Sean Louis Lager

Dr. Lager is a well known sports medicine provider who is understanding to patients needs and provides a plan to get you back on track with your daily activities.

Dr. Lager is clearly only looking after his own interests and is failing to uphold his Hippocratic oath. I was injured while at work and suffered significant damage which was evident in follow up X-Rays and MRI's. I have a herniated disc in my neck and back in addition to a tear in one of my shoulders. All of this confirmed via imaging tests that were readily available for review by Dr. Lager and his team but he didn't bother to look. He brought me in a room for 10 minutes and tapped on multiple areas of my body asking what my pain levels were. He then checked for range of motion and said I need to follow up with an Orthopedic surgeon knowing full well that my medical insurance is in limbo pending the conclusion of my workers comp case. He acknowledged in the office that I needed further treatment but in his report for the claim he completely contradicted himself. I think Dr. Lager is confused and believes it's a Hypocritic oath because that's what his actions indicate.

This doctor filed a review for my worker's compensation saying I did not need treatment for pain management claiming he had read all my medical history and recommending my benefits be cut off despite 31 years of pain and disability caused by denial of desperately needed spinal fusion. My surgery was delayed by my insurer for 15 months and then denied then my private insurance approved the surgery or I would have been bed ridden to this day. My doctors WHO HAVE EXAMINED ME TWICE WEEKLY AND REPORTED MY TRUE PROGRESS THANKS TO THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS, HAVE REPORTED MY PAIN LEVELS FAITHFULLY, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONTINUING WITH THE TREATMENTS RECOMMENDED because they obviously help me so much, BUT SEAN LEGER WHO HAS NEVER SEEN ME OR EVEN TALKED TO ME SAYS I DON'T NEED PAIN MANAGEMENT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR! HE APPARENTLY HAS NO CONSCIENCE AT ALL AND WILL SAY ANYTHING THE INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL PAY HIM FOR. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Dr. Lager was absolutely amazing! I was referred to him by my colleague who was also suffering from runners knee. Dr. Lager was very knowledgeable and was able to relate as he as well has ran marathons! I will definitely refer Dr. Lager to anyone that needs a sports doctor

Does not take time to treat the patient. Does not listen or read records properly causing misdiagnosis. I warn you to see someone else. This guy should have his license taken away. Unbelievable he’s aloud to treat anyone, he shouldn’t be allowed to diagnose a common cold.

Do not see him! He does not take care of his patients. He works for the insurance companies, not you and your injuries. He doesn’t even need to do an exam he already knows your fine. Find a new job!

Please when you go to dr Sean Lagar tape him Owcp paid him 7650 for 3 minutes exam , he was in my room less than 4 minutes , and less then for 4 minutes he decide what my life gone be , after 15!years of totally disability he decide I am not disable and I can go back to work I have everything on tape ,he told me he doen’t have my medical record .I will report , please don’t trust him , he is wolf in sheep’s clothing it’s not only he betraying injury people he scamming Owcp , 7650 for 4 minute work , he is fallen doctor he can’t have patient in his owns, so he is untruthful doctor , he is feed insurance company , worker’s compensation with lies so he can have more patients .when he became doctor he took a oat DO NOT HARM according to other patients rating he is harming many injury worker , I will press charges against him , and is special place in hell for doctors like him and I hope is special place in jail to , my name is Mira and I am not afraid to say that because I have him tape and I am telling the true , just please tape him, don’t trust him

poor bedside manner. incompetent.

Dr. Lager misdiagnosed my torn achilles. He told me that the tear was in a "very rare sport at the myotendinous junction" and that the tendon could not be repaired by surgery. He was very pessimistic and lead me to believe that even once it healed non surgically, that there would be a high risk of re-rupture. I got a second opinion from another doctor who stated that the tendon ruptured in a very normal spot and is ready to perform surgery. He was also extremely rude. Do not visit!!
