Before surgery Dr. Trenhaile explained fully the condition, the surgery process and my trust for a successful surgery.

He explains everything to you that show on his table top things that are wrong if things are wrong or right and he cares big time but your concerns

In pain 24/7 Unable to lift any weight above shoulders. I went from a needed reverse shoulder replacement surgery to 100% healed by the stroke of his pen. A decision Dr. Trenhaile made on behalf of the insurance agency and with disregard of my pain and suffering. I now have no income or job.

I would recommend Dr Trenhaile and his staff to anyone. I’m 6 months post rotator cuff repair and I’m nearly back to normal. I definitely credit his surgical skill for where I am today!

Everyone, at Ortho Illinois, was very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Trenhaile was amazing. His bio is impressive, but meeting him made everything that I read about him that much more impressive. Looking forward to have both of my shoulders replaced and getting back to a normal life.

Dr. Trenhaile spent a very productive time with me reviewing my x-rays and determining what my surgical procedure should be down the line. It was determined that I need a shoulder replacement, if the new surgery is anything like the last surgery I had two years ago I will be very pleased.

Came in with upper arm pain, believing it was a shoulder issue. Dr. Trenhaile examined me and went through some tests with me, determining that pain originated from cervical spine with referred pain in arm. Hence, ordering an MRI of that location. Spoke to me in clear terms with a listening ear.

Other than the fact he was running late my experience with him was worth the wait. He explained everything to me in terms that I could easily understand. He was friendly, answered all my questions, and he didn't rush in and out. Instead, he took the time to explain everything that he felt would be in my best interest to correct the problem. I would recommend him to any family member or friend of mine.

Dr Trenhaile did a rotator cuff repair for me. Couldn’t be happier with the procedure, the staff, or my recovery! The best!!

This is my second time with Dr. Trenhaile. He fixed my bum right shoulder two years ago, and it is strong and healthy. I am seeing him for my left shoulder now, and he is even more amazing. He is straightforward, prompt, no nonsense, compassionate, an effective listener/communicator, and realizes that you know your body best. Highly recommended!

Dr. Trenhaile and staff have been great through the entire procedure of repairing 4 badly torn mussels and rotator cuff. From initial visit to being released from care 4 months later, my experience has all been highly positive. Every appointment was on time, every call answered. All calls that were to be returned, returned in a very short period of time. Prescriptions filled right away. Orthoillinois is 80 miles away from my home. I’ve always received great care from Dr. Trenhaile and his team of practitioners and assistants. The office also seems to run very efficiently. I rarely deal with wait times or delays. If I have more sports related knee injuries (crossing fingers I don’t) Dr. Trenhaile is my go-to. He’s the best.

I was having shoulder pain. He made a diagnosis very quickly, effectively gave me a steroid shot which immediately lessened the pain and got me on a physical therapy track which has been most helpful. He's an expert in his field and has a nice bedside manner too. Thank you thank you Dr. Trenhaile!!!

Well wish I didn’t have to meet up with him under these circumstances. He did my shoulder surgery in Jan 2020. Was very pleased with the whole process, his staff was phenomenal and actually made me feel at ease and comfortable about my first surgery. I was impressed on how fast I got called back and it wasn't too long after the nurse was done with her job that the doctor came right in He was easy to talk to and explained to me what my MRI and X - rays showed. Love working with Dr. Trenhaile. He has been treating me for years and I have always felt like I am in the most capable hands to care for all my shoulder pain and injuries! He has always been so caring and very explanatory when I have had questions, he even drew a diagram of a shoulder on my sheets before surgery to reassure me. Most definitely the best in Rockford.
