He did my knee replacement last October 2022. I was so worry about my surgery because I am a diabetic. He did a good job for my left knee, I got really good recovery. Thank you for all of the works you've done for me.

He’s been my doctor since 2010. Did knee replacement on left knee. In 2021 my right knee was bad. He did arthroscopic surgery to buy me time before a knee replacement. Two years later I’m still pain free. He listens, talks to you not at you. Not only professional but a fantastic surgeon.

I had a good visit. So far everything is going well. This was a very short visit.When I was getting ready for surgery, he was very good and explained everything, I would highly recommend Dr.Magitsky.

I have had both of my knees replaced by Dr. Magitsky. I had good experiences both times and I have not been in pain since. Today's visit was a follow up and he takes the time to talk to you and explains if you have any questions. I would highly recommend if you are in need of knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Magitsky did my knee replacement. During my first visit he advised to do both knees at once based on my condition and I am glad I did it that way. The recovery after the surgery was really fast - in 3 days I was home and in a little over a week I was walking with a cane. I see the office team works on reducing waiting time, it is getting better. I highly recommend Dr. Magitsky!

Following an MRI on my knee he left a note with a nurse to get me a brace and inform me that I needed surgery, but that I had to go somewhere else. No instructions, no referral. Also, the brace I was fitted in caused more pain than I already had in my knee. No bedside manner and not a bit helpful. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I just had my 2nd hip with Dr Magitsky. My 1st hip surgery went well and the surgeon and staff at Sturdy was great. Sadly my recent experience was an awful experience.

Dr. Magitsky did meniscus repair on both of my knees approx 3 years apart. Both feel like new and recovery time was quick. Highly recommend.

Dr. Magitsky did my total hip replacement. I am very pleased with the results. He is a serious down to business type of person however he takes the time to answer all questions/concerns. He is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him. He and his staff are top notch!

Very proffesional ,courtious, & down to earth

Dr Magitsky just did a total hip replacement for me. I am so pleased with the results. He's not much for chatting or kidding around, very serious down to business type of guy who is an excellent surgeon with his main focus on patient care. Pain management after surgery was great. The entire staff from the operating room, recovery and in room care was top notch. Highly recommend him and Sturdy Hospital.

yes i highly recommend the good doctor all questions answered before the operation. I had total knee replacement and all the physical therapy needed to get back to a near normal life pain free. You'll be in good hands with his associates . Totally recommend! 2 hip replacements on the same hip within two months. Gets to the bottom of things when he has a concern. First operation I was driving after 2 weeks. Then got an infection in my incision and he had to do another hip replacement. Have to say he was the best. Was back to normal after a month. Thank you Dr!

I saw Dr. Magitsky today for a five year check up after my knee operation. After a one minute wait I was immediately taken for three X-rays of my knee and then waited only 5 minutes for the doctor to appear. After a short examination and comparison with previous X-rays, the doctor and I agreed that everything was fine. My next appointment is in two years. Thank you for the efficient visit. GK

Dr. Magitsky performed a full right hip replacement for me in Feb. 2016. Prior to my surgery I could bearly perform any activities because of pain. I just had my 4 year exam with xrays and everything looks great!! No pain and now walking 4 miles a day, 5 days a week !! Thank you Dr. Magitsky for your wonderful care !! I highly recommend Dr. Magitsky for your surgery !!

Dr. Magisky is #1 in my book. He is very professional in explaining procedures. He did a partial knee replacement on me 6 yrs ago. Have had no problems. He has repaired a torn meniscus in my other knee which has been great until now, it seems I have torn it again. He gave me a cortisone shot last week and it has help.

Dr. Magitsky has been a life saver ! I had both hips replaced in my mid-to late 40's. The surgeries were 4 years apart, and feel like I'm invincible, well, almost ! It's been a handful of years now and I have been able to continue my very active outdoor life.....walking, bicycling, snowshoeing, kayaking, and even downhill skiing. I highly recommend Dr. Magitsky to everyone. He is kind, compassionate, thorough, and has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes time to listen and answers any questions you may have. Always the professional. Answers all of my questions and then some. Very good bedside manner and explains everything I needed to know. 4 years since my knee replacement and no problems. I made a quick recovery and returned to work earlier than expected. Now I need my other knee replaced and will not hesitate to have him as my surgeon.

I had 2 bi lateral knee replacements done at the same time by Dr. Magitsky 4 1/2 years ago. Perfection! Never had a problem with them. I followed all the instructions, went to PT and always completed my exercises. He gave me back my life! I’m 69 years old and just roller bladed with my 7 year old grandson around the cul de sac. He’s a # 1 in my book ( I have 100% faith in him and was excited to tell him on my office visit today ( Aug.,24 2020 that I’ve lost 56lbs. since last yr. on Aug.17,2019 till now at 121 lbs. Very pleasant answers any questions I had did a great job on both my knee replacements

I have been a patient of Dr. Magitsky for several years. He performed a knee replacement in July of 2019. Dr Magitsky is a very straight forward and upfront about not only what to expect from him but also what your is responsibility is for a successful recovery. Due to a pre-existing condition the expected mobility was not going to be much better than what I had, and he was honest and up front about that. However through his care and aggressive physical therapy the results far exceeded my expectations. After the surgery he recommended to my family that I should see a rheumatologist as he believed that there maybe another issue. I have a condition that had been misdiagnosed and am currently receiving treatment for it. I am grateful to Dr Magitsky for all his care and concern, he truly takes care of his patients

Dr. MAGITSKY replaced my left knee nearly 4 years ago. I was very apprehensive about having it done. As he explained the procedure and reassured me of the outcome I became more at ease. Dr. Magitsky did my right hip replacement three years ago, I went today for my 3 year checkup. I would recommend him to anyone considering a hip replacement. I had bad pain before the surgery and I was afraid to have it done. I am so glad that I did. The whole process went very smoothly and I had no pain after the surgery. He is very professional and trustworthy. If I need at some point to have the other hip done I would go back to him.

