Just wanted to reach out and fill you guys in on what I’ve ended up having to go through due to the lack of care or concern from this office. I’m recovering now from my 4th surgery due to the infection I ended up getting from my original surgery through this office. The one they never cared to follow up on or properly address my concerns from when I had reached out multiple times about my incision not ever healing up. The lack of attention I received or even the fact that they never once took labs when I was concerned from the beginning is unbelievable. I find it unbelievable because every doctor I’ve spoke with since this cannot understand why they never took labs when I was having issues with a wound not healing up. I would assume that majority of that reason is because my concern was probably never even addressed with Dr Burbank until I was in an ER and he decided to call me for the first time in 2 months since my surgery. I’m not going to act like I’m in healthcare but I am in customer service and these guys failed on multiple levels. Failed a patient that put full trust in their team. I don’t understand how someone can consider themselves a health care professional with the care I was shown. It might not be protocol but moving forward might not be a bad idea to maybe have the Dr talk to the patient atleast once post surgery. It was clear I was of no concern to the Dr or their team and I really hope you never do this again to a patient. And it is not worth following up with their customer care team because they just send you a letter of denial after speaking with the same Dr that messed up in the first place. Why would any system find themselves negligent? Dr Burbank is an arrogant a** that thinks he better than anyone because he’s a Dr. I highly recommend staying as far away as possible from this office. “He told me he was the Michael Jordan of these surgeries, and yet I’ve had 3 since and multiple complications.” What a joke of a Organization/Office/Dr. Just wanted to reach out and fill you guys in on what I’ve ended up having to go through due to the lack of care or concern from this office. Great Doctor and great medical service. From start to finish, I was treated wonderfully by Dr. Burbank, very knowledgeable and understanding. Would recommend Dr. Burbank to all my friends and family

Dr. Burbank has genuine concern with his patients. I think he has great bedside manner along with being an excellent surgeon!

Dr. Burbank is super nice, very personable, great bedside manner, listens and really cares about his patients. My son thinks he is cool! :-)

Dr. Burbank spends an appropriate amount of time understanding, diagnosing and treating issues. At no point did I feel rushed between other appointments. I also liked that Dr. Burbank discussed treatment options along with his recommendations, recognizing not all issues require invasive procedures.

Dr. Burbank is an excellent physician. He has become our family Orthopedist. He takes the time to listen to his patients, provide options and feedback. I would 100% recommend him!

Dr. Burbank is excellent… very friendly, professional, compassionate, dedicated. Takes care of patients… does not send in the PA to do the care. Sits eye to eye to talk with you, explains all options of treatments available and does not push any particular treatment. Very concerned about his patients well being! Wonderful doctor!!!

Dr. Burbank accomplished a surgical repair of a partial tear of my patellar tendon. For all meetings, he was professional and practical and explained the procedure thoroughly before it was done. Afterward, the incision looked very good and although I’m still recovering, I believe this is what I needed and I’m glad Dr. Burbank was my doctor for this case.

The epitome of what a doctor should be. Great person and he genuinely cares about your health.

Dr. Burbank is a kind and caring doctor. I have seen him twice with left knee pain….the first time he prescribed an anti-inflammatory which helped for months until it didn’t. On my second visit, he suggested an injection which I did and my knee is feeling much better. Very happy patient.

Dr. Burbank took an ample amount of time to explain my options and I chose to have surgery. He preformed a rotator cuff repair and biceps tenodesis. At my first post op visit he took the time to explain everything he had surgically repaired and was willing to answer all of my questions. He is a caring and highly skilled surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Burbank is helping me manage arthritis in both knees. I appreciate his honest discussion about short term and long term treatment options. His advice on pain management has been invaluable. Dr. Burbank and the staff at the Pineville Ortho Carolina office privide outstanding patient care and service.

Dr, Burbank is fantastic. He takes the time to know and understand his patients. This helps him formulate a custom treatment plan for each individual He’s a great Doctor and I highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Burbank was very personable and easy to talk to. He thoroughly diagnosed my injury, explaining in layman‘s terms and using scans as a visual. He suggested several options, with a prognosis for each, and left the decision up to me. Absolutely no pressure to have surgery, although that was the option I chose. He made me feel confident and secure in my decision and I have no doubt I will have the best outcome. I am really happy I chose him as my orthopedist and would recommend him to anyone who has a knee problem.

I visited Orthocarolina in Pineville yesterday and my appointment was with Dr Burbank whom I have seen on a couple of occasions. He is such a fine person and seems very caring with his patients. He gave me an injection in my knee and hit the place where I was having pain. I walked out with no pain or discomfort and for that I am very grateful. I hope I can always have him as my doctor. Dr Burbank is an outstanding doctor. His knowledge, bedside manner, compassion and personality would make any patient feel comfortable in his care.

Dr Burbank is a wonderful doctor. He spent time with me on healing my broken femur that he did surgery on in February. He explains the x-rays to me in detail. Just a great person all around.

Great visit. Dr. Burbank was very patient and chose a conservative approach of treatment instead of opting for surgery right away. While I wasn’t seen until nearly an hour after my appointment time, the entire staff was very courteous and attentive which more than made up for the delay - which isn’t an uncommon occurrence these days…some things just can’t be handled in a short session and I never felt that I was being rushed through the appointment - worth the wait (and may explain the wait!).

The very BEST. Would highly recommend!

Impressive building, ability to do x-rays while I was there. Liked that Dr. Burbank considered PT before meds and injections. Dr. Burbank was friendly and easy going. Everyone was helpful and friendly, from check-in to check-out.

Ortho Carolina provides a great experience for those seeking joint pain relief or replacement. In particular, Dr. Scott Burbank in the Pineville office is outstanding. He has treated me for over 5 years including a knee replacement. I an shortly getting my other knee replaced and he is the only Dr. I would want to do it.

Dr Burbank and his assistant Paul were great- very personable. I got to his office an hour early because of traffic, and they were kind enough to take me before the scheduled time. Took his time with me, barely noticed the injection in my knee. Both are really handsome too.

Dr. Burbank is the only surgeon that my family will use for Orthopedics. I have recommended him to several of my friends and family. He LISTENS and that is something that is hard to find these days. Dr Burbank is very personable, caring and listens to you when he is your physician. Never makes you feel rushed at your appointment, takes the necessary time. Also he gives you options, not trying to steer you into one way to handling you issue. He's down to earth.

I've had to see Dr Burbank twice now for a recurring shoulder issue and have found him incredibly patient. He talks to patients in a manner that reassures them that their careplan is important to him, never rushing through an exam. I was very comfortable and reassured that my concerns would be addressed. Dr. Burbank explained in details what was going on with my knee and also showed me through x-rays as well.
