Dr Mehta is the best cardiologist .He is very helpful in explaining the results of testing and inquiry to other issues .With a plan to treat current conditions.Very personable .

I trust and find Dr. Mehta completley knowledgeable and helpful while being engaging, compassionate and warm. Wouldn't think of changing cardiologits again (this said after I switched twice before finding Dr. Mehta). He's great. Last week I scheduled a same day appointment with Dr. Mehta to go over some issues I was feeling. But, on this day, he was running abit behind and I was asked if I'd like to get started with his NP, Maggie, with whom I'd spoken with before. I agreed and found her to be a truly gifted practioner. She answered my questions and concerns with thorough, patient, supportive, helpful, and reassuring responses and explanations. It would be difficult to adequately describe her personable, knowledgeable, confident, conversant and credible manner. She was constantly attentive and completely easy and comfortable to speak with. Unequivocally, I recommend her.

Dr Mehta has been my cardiologist ever since my heart attack. Excellent and a true professional in his field.

I had a coronary issue about ten years ago and my primary physician recommended I go in for a stress test. As I went to the hospital, I brought along a bag of essentials; toothbrush, sleeping wear, a book, my phone charger and other items, as I knew I would be hospitalized for several days. I passed the stress test with flying colors and the attendants thought I was over-reacting by bringing in my personals. I insisted that I was not. So, they put me in some kind of tube to really look at me. I came out of it and shortly after, they said, "Okay, we're checking you in and we're going to do a further test where we send something up your arteries after we drill a large hole into your thigh. Ouch, that didn't sound fun!!! So, they drilled away and they showed me on a TV screen that my veins weren't connecting and blood wasn't getting to my heart. DANGER!!! So, they put in two stents and told me to change my life style. Obviously, I "fell in love" with the cardiologist. He saved my life. I changed my life style, I cut my french fries intake by half, I started working out and actually got a personal trainer. I actually cut down on my intake of single-malt Scotch whisky. All was good. But, then disaster struck. My cardiologist moved to Texas.!!! ABANDONED!!! Ouch, that hurts! RESCUE!!! He referred me to Denver Heart and I was assigned to Dr. Sameer Mehta. I didn't know him from Adam. Who is he? Where is he from? What are his credentials? Needless to say, I was apprehensive. I went to my first appointment. After filling out all the tortuous paper work and experiencing the obligatory delay in the waiting room, I was led into a sterile small exam room for the next long wait. After a few minutes, in walks a young lady who orders me to take off my shirt so she can stick all these suction cups all over my torso. I felt like I was being attacked by a giant squid. After yanking them off, along with about 247 chest hairs, she departed, informing me that "the doctor" will be in shortly. She and I obviously had different definitions of the term, "shortly". In he comes, wearing his white frock and looking at a computer read-out. He introduces himself and informs me that my cardiogram looks good. I knew that!!! I've had a plethora of them over the past three years. I wanted to know if my ticker was healthy!!! He smiles, sits down and proceeds to interrogate me. I wasn't sure if I was in a doctors office or if I was under "cardiac arrest". THAT'S A JOKE!!! He asked me about my job, what I do, how many hours I worked, my children and my relationship with them, my daily routine, what I ate (I lied about the french fries), my marriage and was I happy, my alcohol intake (I lied about the single-malt intake), my sex-life, my friendships and my social life. I felt like I was being interviewed for a White House job!!! I questioned and he replied, and I paraphrase, "I can tell more about your heart by learning about you as a person and your personal habits and routine. I can see that you are in good shape, your tests results are all great, and you look fit. I want to know the "real you". It was then, that I knew that I was again blessed with a doctor who cared about me. Doctor Sam is one of my angels who looks out for me. I am truly blessed. If you choose to have Doctor Sam as your cardiologist, you too, will be blessed. Surgeon 1 did a bad job closing my chest after heart surgery, Surgeon 2 In the process of rebuilding my chest, cut, then sewed shut, an artery to my heart. BUT DID NOT TELL ME! Cardiologist 1 afterward, could not find my problem. Cardiologist 2 could not figure out how to help me. Finally I was referred to Dr Mehta, Dr. Mehta, not only found my problem, he was able to do a partial correction with a stent and took me out of heart failure. Dr. Mehta saved my life. I was rushed to the emergency department,by ambulance, on a below freezing December night in 2016. I was told I was having a heart attack by the ED Dr. I was wheeled into the operating room on a gunnery and 20 minutes later Dr. Mehta, who had been on call, was saving my life. I had a 90 percent blockage in one of my arteries. Dr. Mehta was able to place a stent in it, and I am here today to tell you what an incredible surgeon he is. I met Doctor Mehta in the hospital after a cardiac event that sent me to the emergency room a few years ago, and I have been his patient ever since. I couldn't ask for more professional and attentive care than what I've received from Dr. Mehta. He's always been a pleasure to talk to, too. Never made me feel like he was in a rush.

