Dr. Sahar Eftekhar

Dr. Eftekhar has otherwise really good reviews so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I had 3 sessions with her and had quite a negative experience overall. She was at least 15 minutes late to each telemedicine call and had not read through the notes from my previous provider prior to intake. She was highly reactive with sensitive areas of my medical history and put me on the defensive immediately. If you are looking for a trauma-informed provider I would look elsewhere.

I have seen a couple of psychiatrist in my lifetime but never felt a connection or comfortable around them. The moment I met Dr. Eftekhar, I felt completely comfortable and safe. Her smile, her down to earth personality, and charm will make anyone feel at home. It saddens me that she will be relocating out of state but I wish her all the success with the world because its well deserved.

Not only did she work wonders for my wife but she took time to talk to me, as the husband, to get my opinion on what was going on at home. And she gave both of us advice on how to improve. She was always upbeat for my wife but not they annoying super happy. Really hope we can find a way to work with her again!
