My appt has been rescheduled TWICE by them! 2mos later & I’m still trying to get in to see her. Huge inconvenience.

Very unprofessional. I needed/wanted the IUD removed and she tried insisting that I can keep it in longer than removal date. Looking on the actual website of Mirena, it states 5 years. She insisted it can last up to 10 years. She was very hesitant and insisting that I can keep it in longer even though the 5 years is up and I wanted it removed as I do not want to have it longer with the risks greater than 5 years. Dr. Murphy “took care” of my sister for surgery. My sister was very nervous & Dr. Murphy was very nice & prayed with my sister. We got updates when surgery started & Dr. Murphy personally let us know when surgery was done, that everything went well & would check on her in the afternoon. I went to dr Murphy after my primary doctor thought i had endometriosis. Dr murphy ordered a ultrasound which was normal and said its not endometriosis you are on the nuvaring. Here is 800 mg ibuprofen and walked out of the room. I had been in excruciating pain and she didnt seem to care i went back to my primary doctor who highly suggested i get a second opinion because being on bc doesnt mean you dont have it. I went to woods gyno in nashville where i explained my symptoms and she told me it definitely sounded like endometriosis. And gave me a bc pill to try to see if that help and it did. Sandra murphy could of done that or looked into ways to help me. Wven my primary dr said the only way to dignose endometriosis is through exploratory surgery and as a gyno obgyn she should know that and should have cared alittle more to actual help.

Dr Murphy performed my sister’s surgery. My sister was nervous before surgery so Dr Murphy prayed with her. Dr Murphy’s staffed informed our family when she started surgery & Dr Murphy personally told us when surgery was done, it went well & she would check on my sister later in the day. Being a nurse myself, I know not many doctors will do all of that anymore. Thanks Dr Murphy!

I am a high risk pregnant patient. At very visit that I have seen her at she literly walks in makes little to no eye contact doesn't ask me how I feel.or if I have concerns or questions. She sometimes measures me sometimes listens to baby and then she's ready yo get outta the office with me. If you have time and can get out a concern you may be having before she quickly leaves the exam all she will do.is say go to Labor and delivery. Her bedside manner is horrible for an obgyn. I Have tried to talk to her but she always rushes out of the ROOM. MY worst experience with a doctor. The other nurses and girls at the front desk have told me I'm not the only one and that many other women have changed providers. Many she just doesn't like certain people and I'm one of them. I wasn’t able to make my first appointment because I had forgot due to it being scheduled a month away. I called to reschedule. Another month away. When I got there at 10 am, I waited an hour in a half to get back there to see her. My doctor had wrote her exactly what I needed done. I heard them tell her what I was needing & she acted like she knew nothing about it even though it was in my notes. She walks in, very nice but was rushing me to get out. She told me what she was supposed to do but that I would have to come back to get it done. So I waited an hour in a half just to be told no & was rushed out of the room. Mind you, I was the very last person in the waiting room. She had time to do what she was supposed to. I tried asking her questions but she told me we would talk about it at my next visit. Literally waited an hour in a half, drove 45 minutes to see her & was rushed out of the room in 5 minutes. I heard the assistant nurse tell her what I was supposed to have done that day to. She just didn’t want to do it. I left, made another appointment FOR ANOTHER MONTH AWAY. I don’t know who these people are but after this appointment, I will not ever go back. I will go to Murray instead. I knew better anyway because it’s hopkinsville.... but goodness. I’ve heard bad things about her as well but figured since I’d be in hoptown, I’d deal with it. Never again. Wasted 3 hours of me time, to get something I needed done, just to be rescheduled for another month away. Terrible. Just terrible. I adore Dr. Murphey, this is my first pregnancy ands she's been amazing, she's quick with the uncomfortable things and she answers my questions when I do have them.. we will continue perusing care with her and will seek her if we decide to get pregnant again. Her nursing mom staff is also amazing, they make everything so comfortable and easy.

I do not recommend this Doctor.She is not friendly and I had a simple UTI and she gave me medicine but it was not strong enough and she refused to call another one in for me she needed another urine test and I was out of town.

Probably my worst experience with a doctor, ever. First, she walks in, gives me a weak handshake without even looking at me. She tells me that my pain is not real, that I couldn't possibly going through menopause because I still have periods, though she never even asked me about my menstruation. When I mentioned the pain and discomfort I've been experiencing, she tells me that she doesn't prescribe narcotics. I NEVER asked her for a narcotic! She (and her medical receptionist) treated me like I was a piece of garbage! Instead of giving me a pap (which she had time to do because there was no one else there, and she was on the computer when I left) she makes an appointment for a month away. She ignored anything I said, treated me like a liar and addict, and even though I personally drove from Tennessee two weeks prior to give her reports and copies of tests that I received recently, she stated she was confused to why I was there. Really? I had three other doctors from the ER tell me that I needed a hysterectomy. This lady was awful! Her receptionist was rude and patronizing! I even wrote Dr. Murphy a letter stating my entire history, and pleaded for help with these large fibroids that are causing pain and bleeding. She absolutely didnt care. Horrible, horrible doctor!