There are not enough words to say how wonderful this man is! My mother met Dr. Mehta after she was admitted in the hospital through the E.R. We were told devastating news and to prepare for the end. Dr. Mehta & Mom had other ideas about that. He took such good care of her and kept Mom's heart failure at bay. My mother is elderly but he never treated her that way. He is very attentive, respectful, but most of all kind and warm. If she had a problem he managed it. She has been his patient for many years and I don't believe you will find a better heart doctor. His staff is wonderful and the whole office is well managed. He goes above and beyond what you expect from a doctor and you couldn't be in better hands. Dr. Sameer Mehta is this man and because of him my vascular problems have been corrected after many years and many physicians. His office is A-1 with the most caring nurses and staff I've ever known. Dr. Mehta fixed a large hole in my heart. The surgery went so easily, and now with the implant that monitors my heart, I'm confident that I'm getting top quality treatment and help.

Dr. Mehta saved my husband's life 10 years ago and released him from care 8 years ago. When he was in need of a cardiologist recently, we called Dr. Mehta! He actually remembered us, I couldn't believe it! If that isn't a sign that a Dr. actually cares about his patients, I wouldn't know what is! I would recommend him to anyone!

Drs and office is too busy to provide quality care. Dr didn’t show up for one of my appt. —little or no help getting a Rx filled.

Dr. Mehta was professional but at the same time compassionate while listening my complaints. He ordered tests he felt would aid in getting to the root of my problem and explained thoroughly the risk that maybe involved. His staff greeted you in a friendly manner. There was minimal waiting time. Would most definitely recommend someone needs cardio care.

Dr.Mehta is by far an outstanding miraculous working physician who listens to his patients and remembers their ailments!!!! Im a triple bypass and then double bypass cardiac survivor. Those done prior to being guided ( and I believe I was) to him. His confidence and knowledge astounds me.. He near promised He would not recommend a third bypass if cath was not favorable. He kept his word and spent 2 1/2 hours dedicated to correcting my blockage and far exceeded himself!!! This healer heals!!!!

Having heart issues is new and concerning for me. Dr. Mehta’s personable, caring, and professional style made me feel secure. He also showed he respected my concerns and opinions. I ‘m providing this review after my first appointment with Dr Mehta. I made the appointment after getting a surprising diagnosis of an irregular heart beat by a pain medicine specialist. My overall experience including my time with Dr. Mehta and his staff was excellent. After completing all the necessary paperwork, I was immediately taken back to an exam room and throughly interviewed and examined by Dr. Mehta’s PA. Dr Mehta met with me to discuss findings and recommended foll-up tests. ??

I have a rare auto immune disorder called Kounis Syndrome. I have seen him for over two years. I kept telling him about the condition I suspected and asked him to perform certain tests to identify and treat the problem properly. He refused to help me and though and told me it was all on my head. At the end...I ended up with several cardiac events and a Myocardial infarction. Also want to make a note that I was right and he was wrong. I was diagnosed with the disease in question by Natl Jewish.
