Great experience with Dr. Montes and her staff! I had a lot of questions and they took the time to answer them all.

Having been a patient of Dr. Montes for many years, I continue to feel I have been treated with the utmost care by her and the entire staff each and every visit. Most recent visit was no exception. I am happy to share my experience and my appreciation to Dr. Montes and her staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Montes office since March 7th 2019. Dr. Montes is highly qualified, very experienced and passionate about her job and her patients. I have selected Dr. Montes because my case is very difficult. I needed 4 implants due to having teeth that were extracted as far back as 25 years ago. Thus, my gums were changed, deformed and needed very serious care. Dr. Montes devised a special approach in the treatment. Dr Montes is an amazing and considerate surgeon. In our first meeting she explained my condition and her plan of treatment. She took time to answer all my questions. Each appointment when I see Dr. Montes she makes me feel like the most important person in her life. She always strives to satisfy any concerns brought to her attention. It has reduced my stress. I’ve found that it is very pleasant to communicate with her and with her very professional, caring and dedicated assistants Lisa and Gretta. During surgery Dr. Montes and her two assistants Lisa and Greta always make a great team. They are gentle, caring and listen thoroughly to my concerns before, during, and after surgery. I think Dr. Montes is one of the best doctors I have had in my life. She has overcome all the obstacles encountered in my very difficult case. As a result, I have my four implants now and am ready for orthopedic work. She has provided highly qualified treatment and all four of my implants were successfully implemented in my mouth. I have been impressed by how friendly and positive everyone is in Dr. Montes office. It helped me a lot to feel comfortable and less stressful during my one year of treatment. I want to recognize Donna Kay. She always cares about patients and their needs to ensure that everything runs smoothly in the office. She answered many of my questions about insurance and helped me to find the best way to optimize my expenses working with my insurance company. Overall, I strongly recommend Dr. Montes if you need implants or any other gum related treatment. She is thoughtful, caring, experienced and she presents all options to find the best treatment plan for her patients.

My first visit to Dr. Montes for an initial periodontal checkup was exceptional. I had early periodontal disease many years ago and wanted to be evaluated since I was starting to have issues again. Her staff was very professional and warm and friendly. They were welcoming and very informative as to what to expect and thoroughly reviewed by dental history and medical history. While Dr. Montes had received my prior x-rays from my regular dentist she had additional ones taken to clarify some possible issues showing on the old x-rays. She gave me a thorough oral exam and explained the current condition of my teeth/gums and what was needed going forward to prevent additional bone loss. It was suggested that I go on a maintenance plan and would be instructed as to how to better maintain my teeth and gums which I certainly agreed to do. I am very satisfied at the thoroughness of the exam, the maintenance program and the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Montes and her staff. I would certainly recommend her for anyone needing periodontal work.

At my initial consultation appointment, Dr Montes evaluated and explained the condition of my gums, explained the crown lengthening procedure needed, and took the time to answer all my questions. Was told $2500 would be covered by my insurance and I would pay $1000 out of pocket. Was then rendered the service and later billed for the $2500. My insurance company says they’re not even an accepting provider. They knew it wouldn’t be covered before rendering the service. Do not go to them!

Today's gum graft procedure went very well. Lisa and Dr. Montes were very professional and yet very solicitous of me and my concerns (having to go potty so many times...that gas is VERY relaxing!) The entire staff is not only very friendly, they are also respectful of my time and any issues or concerns I have. Everything went exactly the way Dr. Montes told me it would at my consultation visit. She is honest, direct and it's obvious she cares about her patients. Been going to Dr. Montes for about 18 years. She basically save my teeth, getting to her before they were beyond help. I've been going Dr. Montes for several years now and her, along with her staff, have completely ruined me for other dental care providers. I like using businesses with low staff turnover. In my opinion it shows competency and pragmatism. Today I got in around 10 minutes early and they took me right in. When I left they said "We'll bill your insurance and let you know if you owe us anything." I like that. Once I was having trouble getting my convertible top up when leaving the office and one of the staff came out to push buttons while I fiddled with the roof. I like that too.

Bad habits in my twenties blessed me with periodontal disease, which has waxed and waned as a problem for most of four decades, now. I've had two visits with Montes Periodontics, and I am very impressed. Dr. Montes is busy, practical, and serious, and what she is serious about is your periodontal care. She gave me a straightforward assessment, a solid program for home care, and the tools to be effective, and stay ahead of the problem. I was eager to leave a review after my first visit, but I wanted to meet the hygienist. Latoya was just wonderful. She has strong, gentle hands that really know their business, a light touch and a very professional manner. She is quite friendly and personable without being chatty, and like every one I have met at the office, she is very knowledgeable and eager to share what she knows, seems very concerned about great periodontal care, during the visit and after you get home.
