Dr.Finlay and his staff are so accommodating. Recently got a crown done & didn't feel a thing.

I have written a good review for Dr Finlay before, but the recent service I received deserves additional mention. I first met Dr Finlay when I broke one of my front teeth and he did a beautiful job of fixing that tooth and some others that were giving me trouble. I have had so many people since remark that I have a beautiful smile. I feel lucky to have had someone protect my smile. Recently I cracked a molar and needed a bridge. The work was done quickly and efficiently and beautifully. I am very grateful for Dr Finlay and his wonderful staff. I have been a patient over a decade and while I think Dr. Finlay does great work, you better be ready to open your wallet for what you may consider to be insignificant services. Example: had a small chip on a front tooth veneer, Dr. said I can smooth that right now, took literally less than 5 minutes. Charged $216 and the insurance company doesn't cover this service. Talked to office manager and they said sorry can't do anything for you. Seem to care more about getting max dollars than being reasonable. An Oral exam took much more time and they only charge $79 for that, does that make any sense? I had some cosmetic dental work done by Dr Finlay today. As always he and his staff were warm, compassionate, professional and most importantly, extremely skilled. The work he did for me is fantastic. I have been a dentist for thirty years. I am extremely picky and critical of other professional offices. Dr Finlay and his staff are with out a doubt among the best the dental profession has to offer. I had some cosmetic dental work done by Dr Finlay today. I received a referral to Dr. Finlay in 2010 and although the trip is almost an hour drive, I have never been more pleased with the level of professionalism, courtesy, friendliness and competency of this amazing staff. My experience from the gorgeous waiting room to the amazing front desk staff (who I consider extended family) to the dental chair has been exceptional from day one. Dr. Finlay employs new technology whenever feasible and I've never had an uncomfortable experience even when getting those dreaded shots. He's kind, funny, considerate and the most knowledgeable and highly educated dentist in the area. Cleanings are actually a joy if you can believe it. I'm so happy I found a dentist that is as committed to my health as I am. And I have a new smile to prove it. Love the hygienists and the office staff--they are all wonderful. I know that Dr. Finlay is an excellent doctor, however, I was surprised and disappointed by my experience during the exam portion of the visit. The doctor rattled off technical terms during the exceedingly brief exam and then quickly left the room (with an exasperated-sounding "have a good day") before I had a chance to ask for any clarifications. I don't need or want a dentist to be overly-chatty, but my experience was on the other end of the spectrum. Perhaps it was a bad day--we all have them. Great office with a wonderful staff! Everyone is pleasant and helpful.

It was the best experience, I had bonding done after I got my braces off. The process was sooo fast and honestly made me so much more confident. It looks so natural, that was a huge part of this process because I wanted it to look real and it looks so beyond amazing I would not go anywhere else!

This is an excellent, well-run office. The staff are polite and the office runs on schedule. The equipment is modern and state of the art. Dr. Finlay is an extremely well-credentialed and experienced dentist. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

Amazing dentist and even more amazing staff. You'll be impressed by the care you get from Scott and his team. They are thorough, professional, polite and engaging. I recently had my teeth cleaned at Dr. Finlay's office with Christine. The office staff is friendly and very professional. The cleaning was exceptional with Christine. She spent extra time teaching me how to use my Hydro-Floss and even took time to show me a video. My teeth have never felt so clean. Dr. Yen did the dental exam and she was pleasant and extremely gentle. I highly recommend this office and understand why Dr. Finlay is rated as a gold star dentist!

I was so lucky to have found Dr. Finlay shortly after his office opened in Arnold a number of years ago and I have nothing but praise for him and his staff. I went to Dr. Finlay with cracked, worn teeth and asked him to restore them to their original quality. He did more than that! He gave me more beautiful teeth than I ever had! He and his staff are wonderful! I will drive by a lot of dentists to get to his office and it will be worth every mile!!

I began my dental transformation in 2012 with Invisalign braces. I was a bit nervous and tentative about moving forward. Dr. Finlay did not push me, instead he educated and guided me through the process until I was ready to take my next steps. In August 2017, I completed my last procedure and I absolutely love the results. My teeth are beautiful. Recently, I have had several people (family, friends, and strangers) approach me to inquire about what has changed or the products I use to get my teeth so gorgeous. Dr. Finlay is the most technical and fine skilled dentist I have ever been to. My daughter's teeth were very involved. Dr. Finlay gathered a lot of information, from extensive films to impressions. His findings were amazing and she is receiving quality care to achieve a beautiful smile. He and his office help have a wonderful bedside manner and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about Dr. Finlay & his team! Not only has he helped me have a beautiful smile, his service 'after the sale' is second to none. I broke a front veneer off on Christmas Eve. I called the emergency line, hoping to get in the next business day. Dr. Finlay called me back that evening and offered to come in on Christmas Day to put on a temporary. Who does that?!? (I thanked him, but would never have interrupted his holiday) He got me in the following Monday, even though his office was closed. Now that is customer service! If there were more stars to rate Dr. Finlay and his staff I would give them a 10 star rating. Dr. Finlay in my opinion the ROCK STAR of dentists. I have a severe fear of the dentist due to bad past experiences. Because of this, I neglected some dental work that needed to be done. I found Dr. Finlay through an internet search and decided to take my chances. I have to say I hit the jackpot. Our first consultation he really took the time to hear me as a patient and all my concerns surrounding my fear and anxiety. He came up with a full plan that we went through together while he explained each phase in my dental plan. His staff is probably one of the nicest that I've encountered in a long time. They are kind, caring and go out of their way to make the patient feel special. I honestly could go on and on about the amazing experience I had with Dr. Finlay and his staff. Not only to I love Dr. Finlay and his team - but they saved my life. His hygienist Sandy found my throat cancer in its earliest stage when I had NO symptoms. Had I waited another year I would have had an entirely different prognosis. Dr. Finlay's restorative work is beautiful and an art form - and his administrative staff is friendly, helpful and caring. I'm always treated with the utmost care and I always feel comfortable and at home. He was recommended to me when we moved to Severna Park in 1995, and we have always been impressed with his professionalism, state of the art methods and friendly demeanor. I have recommended to him to anyone looking for a dentist. One of the most impressive aspects of his practice is there is little, I dare to say no, turnover in his staff.
