Dr. Ryan Lee Overton

I have been seeing DrOverton for over 15 yrs now. On initial visit I could not look over either shoulder. Now, with maintenance visits monthly, my neck has normal curvature and my back, hips knees, my whole body, is fully functioning. He cares about the cause of pain, not just the symptom. He Cares about the person. I recommend him to all my friends.

When first moving to Columbus in 2014 I found Dr Overton and have been seeing him ever since. Last year I had a bout of plantar fasciitis and being on my feet 8+hrs a day it was getting unbearable... Of course while googling remedies to help with this problem, I came across a chiropractor, treating someone with plantar fasciitis and took this video to Dr. Overton and with the first treatment I felt relief by months end the pain was almost gone and by the second month of treatments I can say it's a done deal! I highly recommend Dr Overton and his staff☺️❤️

I was in pain from an accident recently. I was referred to come here and have been going to physical therapy since. I have seen an amazing improvement in my physical health. I would recommend to anyone.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Overton and his staff! I suffer from extreme migraines and my primary doctors and neurologists have not been able to tell me why I get them and I am on daily prevention medications. When they came back a little over 2 months ago life become pretty miserable. Medication changes were not working, so I decided to try chiropractic work, and I found Dr. Overton’s office. All my life I’ve been scared to see a chiropractor. Scared that it would hurt or that I’d somehow become paralyzed. I was having so much back pain and medication was barely helping. I found Dr. Overton and I’m so happy I decided to give him a try. From the moment I called to set up an appointment, his staff made me feel welcomed and eased some of my worries with their upbeat and friendly personality. I went to see Dr. Overton when I first moved to Columbus for severe back and hip pain after the VA denied my disability claim. I first met his staff on my initial appointment, Carson and Darren were so friendly and welcoming. Really made me feel at ease about having someone twist me like a pretzel. After my intake, and scaring Carson with the loudness of my hip pop I finally met Dr. Overton. Again, super welcoming and friendly, explained everything that I was experiencing and what his plans were to fix this on going problem I’d been having. I was shocked to see my spine the way it was on X-rays as I didn’t think it was that bad. The staff eased my worries and told me that it was very easy to fix and manage. I had the best experience for my first time coming here! They are all the best! It started from the moment I walked in. I can’t remember everyone’s name but I know the receptionist had the sweetest personality and was so kind and welcoming! Then the assistant was so friendly, outgoing and so informative that it made me feel at ease being there! Then Dr.Overton comes in and he is just as great as they are! I recently came to see Dr. Overton and they exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned after reading the review from "private private " but let me just say, I found my experience to be the exact opposite. I did not feel any pressure and everything was clearly explained to me. Everyone was extremely friendly and they took the time to explain to me exactly what was causing my problem. I have been seeing Dr. Ryan Overton for a little over two weeks. After trying and having care under another Chiropractor and 5 other specialist in Columbus, GA., I had no improvement. Dr. Overton relieved ALL of my upper neck, mid-back, and right lower pelvic pain. This relief from all existing pain happened in just 3 days/visits. No more Methodone, Fentanyl, Norco, Dilaudid and numerous other prescription medication. The list goes on and on! But...Why did I need Chiropractic Care at all? Diagnosed with 1 Stroke, Cardiovascular Accident (CVA) in 2009 at the age of just 36. My family was in total shock. Teaching Special Education for 17 years and Assistant coaching Gorls Track & Field, I was in the best physical shape of my life. After all, I had been competing from the age of 10 both Nationally and Internationally. As a former USA ???????? Women’s Track & Field 1992 Olympic Athlete and qualifier, my home state of Homewood Flossmoor,IL. was left in in total disbelief. Now totally paralyzed on the complete left side of my body, the long road to Rehabilitation began. I was given a “miracle” drug called Tissue Plasminogen Activator or TPA. A major complete blood-clot buster. I recovered about 90% of all lost speech and all body use back. Only to again be hit by another TIA Stroke, 10 months later and given TPA again. Recovering again 95% of total body use. Until 2014, hit with multiple TIA’s, totaling now 9. Again, temporarily returning home on a rolling walker, I felt hopeless. Tragedy would strike me on July 20, 2018. A flip over car accident leaving me with even more severe pain and even less hope. After 10 long years and suffering 9 total diagnosed Strokes, I was taking almost 40-45 medications daily. But not today..thanks to Dr. Ryan Overton. I’m only on a regimen of 4 prescription medications and iron. I recommend Dr. Overton because I have dealt with back problems since I was in middle school it got to the point I couldn’t even walk. Before I went to him I went to four different emergency rooms to be told all different things from having to see a specialist for a longer leg to back surgery. After going to see him and actually seeing and X-ray of my back it all began to make sense. Since I have been seeing him I can walk straight with no pain in my leg and take care of my kids. I am not one to write reviews but wanted to for someone who is in pain like I was for so long. I have been a mechanic for most my life and developed lower back pain to the point I could not get out of bed. I was told I needed surgery from my primary doctor but opted to try any alternative which in my case I did have cortisone shots in the spine which helped with Dr. Overton adjustments. I then had to move to Marietta Ga. for work and tried several chiropractors none of them could adjust me like Dr. Overton. I would highly recommend Dr. Overton for chiropractic care. Since I have been seeing him for my shoulder and neck I have had great improvements in my mobility and in my pain. It is wonderful to actually be able to sleep through the night. I appreciate that he listens and adjusts his treatment according to the patients needs. The office staff are all very friendly and helpful!

I was told that I needed back surgery due to a herniated disc. I went to see Dr. Overton with a 9-10 level pain in my leg due to this disc issue. After just a few visits, my pain level began to go down. I now have a 1-2 pain level and still getting better. I highly recommend Dr. Overton and his staff.

No matter where my pain is, Dr Overton 's adjustments leave me feeling calm and relaxed. I have a 46% curvature of lower spine and am always in pain but ALWAYS leave Dr Overton feeling painless and invigorated. I rarely tell Dr O where pain is; he miraculously finds mis-alignments and stops the origin of the pain. If you really want less disconforts and pain, see Dr O; otherwise, suffer.

Dr. Overton and Dr. Williams and staff are the best. When I first went into the office I could hardly walk. I was in so much pain. I met Dr. Williams and Dr. Overton and they wasted no time explaining everything to me so I could understand what was going on with my body as well as what treatment would be used to help me. The staff was friendly and caring from day one. The people here treat you like family! I am finally back to 100% normal!!!

These guys are among the best in Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley. Dr. Williams has helped me get back to normal. More importantly the staff is awesome, they all have amazing personalities, I just have a hard time describing how fantastic this place is.
