I have been to Several Psychiatrist over the past 20 years. Gordan county even as far as Atlanta. Long Story short. Dr. Sarah Swafford has been overseeing my care I believe 2016. I actually felt comfortable telling the issues I have, the problems day to day coping skills, I revealed My past traumatic events. I opened up told her the truth. Why, I wanted help (I did Not want medication.) I needed Help. Dr. Swafford actually listened and told me several things I need to do which I have. I feel the confidentiality between us is Geniene. In Closure Dr. Sarah Swafford is hands down The Best Psychiatrist I ever met. I plan to stay with her as long as she will allow me. Dr. Sarah H Swafford After 25 years of seeking help. I the Only Doctor who has took the Time answered thought provoking Questions to get to the cause of my problems. I Trust her Totally with my honest answers. Dr. Sarah Swafford is the Best by far. I am improving, all because a doctor took the time to care.

Dr. Swafford is an excellent psychiatrist. She is easy to speak to, she has a great bedside manner, and she is not judgemental. She is very approachable, and she seems genuinely concerned about her patients.

Dr Swafford is such a blessing to me. I couldn’t imagine having another doctor. She has had some not so good nurses in the past. And yes I have stayed with her through it. Some months waiting on my prescriptions for weeks pushed even me to my breaking points. I’m praying her recent move in 2022 will be the best year ever!! Keep up the great work Dr. Swafford!!

A family member is a patient of hers and really likes her caring attitude. I am concerned though, since she left Dalton Family Practice to do telemedicine visits only from her home, that we won’t be able to get an appointment with her in a timely fashion or that our texts will not be replied to quickly, as this is the only means we were given to contact her. The number we were given is 706-460-2170. I hope that she will reply the same day or at least by the next morning when we text the day before. The paper we were given said she won’t be able to keep all of her former patients. I’m unsure if that means you won’t be notified if she isnt going to see a patient again or not. Her nurse at Dalton Family Practice said she would not be working for Dr. Swofford when she left Dalton family Practice. I don’t know if she has someone assisting her with texts and other telemedicine visits. I just hope the transition to telemedicine visits only goes smoothly. She’s a very kind doctor.

I love her. She is very sympathetic and caring. I don’t want to lose her. I’ll follow her. About time Dalton got a great doctor like Dr Swafford.

She is such a good doctor and actually listens to you and she doesn’t give me a judgemental vibe at all - which I love. Even though she is very busy, she still takes the time with you on your appointment and actually listens to what you have to say.
