Moved and was worried about finding a new doctor after many years but Dr. Garb made me feel like he knew me personally from day one. I love his manner and am so happy my daughter who is a nurse recommended him. Could not be happier with him as my doctor.

Dr. Garb does definitely make you feel like he knows you personally even though he has seen hundreds of patients in his career. Shows a lot of empathy and gave me hope.

Dr. Garb is a kind soul, empathetic and he makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. A friend with many doctorates in psychiatry, lol. He has been my doctor for many years, I highly recommend!

He. is. the. best. He gets right to the heart of your problem. I hold him responsible for saving my marriage. And most days I'm thankful for that- haha.

Wonderful Doctor, I have been using him for years. I won't go to him anymore because his office manager (Karen). She is extremely difficult to deal with and they are always charging you for missed appointments that they had to re-schedule because Dr. Garb could not make the appointment. Dr. Garb needs to fire his office manager and hire someone that can implement an efficient process for rescheduling. He's a great doctor.

Thank God for a doctor who actually cares his patients. For years, I’ve been trying to get by on my own, through a limited network of healthcare. After being treated by Dr. Garb, I sleep better, more energy, positive attitude and drive. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Garb changed my life and I am forever grateful. He is consistently intuitive, compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. Garb called in the incorrect medication dosage for my son. When we called his office to inform them of this a girl by the name of Donna said '"Just tell him to try it." I asked her, "Are you a doctor?" Amazing that some non-doctor girl on the phone is suggesting my son take the incorrect dosage of medication. Donna said she would get back to us and they never have. The correct medications haven't been called in still. $325 cash for first visit and $150 for a 25 min phone conversation. Stay as far away as you can. Good luck getting anyone on the phone. And god forbid you cancel or miss an appointment without letting them know 24-hours in advance. They charge a fortune. But there is no worries if they cancel on you last minute :)

The first doctor liked to kill me. Dr Garg got it right the first time. Then help my lovely girlfriend who had been misdiagnosed for over 25 yrs. She is become a new happy living person.

Incredibly intuitive diagnostician, compassionate, deeply knowledgeable about medication regimens. He has helped several of my clients whose depression didn’t respond well to the medication they were on.

Dr. Garb is nothing short of a saint. A top notch psychiatrist who will go out of his way to help you. He is just a great human being. I would recommend him to anyone. If you are reading reviews of psychiatrists and are unsure of which one to go see, I promise you that you will not find a better one than Dr. Garb.

He is brilliant in figuring out the issues and treating with medication and therapy if needed. He has gotten to know me well over the years and can tell when I am "off". He has saved my life more than once and I am forever grateful to him.

Dr. Garb And his staff as well as partners have always been there to help me with my scheduling, to helping me with letters, pre-authorizations, and many other supportive issues to help my medical issues.

I had been to two other DR. trying to get my life on track. Dr. Garb listened to my issues and prescribed a med that caused me to try and commit suicide earlier in my life. I told him of my problem with that med in the past he listened and said I still need to take the med. But he also prescribed two other meds to take with them. I was very nervous about the whole situation but I trusted him from the start. After a few weeks and no bad side effects I started to feel like myself. he saved my life

I have been seeing Dr. Garb for the past 3 years now. Every time I go there he makes me feel comfortable, and I appreciate the fact that he is very well spoken. He asks questions , and is clear on what my needs are. Medically he has helped me with my medication, and worked with me until I have gotten it to the right place, and it's not easy getting there for some. You have to have patience. I have so much respect for his honesty, and him over all as a doctor. He is highly intelligent, and I love his approach to treatment, amongst the other recommendations he has made in the past. Remember a doctor is just part of your mental health treatment. It takes proper, nutrition, sometimes therapy, and getting honest with yourself and the doctor, have realistic expectations, and make sure you listen to what he is saying as well. (Thanks to Donna and the rest of the office staff as well) As far as someone long term who will send you in the right direction, I would choose Dr. Garb, and I will continue to send people his way. I suffer from bipolar disorder have been a patient of Dr. Garb'sfor 10 years. He was recemmended to me by the HR department at the company where I work. Defore seening Dr. Garb I had been treated by a number of Dr.'s who either ade my condition worse or who did no good at all. Dr. Garb has made all of the difference in the world. His dianosis was spot on and his treatment recommendations have lead to a very significant improvement in my condition. I have recommended him to many others and hsave even paid the bill for others to see him. I have round him to be very frendly and respectful. I cannot understand why the previous reviewer had such a different experience and I do hope the person finds someone more to his/her liking.
