child was born, I did not hesitate to take her for her initial checkup. I Have 2 daughters with special needs so finding a good pediatrician was very important to me. Dr. Roma Franzia has been amazing. She obviously cares very much for my daughters and remembers everything about their past (very extensive) medical history. She responds immediately to calls and has gone out of her way many times to get them in when they are sick. She even kept in touch with me regularly when my daughter had a medical emergency out of the country. She is an amazing doctor and I am so glad I was able to find her. We've seen Dr. Franzia for the last 5 years since moving to Winnetka. She is an exemplarily physician and all that you would look for in a pediatrician. She is knowledgeable and supportive with a warm, compassionate, patient nature. As a mother of three very active little boys, she's cared for us through breaks, sprains, illnesses and stress. As well, all of her referrals have offered amazing care (ophthalmologists, endocrinologist, pyschologists). She's consistently available for appointments

I took my son for his 6/7 month old physical. She performed a pseudo-surgery on my son WITHOUT our permission. The procedure caused him immense pain and is deemed medically unnecessary. As such, we are in the process of obtaining legal representation against her. In addition, she does not understand proper dosages. In fact, she informed us that > 5 milliliters of baby Motrin is alright for a baby that weighs < 20 LBS. Please stay away from her. I took my son for his 6/7 month old physical. Dr. Roma Franzia has been our pediatrician for over 14 years. She has gotten us through many difficult times. She is so knowledgeable, supportive, caring and always makes herself available for us in times of crisis. We are truly blessed to know Dr. Franzia and to be under her care.

After the retirement of our long time pediatrician (who had also been mine as a child), I was faced with the daunting task of finding a new practice. I adored our previous doctor who knew my girls background without checking a single note. My kids are frequent visitors so it was essential to find a doctor who I could easily work with in their health needs and who understood us as individuals. I did not want a large group where each week I might end up with a different doctor in the practice. I wanted someone that knew us. I interviewed Dr Roma and was impressed, and from the moment my kids walked through her doors, there was excitement about exploring all the various nooks and crannies of toys and play areas! They loved every detail but especially the little fairy door at the base of the office desk! They are always excited to see Dr Roma and feel safe and comfortable there, which is a major concern with them. In just the past year and a half, we have gotten to know Roma extremely well (frequent flyer miles racked up from so many visits!) but best of all -Roma knows us! She knows the history of each daughter and the needs that child has, and she also knows how infections play out in their unique bodies. Needing to be more aggressive in some cases to help her get well and also where to let it run it's course. Dr Roma just knows each child very well in her practice- it amazes me that someone can run a busy solo practice but still remember the little details of an individual child! I never thought I would find another pediatrician as great as our prior one (who retired at 78!) but I'm happy to say I have. My prayer is that one day my children can take their children to Dr Roma! Dr Franzia has cared for my four children for 6 years. I'm tempted to say she's even cared for me during that same time--not with direct medical attention, but through the depth and quality of attention she's given to our family during that time. As a Doctor, Roma Franzia is an unusual blend of current knowledge and traditional methods. She knows all current medical practices and issues, but doesn't always buy into every fad. As your children grow, you'll know the fads I mean. She is such a substantial care provider. With so many children, I've been stumped more than once by symptoms they've presented. Dr. Franzia has nailed it every time. My 2 year old son once started developing hives every time he played outside in the chilly weather. After sitting in her office for 5 minutes, however, she knew immediately that he was experiencing a post-viral reaction, activating histamines in his body--not when cold but when he warmed up from running around! She calmed me immediately with her certainty, she treated him, and he's of course fine. That's another invaluable component of the experience with Dr. Franzia--the calm. Dr. Franzia is a confident, completely capable Dr., but she also respects all of the cares, concerns and intuitive decisions of the parent. Discovering Dr. Franzia has been the best gift a first time parent could ever ask for! As first timers we didn't know what to look for in a pediatrician. After a horrible first 6 months with a different doctor, my mom (who goes to the partner office, Face Forward Medical Spa) suggested we go meet with Dr. Franzia--and 1 1/2 years later we adore her and continue to recommend Dr. Franzia to all of our friends. There are a million reasons why she is amazing but here are three you should know: 1. Her office is like sophisticated children's museum: Stepping off the elevator you are immersed into a gorgeous and whimsical space, purposefully designed to calm and inspire children. Each room features an imaginative themed environment, layered with stimulating activities. As designer of children environments myself, I can't help but appreciate every little detail and thought included in the space. 2. She will know YOU: Over the past year and a half, we have developed a relationship with Dr. Franzia. She knows our names, knows our history, I can call her (and only her - not a call service) on her cell phone at ANY TIME and she will answer on the 2nd ring (even at 2 am!). She will know who I am, know our son, and is ready and able to have a discussion with proactive steps. She is also a working mom and empathizes with our crazy life and all the nuttiness that comes with the role. 3. She is always going above and beyond: It amazes me how she puts her patients and their families first. I never thought this still existed today where you interact with only one doctor. She is the real deal! She is a true problem solver and has personally developed a team of doctors to help us figure out our son's ear issues. She made phone calls to specialty doctors at Lurie Children's Hospital and got us an appointment within 2 days, (when there was a 3 month waiting list) - and she even scheduled a follow-up in person meeting with her and the specialist so they could collaborate and figure out the best care solution for us. She is patient, listens, and spends at least 20 minutes with us at each appointment addressing anything I could ever think of. She will always squeeze you in on the same day if needed! One word to describe Dr. Roma Franzia - LIFESAVER! Honestly though, Dr. Franzia is an amazing doctor. She is knowledgeable, direct, comforting and a problem solver. My husband and I (first time parents) brought our six week old son to Dr. Franzia after going through two different pediatricians that provided no solutions to our problems. I called Dr. Franzia's office and was immediately set up with an appointment to see her. Within minutes of observing my son, she diagnosed him and had him on a plan to get him on the right track. My son has a milk protein allergy and acid reflux. She knew what his issues were and knew exactly how to treat them. Dr. Franzia was so positive and supportive to my family. She saw my son for the first time on a Friday and I called her crying the very next day and she was so supportive, so confident that we were doing the right thing for my son and she gave me the confidence I needed and reassured me to stick with our plan and my son would be better in no time. Dr. Franzia and her staff worked with my insurance company (we all know how annoying insurance companies are) and dealt with them to help us with prescription formula for my son because of his allergy. Our family has been with Dr. Franzia for almost 8 years, since our youngest was born. The benefit of her singular practice is that she takes the time to listen to your problems, gives great advice to new mothers/parents, and has a nurturing persona when interacting with young patients. She always makes herself available if my child is sick and always returns the phone call if I have a specific question. Dr Roma is amazing! She knows each child very well in her practice-it amazes me that someone can run a busy solo practice but still remember the little details of an individual child. My kids are frequent visitors so it was essential to find a doctor who I could easily work with in their health needs and who understood us as individuals. I didn't want to be a number in a lg practice! My kids are always excited to see Dr Roma and feel safe & comfortable there, which is a major concern with them.

