My husband fell and fractured his hip. While in the hospital, Dr. Rad was assigned to my husband and we had no prior experience with Dr. Rad. Dr. Rad performed hip replacement and fracture repair surgery on my husband Aug 2021. My husband went from pre-operative severe pain and unable to walk, to pain free and walking beautifully, sitting and standing, getting in and out of a car, and walking up a few steps in less than two weeks. Dr. Rad phoned me, the wife, twice, to keep me informed which is unlike any other physician we've encountered in Los Angeles, even with Covid hospital restrictions on family visits. Dr. Rad is Very Highly Recommended. Well deserving of 5 of 5 stars.

Dr. Rad replaced both of my hips through the anterior approach and I am doing great. I left the hospital in less than 24 hours each time. He gave me my life back. Thank you.

He is very thorough, and takes the time to explain the surgery in detail. He used computer navigation for my hip replacement, and I am very happy.

It wasn’t good at all, always his appointment wasn’t match as well.I had to stay more than one hour to reach him and go in . Also I could meet him just 5 min then a nurse just spend time with me and explain to me about my problem not doctor.

He is very knowledgeable and caring. I left the hospital a few hours after my hip replacement. He changed my life.

Dr Rad was the first the doctor to listen to me and figure out the problem. I had seen other surgeons before, and diagnosed me with wrong condition. I never improved until I saw Dr. Rad. I am very thankful my doctor referred me to him.

I was looking for the best hip replacement surgeon doctor in the Los Angeles area and I think I found the best one in the world. Doctor Rad is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I have ever in addition to being an excellent surgeon. I feel like I did in my 20's again after replacing my hip. Being in the medical profession for over 30 years, I am a good judge of other doctors and I don’t think you can find a better hip replacement specialist in LA.

Dr. Rad replaced both of my moms hip through the anterior approach. From day 1, she did great. She left the hospital the next day. Her pain was gone. We were glad that our doctor referred her to Dr. Rad. He answered all of our questions every time we saw him. Parking was difficult in his office, but having him as the surgeon makes up for it. His office staff is also excellent including his manager.

Thank you Dr. Rad for replacing both of my hips. I feel amazing, and without pain for the first time in many years. I highly recommend him if you need a hip replacement.

I had a hip replacement done by Dr. Rad through the anterior, and I am very pleased with the results. From the first consultation with him, I felt very comfortable. He did not push me into surgery and told all of my options. His staff is excellent and got the authorization and communicated with me the whole time. I highly recommend him and his office.

Dr. Rad fixed my meniscus recently. I am very happy with his care, and expertise.

Dr. Rad is a great surgeon. He did a knee arthroscopy to fix my meniscus. I used to have locking of my knee. After the surgery, it was fixed, and I am back to playing sports.

Dr. Rad was very professional and efficient in diagnosing my injury. He took his time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. Both the doctor and the receptionist were very kind. I got an appointment last minute and there was no wait time.

I saw Dr. Rad for my broken ankle. He performed surgery, and I have been seeing him ever since surgery. He is professional, calm, and has great bedside manners. I am glad my insurance referred me to him.

Dr. Rad recently did a left knee replacement on me. I am very happy with the results. I had my right knee replaced by another surgeon three years ago, and the recovery has been much easier with the left knee. I am lucky that my doctor referred me to Dr. Rad. He is very calm. He explained everything to me before surgery, and told me what to expect after. His staff is attentive, and his hospital PA was great.

Dr. Rad has done one of my hip replacements, and I scheduled for the other to be done soon. I am very happy with his work. I had years of hip pain, and Dr. Rad was able to get rid of it. I had hip problems as a child. My hip was not shaped right. The pain became so bad I couldn't walk. Dr. Rad replaced my hip. I was first told to go to UCLA since it was a tough surgery but since Dr. Rad was closer to my house, I went to him. I am glad I found him. He did a wonderful job on my hip replacement, and now I don't have pain anymore and can live a normal life.

I am 3 months post op for total hip replacement surgery and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Rad. He an excellent surgeon but he is also very personable too. A hard combination to find sometimes. He was very clear about everything before and after surgery. I had surgery on a Wednesday, went home on Thursday and was back at work on Monday. I can't believe I waited so long to get it done--I feel 100% better. I highly recommend Dr. Rad to anyone who needs hip surgery.

Dr. Rad performed such an excellent total hip replacement on my right hip. I have been walking without a cane for two weeks already. Lately, it's been approximately one mile a day. I recommend Dr Rad with 100%. Dr Rad is such a fabulous and intelligent surgeon. He was worth the long wait to see him!

Dr. Rad is incredible. He is a highly trained surgeon, but is also very approachable and cares about patient problems. He is a very patient and listens to problems before recommending solutions. His office runs a very tight ship, and his office is very helpful when it comes to reminders about appointments or questions on your insurance. I have seen him a few times for my knee, and rather than recommending surgery, he did stem cell injection and got rid of my pain.

Dr. Rad performed a total hip replacement on my right hip. I am only in my fifties, and I was really scared. The entire staff helped me to feel comfortable and less stressed about the whole thing, because they were so kind and efficient. Dr. Rad himself did an amazing job, and is very comforting! I was back to work, driving, and my Yoga class at two weeks. The only pain medicine I used was Tylenol. I cannot recommend Dr. Rad enough. I am so grateful!!

I am a physician (urologist) myself. I did my research and chose Dr. Rad! He replaced my hip and I was walking the same day, and out of the hospital the next day. I was driving and walking without a cane 8 days later . He has great skills, and even better bedside manners. The hospital is also wonderful!

In June of this year, I had a total hip replacement that was done by Dr. Rad. From the moment I met him at the initial consultation, I knew that I had the right doctor. He was positive and reassuring from the beginning. The afternoon of the surgery, I was up and walking. The day after surgery I was on my way home. If I didn't know any better I would think that I never had a problem with my hip. It took months to get an appointment with him, but the wait was worth it.

I had a knee replacement by Dr. Rad 2 months ago and could not be more please. I was off crutches in a few days, and without pain. My pain has not felt this good in years. He is not only a great surgeon, but has excellent bedside manners. I went to him after seeing another surgeon who is "famous". The other surgeon unlike Dr. Rad, spent a few minutes with me, didn't examine me, and told me I need surgery. Dr. Rad, took his time to explain all the options, and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Rad replaced my right knee after trying everything else including injections, therapy, cane. I could not take the pain anymore, and decided I need surgery. I did my research, and found he is best qualified to do the knee replacement. I am glad, I found him! He is caring, takes the time to explain everything, and is a wonderful surgeon. I was able to walk immediately after the surgery, and left the hospital the next day. I stopped using a cane, and happier than ever.

Dr. Rad did anterior hip replacement on me in May 2017. I have no complaints, and feel great. I highly recommend him to anyone who was told they need to have a hip replacement.

I had a consultation today with Dr. Rad and he was so incredibly kind, patient, and generous with his time in helping me understand the surgery I might need and what to expect. He talked me through the procedure, prognosis, and risks involved without pushing me one way or another. I felt comfortable making a decision to have the hip replacement.
