Ross Alan Johnston

Dr. Johnston is the second provider I have seen at Cape Cod ENT. He is very pleasant and thorough, and always takes the time to answer my questions.

Patient friendly with at ease manner. Walked me through a detailed diagnosis making it easier to understand. Further tests to follow.

Great office and great doctor! I finally feel better after 9 months of feeling sick. I was referred to him after 7 months of going back and forth with my primary. It took him no time at all to treat my symptoms. I was treated very nicely by Dr. Johnston and the office. It was nice to be seen and it felt good to have a doctor care about my well being. Dr. Johnston did an amazing job and the below negative review is sorely mistaken. Unlike some other medical professionals, Dr. Johnston is highly capable of showing empathy for your issues. Dr. Johnston displays a very comforting wit while still keeping you informed and keeping it serious. Anytime Dr. Johnston's name was spoken throughout the hospital the staff were quick to praise his attitude and competence. I highly recommend Dr. Johnston if he is in your realm of consideration. NO! I would not recommend an enemy or friend to this man. I should had paid more attention to the reviews before I went to him. I was there for nasal polyps and a foreign body in my ear. He asked me what I wanted him to do about both and I replied my primary sent me here to you to exam both He paced behind me never making eye contact. He looked in my ear and when I asked him what he thought he said there was nothing there. Asked him again and told him my primary said there was and I can feel it. I tried to get to it myself (not a great idea) he told me the only thing that was there was a blood blister. I told him I got that from trying to get it out. He continued to tell me there was nothing there. He never looked in my nose and stood behind me the whole time. End of story is that I got up and walked out. I went to a walk- in health center and guess what? There was a small calcified hard stone in there. Please save yourself from this man

He was very rude. I had 3 episodes of vertigo and was trying to explain them to him. He kept telling me to come on hurry up after I waited two months to even get to see him and I am an ongoing patient. Will not be seeing him again. Then all he does is refer me to PT????

EXTREMELY RUDE DOCTOR. I wouldn't recommend him even if he was the last doctor on earth. I just had a baby a few months ago and he proceeded to call me fat the whole time and making vulgar comments about my breasts. He has some ego issues going on. I'm a 23 year old mother of two. I don't feel good about my appointment, I don't feel like he really cared about my reason for seeing him. And last I knew when you sit down you do have a little bit of chub? Or is that just me? Thought it was normal until today.. I thought I was doing well with losing my baby belly too. I'm completely hurt and disgusted with his behavior. Makes me wonder how he treats his other patients.

Dr. Johnston performed an emergency tracheostomy on me and in 3 words, saved my life. Thank you, Doctor!

Very thorough and very kind

Dr. Johnston was very nice he introduced himself, explained my issues was very pleasant and funny. I saw him for Tonsillitis and then again for a Tonsillectomy. He did a great job and prepared me very well for Tonsillectomy care and what was to come. Also his staff was very nice and caring to my needs. I definitely recommend Dr. Johnston. It took me 1 year to get an MRI for a neck Problem.

He is a very rude doctor. He yelled at me the whole appointment. Told me my throat issue is all anxiety while yelling at me making it worse. He yelled at me when I gagged while he use old the nose scope then yelled at me when I cleared my throat telling me not to do that. What a complete jerk. I do not reccomend him to anyone. He is very rude. He yelled at my the whole appointment. He told me my throat issue is all anxiety and that I need to relax. How can you relax when this doctor is yelling at you being rude. He yelled me because I gagged while getting scope in my nose then after I had cleared my throat he yelled at me again to not do that. He told me try start taking omeprazole twice instead of once I asked him a new script he told me in a rude manner he can try but doesnt mean I'll get it. Totally unprofessional

EXCELLENT CARE & CONCERN; Dr. Johnston works to get to the root of the problem, not just to medicate to cover it up.. Top notch staff that handles every kind of personality. For the best care this is the place to go.

I wouldn't even call him a Doctor, he was the most unprofessional person I've ever had to deal with. He didn't introduce himself when he walked in and while I was waiting in the exam room I could hear him talking poorly about a patient he had just seem. He made me uncomfortable and essentially ignored what I was telling him. It seemed like he just wanted to get through the appointment quickly without giving my symptoms much thought.
