Dr Sood is thorough BUT his practice, staff, and office is horrible. They lack professionalism and bed side manner. I was skipped during a visit. Just told oops and they kept on about their business. The nurses mother called during my interview questions and she answered her cellphone. The team were not informative or friendly. Very unprofessional practices. This doctor has referred many Employee's of our company and now they have bills of over $30,000 dollars after being referred to an out-of-network facility for a surgical procedure the locations name is Rockville Ambulatory Surgery. Dr. Sanjiv Sood has done this for many years and he definitely doesn't have the patient's best interest in mind nor this he care if the patient's insurance covers or doesn't cover the procedure. We believe he is probably obtaining money on the side from this Rockville Ambulatory Surgery location, I would proceed with caution if I were you and obtain estimated bills that usually take 30 days from the insurance prior to obtaining any services.

Dr Sood is a good doctor but his practice is like no place I've been to before in regards to payment. Bills there have to be payed in cash like some shady practice. There is no way around this. So either you have to pay in person or through mail with only cash.

I have been going to Dr. Sood for over six years. I really like the way he spends time with you, to make sure you understand what is going on with your health. I have recommended him to all of my friends and three of my siblings goes to him. Yes, you have to pay your co-pay in cash; however, being a good and attentive doctor out weighs that to me. I'm there about my life, health and being proactive for a good quality of life. I'm pleased with him and his staff. I have been going to Dr. Sood for over six years. Dr. Sood is quite rude and needs some work on his beside manner. He appears quite disorganized and does not keep records of the patient's last visit. This could lead to problems with drugs and interactions. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

This is the example of an anti-doctor. He is egotistical, his nose is perpendicular to the ground, so he can't see his patients. His bedside manner does not exist. He is condescending and treats his patients as if they are stupid.

Dr. Sood is an egomaniacal man, only concerned with himself and not his patients. He reminds me of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own image in the lake and then drowned. He is unorganized, does not keep tabs or records, and prescribes medicine without checking the patient's chart for interactions. He does not check the last date that the patient was there and given medicine. His office is disorganized and Dr. Sood...like Shakespeare said, 'is full of sound and fury...signifying nothing.'

SO FAR SO GOOD! FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO SURGERY CENTER EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!

Although the doctor is very kind and explains everything, communication between him and his staff is horrendous. I was told for my last appointment that if I didn't bring the entire amount due in cash, I would not be allowed to see the doctor for my results. I informed them that I had not received any bill in the mail prior to this notice. They told me I'd have to reschedule if I didn't bring cash of the full amount. My next issue with them was that a medication was prescribed to me that cost over $300. The doctor informed me that this may be the case and to call to have another similar medication sent to my Pharmacy. I called the office to inform them and one week later still no medication was sent to my Pharmacy. My last issue, was that even though the doctor is within my insurance network, where he performs his procedures is out of network. This resulted in thousands of dollars of bills for an endoscopy. Dr. Sanjiv Sood is exceptional! I had been to two other GI Specialists that were clueless! Dr. Sood diagnosed me & I have been feeling incredible since! Cannot believe that one visit changed my life! Thanks, Doc! You are awesome!!!

Doctor Sood is extremely friendly and caring. I have to see another doctor and he was very instrumental in making sure I had all the info and what to expect. His office wait time was under 15 minutes. My procedure was done on time too. No complaints here.

I was quite impressed with how professional and friendly the dr and staff were but I had to wait for about 3 hours, which is extremely unpleasant for a procedure like this. A simple email or phone call to notify me about the delay would have made the whole experience so much more pleasant. I would not recommend visiting this practice.

Very professional doctor and staff. I was suffering with intermittent bleeding along with pains. I visited Doctor Sanjiv Sood. I was able to get a quick appointment, the staff was very friendly and the office was clean. The wait time after arriving in the office was very little and i was taken to see the doctor within a few minutes. Dr. Sood examined myself, asked about my history and was very caring and diagnosed and cure my condition after only a few visits.

Don't waste your time going to see this doctor. Because you will get tired of waiting to see him and leave. That what happened to me after waiting for one hour and a half. His staff is unfriendly and look reluctant to want to work. There is no process and procedure in place from my visit stand point. This is a shame because there are supposed to be in the caring business. They must have fell asleep in that class.
