Dr. Shelly Deann Rice

I will not be back to Shelly Rice. I spent a month and a half trying to get fitted for the right lenses. She couldn’t even get me into the right prescription. I left the office the final time with 20/30 vision. The staff in the front of the office are unfriendly as well. Overall, it took forever to get in, and I couldn’t get closure as far as the right prescription for my eyes.

I should have NEVER 2nd guessed myself. I just got the worst pair of glasses in over 40yrs. The doctor exam was good, but when it was time for my eye glass fitting and I tried to explain in detailed what I needed because it's not common, I was told " I've been doing this for over 10yrs I know what you need". I should of walked out then. Now I'm stuck with a pair of glasses I want wear out in public. All because of a person that thought "she know what I need"... For me it was the worst glass fitting I've ever had in my 43yrs of wearing glasses... No matter who it is and how much experience a person has never 2nd guess yourself. I have seen Dr. Rice for many years. She has always been very professional and has done an excellent job. The employees have been great helping me choose glasses and getting them fitted. I would highly recommend this office.

I have been going to Dr. Rice for many years. She is very thorough. She and her staff have fitted me with stylish glasses, the perception has always been perfect for my vision. I also take my elderly Mother to her. She says that no one except Dr. Rice has ever able to get her glasses adjusted so she can see. I would highly recommend her. I have been using Dr. Rice for several years. I have bought several pairs of glasses from her that I love! She is also the only one who has been able to completely correct my very bad vision with contacts. Different doctors I'd been to were unable to get my bad astigmatism corrected with lenses well enough to drive at night so I was constantly seeing huge halos around lights while driving. She and her staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend her to anyone needing glasses or contacts. My husband also is very happy with the way she has corrected his vision and he actually enjoys wearing the glasses he has gotten from her over the past few years. I was having a hard time reading medication labels and other small print. Dr Rice had me in and out of the office in no time. She is very professional and did several different things to check my eyes since I am diabetic. I would recommend her office to anyone who has any kind of eye care need.
