Rose Marie Hunter

Amazing pediatrician! She always looks out for the kids. She is always informative. I have not had an issue with her since I started taking my kids to her.

Rose hunter is always calling in and having to reschedule. I have called in 2 times to work because of this and there is no apologies so sick of this place

Couldn’t figure out how to do less than one star. Dr Hunter was my Grandsons pediatrician from birth until she had allowed him to lose so much weight by 9 weeks with absolutely NO CONCERN for his weight loss, when he was finally at 1percentile for weight my son and daughter in law walked him into Devoss children’s hospital emergency room despite Dr Hunters assurance he just had a high metabolism and next visit he was allergic to dairy.... neither which are factual...He was immediately admitted and remained hospitalized for days! He left the hospital and was immediately put with a new pediatrician and I am happy to report he has been gaining weight ever since. This Dr needs to be removed from practice or at least disciplined in some way. My grandson could end up with any type of long term issue due to her incompetence and allowing him to go so long during such crucial growth time with such a huge lack of nutrition. Cannot UN RECOMMEND this Dr enough.... would prefer to have her removed from the medical profession! Couldn’t figure out how to do less than one star. I really like this doctor, she is thorough, kind and professional!!

She is a great physician, and knows a lot about the pediatric population. She is patient and kind and takes the time to explain everything. Great Doctor!

Dr. Hunter is always very attentive. Any time my children are sick the office works in a same day visit. She had worked with us for a few chronic issues and has no problem referring us to specialists when needed.

This office is a freaking joke! Dr hunters bedside manner is just crap. Why would you become a pediatrician if you cannot connect to children on their level??? Once she “forgot us” in room for an hour. She makes you feel ignorant, & small. She is always in a rush! Though Her nurse is a sweet heart! Overall every dr I’ve seen in the Ionia office have been exceptionally disappointing! The scheduling process is terrible and you are punished for their mistakes!

After going to several pediatric doctors in Grand Rapids Dr. Hunter was a nice change. When making an appointment with previous doctors offices you never knew who you were going to see and many errors happened. As a parent she was easy to form a relationship with. Every time you make an appointment you will see her. As a parent I appreciate that she truly listens and will refer on if necessary. She is kind and gentle with you little one as well. Dr. Hunter is a blessing to have in a small town.

Dr. Hunter is clearly an experienced pediatrician. From coming into an exam room with songs to ease a child's anxiety to leaving a parents informed about expected development and milestones. She's efficient leaves me feeling confident that our daughter's health is in good hands!

Dr. Hunter was and is very professional to our son's care. We have a newborn son and on visits we have had, she has been very informative to his needs and what we should look for concerning our son. The consultations with Dr. Hunter have not only been constructive but have been a blessing. We look forward to her being a part of our son's health and recommend her to anyone for a pediatric Doctor.

Dr hunter herself is not a bad doctor however, her receptionists lack the ability to give you the answers that you need nor the professionals that you need to speak with. My daughter has a problem with diarrhea and I can't even get any insight on what I should do for it