Dr Roma is the best pediatrician I have been with. I'm so happy we found her and I refer her to all my friends with kids in the area. Before Dr Roma I was at a larger ped practice where I saw a different doctor every visit. My son who had chronic ear infections wouldnt get great care because every time we went he saw someone new who perscribed him a different anitbiotic and there was no communication between doctors. With Dr Roma, you always get Dr Roma. She encourages moms and dads to trust their instincts and never assumes she knows more about your child than you do. In fact, that's what I like best about her. My first visit with a sick toddler, the first thing she asked me was "what's your instinct, mom?" It was so refreshing. The staff and nurses there are also very friendly and down to earth. I had a billing issue recently with my insurance carrier and her staff have gone above and beyond to help me resolve it. My kids also dont mind getting their ears and throat checked with Dr Roma because she makes it interactive and takes things slow so they dont get scared. That was not the case with my old pediatrician who asked me to hold my son down when he checked his ears. Our children have been patients of Dr. Franzia for 9 years (since birth) and we trust her expertise and appreciate her level of care. She is a compassionate, thorough, proactive, skilled pediatrician who takes time to listen to her patients (and their parents) before deciding upon treatment. Her willingness to think outside the box has afforded the best health care for our children. She treats the child as a "whole" taking into account, mind and body. On multiple occassions, I have had to telephone the office while out of town with a sick child. She has promptly responded and guided us with an action plan. I was a patient of Dr. Franzia's for almost 8 years, and I can say that she is by far the absolute best pediatrician I have ever encountered. I wish she could always be my doctor, but unfortunately I am now too old to continue seeing her. But if you have children and you live in the Chicagoland area, I highly recommend Dr. Franzia as your family pediatrician. Not only is Dr. Franzia a brilliant doctor and diagnostician, she is also extremely kind and compassionate. Dr. Franzia cares about each and every one of her patients, and even when I started college and turned 18 she continued to see me until I found a new doctor. Dr. Roma Franzia sets the standard for what ALL doctors should aspire to. From the moment you enter her office you feel surrounded by warmth and friendly staff. My children and I consider it a treat to go to her office - they actually cheer when we have to go!!. We look forward to going and find ourselves hoping to be kept waiting (which never happens) and don’t want to leave. The attention to detail in her practice is astounding. Beyond the separate sick/well waiting rooms the décor is breathtaking and lush. Each treatment room is themed with gorgeous custom murals that cover all walls & ceilings, giant animal treatment tables, books (for children and adults), toys and child size furniture in all rooms make the children feel at home. Every nook and cranny is filled with something lovely to look at right down to the decorative drains in the sinks! You have to see it to believe it as pictures do not even come close to doing it justice! Dr. Franzia is a mother herself and treats her patients as she would her own children. She holds herself accountable to all her patients and is available round the clock. She has an extreme devotion to her patients. Dr. Franzia was recommended by another doctor when I was beginning the search for a pediatrician when I was pregnant with my first son. A glowing review from that doctor that I had already trusted meant that she was already ahead of the game in my book, then I saw her office- AMAZING. I wish I could live there. Then I met her and that was it, I'd made my choice for our family pediatrician. I trust her, she's helped me through being a nervous new mom, practically holding my hand the whole way. She's helped my eldest son deal with life threatening allergies. Dr. Franzia also truly listens to your concerns as a parent and never makes you feel silly, even when you've consulted "Dr Google" and are sure that your child has Ebola (obviously kidding) she will calm you down while explaining that it's more likely that it's the sniffles, then will proceed to tell you why your child is sick, what to expect as it progresses and how to get your child feeling better.
