My Local Doctor retired and I moved to another side of Maui and saw Dr. Johnsen. How knowledgeable , great bedside manner. I have lived on island for almost a decade visiting or new local, look no further! Colin

IF you've NEVER seen Dr Johnsen as a patient how can you comment? Dr Johnsen is very caring and loves what he does. He is funny and very likeable. It's obvious he likes what he does and I hear nothing but wonderful things.

Terrible doctor. Refused to see me when my GP doc of 10+ yrs referred me to him as my new PCP. He is accepting new patients. Wouldn’t provide any reason for the refusal. Front desk person extremely argumentative and actually hung up on me on phone. Avoid this discriminating place like the plague!

Best doctor on the west side and beyond.

Dr. Johnsen is one of the best doctors around. I have had an unusual disease for a long time and he was always there for me. Take it from someone who is sick - he will help you. He is also capable of making the right diagnosis, which is rare on Maui. He is also a nice guy, who genuinely cares. You can not go wrong with him in this one horse town.

Dr. Johnsen has been our primary care Dr. for over 7 yrs. He has always been highly competent, caring and explains thoroughly & answers questions until you, the patient, are satisfied. His easy manner is reassuring & comforting. Barbara & Jerry, Lahaina, HI.

I am so happy I found Dr. Johnsen. It is so nice to have a doctor who isn't part of a "group". He is very caring and easy to talk to and I now feel I am in very good hands for the future.
