I received a complete left knee replacement on June 2021.On June 30, 2021, I was walking without a cane or walker.I am without any pain or most medications.I am taking 81asprin & Tylenol 500mg.It is a medical marvel that Dr.Silverstein is able to perform such a surgery and I was on my feet in seven days.

The best orthopedic surgeon the whole United States of America moved to California came all the way back here for him to do my hip surgery only person I will allow to do orthopedic surgery on my body or any of my family members

He was wonderful! Even came in early to get me in for my cortisone shot. He really cares about the patients and it shows. Will definitely come back if I have any other ortho issues.

I went in for one problem but had two more to share with Dr. Silverstein. As the other two were not his specialty, he recommended I see another doctor for each concern. I left the office with appointments for both for one week fro m now, as well as a plan for my main concern. Very pleased with Dr. Silverstein s as me his office staff.

I visited Dr. Silverstein 19 months after a Total Knee Replacement which went very well. This visit was because I thought I had injured the knee due to unusual strenuous activity. I was encountering some pain and swelling. After an xray and consultation Dr. Silverstein confirmed that there was no injury and I had just overdone it on the new knee. His patience and professionalism are without question, and I trust him and plan to have him replace the other knee when the time comes. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Silverstein was very empathetic concerning special circumstances I was dealing with. He was generous with his time and very attentive.

All employee including the doctor were nice and helpful.

All of the office staff in Columbia were very nice. Dr. Silverstein was awesome. He sat down & listened to info about my injury then did a very thorough exam. He explained what he found & even showed me the meniscus tear on my MRI, then explained his treatment plan & why he chose it. I felt like I was talking to a friend & never felt rushed. I would recommend him to everyone.

My experience was excellent. Dr. Silverstein was friendly and took the time to explain my x-rays and the planned treatment. He made sure I felt comfortable with the process.

Dr Silverstein seemed to listen to my explanation of where the radiating pain starts & why it is agonizing to walk. I think he may have diagnosed the problem correctly, although no resolution to my pain, but wait it out & come back in a month.

Dr. Silverstein was very personable on both of my visits - both before my upcoming shoulder surgery and at the first follow-up appointment. (tear in my labrum) In addition to being personable, I discovered that he had many years of experience and positive results with numerous patients. He also really helped me relax on the day of the surgery with his positive attitude.

Dr. Silverstein has a warm and genuinely solicitous manner. In addition, I trust his professionalism and expertise. I had to have rotator cuff surgery that he performed a number of years ago and regained full use of my shoulder.

My experience was excellent. Before I had to walk the dog slowly using a cane. Now we walk about 2 miles a day and she does a fast walk or trot the whole time. No pain it the knee and it is working great. I credit the ease of recovery with the exercises Dr. Silverstein set up well before the surgery so I was strong going in. He also has a great smile.

The doc replaced both my wifes hips and i am about to have him do mine because of the personal and professional demeanor he gives off i trust him hole heartedly.

He is a great doctor. He has helped my aching knees tremendously and is very understanding and personable. Have recommended him to friends.

Dr Silverstein is doing all he can to help my knees remain healthy and functional. He is always available when I need a shot or appointment. . I have been a patient for years.

They were able to work me for an appointment. My appointment was on time. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The doctor was very friendly, courteous, explained everything, and helped with my problem.

Trying to make my second appt with Dr Silverstein was a problem. They had just started a new system so my appt was like two weeks away and I needed an appt sooner. I left a message with his secretary and she called me right back and I got an appt within days. I was so happy with that, so thank you so much with that prompt phone call and appt

Dr. Scott Silverstein is always friendly, thorough. He is very easy to talk with as he will explain everything in details in plain English. He is an Excellent doctor that I would refer to everyone I know.

Dr. Silverstein and his staff are both professional and efficient. They answered all of my questions while in office or via electronic exchange and made me feel comfortable with my decision to have surgery. I would highly recommend if you have an injury that needs attention. They will offer and try many solutions to avoid surgery. Eldersburg office is clean, organized, and set-up to socially distance including hand sanitizers, signage, and electronic stand alone tempature monitor.

Dr. Silverstein and his staff have been treating my knee OA for the last several years. Dr. Silverstein is top-notch! Great guy, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He has always been on the forefront of new technologies and has offered me less invasive ways to treat my knee pain. The last few years I have been receiving Arthrex PRP injections in both knees and can honestly say it has helped me keep up with my 2 yr old son. I’d heard nothing but good things about Dr. Scott Silverstein and decided to seek his help. My wife and I were very impressed by the conservative route he chose to take. OACM is hands down the best orthopedic practice you will find in Maryland. I had labrum surgery on my shoulder with Dr. Silverstein and can't say enough good things about my experience. He is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person. At my very first visit I was impressed by how well the office was run and how caring all of the staff were. Dr. Silverstein reviewed my MRI and answered all of the questions that I had regarding my upcoming surgery. He was there for me every step of the way and continuously checked in on me to make sure that I was progressing after surgery. He recommended an excellent physical therapist who helped me to complete my rehab. I am now symptom free for the first time in years and have been able to return to all of the activities that I was unable to do when I was injured. After suffering knee pain on and off for several years, I finally decided I had to see someone. Being an active person, it was awful when I had days where hobbling around was the best I could do. A friend recommended Dr Silverstein who, at my first visit, prescribed a course of physical therapy (which made a believer out of me!!) and gave me a cortisone shot which worked pretty well for a short period of time. The arthritis in my knee didn't go away of course, but I did get stronger and my balance improved. In January, 2019, it was time for a total knee replacement on my pretty much shot knee. The surgery went great, and I was up and walking the same day. Within a week I had given up the walker, moved to a cane, and was able to go up and down a flight of stairs. Now I ride my bike (in my living room lol) five or six miles a day and walk a mile or two without pain. My son said I remind him of the me I was ten years ago! Thank you, Dr. Silverstein

He performed knee replacement surgery on both my knees and everything went well. He did everything to make sure surgery and recovery were successful with few as few problems as possible. Both knees work great! He is skilled and conscientious.

Great experiences with Dr. Silverstein. He took good care of my son through 2 ACL procedures and gave me a referral that saved my ability to walk.

My experience with Dr. Silverstein has been one that has been nothing less than perfect. He saw me for a bad knee and immediately told me the truth about the care I was recently receiving and how it really wasn’t helping me. My knee was shot! Dr. Silverstein got me in for surgery and had me up and walking the same day after surgery. The aftercare has been excellent. To see my progress since then has been remarkable. It wasn’t bad as I imagined at all. I would highly recommend him!

Not impressed with check in procedure at the kiosk. Process has taken more than 10 minutes and I still have to go to the front desk. Kiosk asks all the same questions I already answered on the portal. Waste of time.

He did my shoulder scope and cuff repair 6 months ago (and did my other shoulder 3 years ago). I couldnt be happier with the results. I'm back in the gym. He's a good guy and does great work. His secretary really helped with work paperwork. Thanks Erika!