I had my left hip replacement surgery with Doctor Magitsky 4 years ago. He came highly recommend to me by a co-worker from my firefighter days. I has experienced severe pain in my leg and went to his office for an evaluation. He recommended we try a cortisone shot and see if could get relief. Needless to say I did find minimal results and went back for another evaluation and I decided to have the hip replacement surgery done. I could not be happier with the results and professionalism shown by Dr. Magitsky and his team of professionals. I would highly recommend him to you!

Dr. Magitsky performed my right hip replacement in 2013. I was amazed at how smoothly the entire process was. I had no complications and a very good recovery. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Magitsky. He is pleasant and very professional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. His staff is also very pleasant, professional and easy to deal with. My mothers knee surgery has been rescheduled for the third time now. Not only is she distraught because her children have made plans that have been disrupted (plane tickets, train tickets, time off for work) but, she is also in terrible pain, which will now be prolonged further. I can understand the need to cancel surgery however, it should have not been rescheduled without 100% confirmation that the surgeon would be available for the new date. Certainly, a third surgery date should have not been cancelled and rescheduled. My family has now incurred non-refundable costs and my mother is inconsolable. This is not how any medical practice should be run. My mothers knee surgery has been rescheduled for the third time now. I was referred to Dr. Magitsky by my primary care physician for arthritis in both hips. I subsequently had full replacements for both hips. Dr. Magitsky is very professional and knowledgeable, and explained all my options with no pressure to chose any specific treatment or timeline. Both surgeries went extremely well, and I am very satisfied with the results. I strongly recommend him if you need an orthopedic surgeon.

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Magitsky in 2014 when my right knee suddenly gave out. Dr. Magitsky had various testing done and concluded that I had torn meniscus that could be repaired but he also noted that I had arthritis and that if he repaired only, I would come back in a year or so needing a total knee replacement due to the arthritis. Rather than have two surgeries, I decided to do the full replacement. He and his office assistant were very professional and prepared me with support and materials in preparation for my surgery. The surgery was perfectly done and though it was a long recovery, today I am fully mobile and can do everything I did with my natural knee. Fast forward to 2018 my left knee was also arthritic and needed a replacement. Both knees healed well and today I am as active as I have ever been. Great care..professional and courteous staff

I was referred to Dr. Magitsky by my primary care physician for my left hip due to severe arthritis inflammation. Upon further examination it was determined that surgery was needed to replace the left hip & the right hip as soon as the left hip was healed enough to proceed. He explained everything in detail about the procedure & what to expect after surgery to me & my wife. The operation went very well & I felt very little pain during the recovery period. He does 3 & 6 month follow ups with xrays to ensure everything is healing correctly. He shows compassion for his patients, always pleasant & very easy to talk to & makes you feel comfortable during your office visit. You can call his office anytime with questions & they will respond back as soon as possible. They are also very pleasant & easy to deal with. After 2 hip replacements, I would without any hesitation refer him to anyone who needs hip replacement surgery. I am very pleased with his professionalism as a Doctor & Surgeon.

Dr. Magitsky performed my left knee replacement in March 2017 followed by my right knee replacement in November 2017. He is an excellent surgeon with a pleasant demeanor. Both knee surgeries went very well with no complications. Dr. Magitsky was straight forward with me prior to each surgery stating that my dedication to rehab and doing my exercises would be key to my recovery. I listened and he was right. Having both knees replaced was the best decision I ever made. I'm now pain-free and enjoying life.

This is a yearly visit to check my knee replacements. Dr. Magitsky is always cordial and thorough when checking my knees.

I saw Dr. Magitsky in August 2018 due to sharp pain and crunching sounds in my left hip that came on fairly quick and not due to any injury. He informed me that I was a prime candidate for a hip replacement due to the hip being bone on bone, but that we could try a cortisone shot first. The shot only helped a couple of months so I returned to his office in late January 2019. He told me that I had 2 choices...hip replacement or put up with the pain until I got a hip replacement. I opted for the hip replacement which was done at the end of February 2019. Everyone that saw me prior to the hip surgery and then 2 weeks after could not believe the difference. I no longer have crunching or pain in that hip. Dr. Magitsky is very skilled, knowledgeable, and matter of fact, which I like in a doctor. My other hip has some arthritis and may one day need a replacement. I know who I will be going to see for that...Dr. Magitsky! Thank you Dr. Magitsky!

I have been Dr. Magitsky's patient for over 5 years now. He evaluated my right hip and informed me on several options from PT to full replacement. He gave me his thoughts of each pro and con for each option. With his information and a little research I discussed a full hip replacement as I was in a pain when walking short distances. Again, we discussed the pros and cons where I acknowledged them. From when my surgery was completed and now 5 years later, Dr. Magitsky took an active role on my progression and now maintenance of my hip replacement. He even discussed my personal activities (I workout a lot) where he advised me of routines I should avoid and why to routines I should consider and why. My hip is fine and with the new routines I started several years ago, I'm more flexible now then I ever was. I give Dr. Magitsky a perfect score and highly recommend him.

I went to Sturdy Orthopedic group because I had an excellent surgical experience with Dr. Jim Snead. So, I go back for a knee(s) consultation to Dr Magitsky who suggests I need immediate surgery on my knee. So I leave with a shot and encouragement to return.
