I met with Family Nurse Practitioner Amanda Doll in Dr. Sheth's office today. I am having difficulty getting a good diagnosis for my problems. Her intake was very thorough. She was kind, patient, professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. She has scheduled tests that I believe have a good chance of identifying a problem some past doctors have dismissed as "old age". I am extremely hopeful that I will now get some answers. All the staff there were friendly, helpful, and courteous.

I had been to two other sleep doctors in the Sentara system, and felt they didn't take the time to understand my particular issues. Dr. Sheth did a great job of listening and asking what I thought were really good questions. I like his staff as well. They are caring. The office seems to be well-run and efficient. Had EMG today. He is very patient and was sensitive to my anxiety about having the procedure done. Guided me through it with ease and the procedure wasn't as bad as I had expected. He answered all of my questions and I highly recommend using him if you need an EMG. Also, his staff are very nice and polite.

Ok for my nuerology appts. Didn’t really ask any follow up questions after putting me on a newly fda approved medication but answered all my questions quick and to the point. I would recommend for minor issues or people who can go to their visits with an advocate to help them ensure they get all their questions answered

He is god given for my sleep problem

I have epilepsy and I was seeing Dr. Sheth for over a year. I only saw her twice, I was only seeing her RN and during the two visits she would be standing and seemed in a hurry. she switched me to a new medication that worsened my seizures and gave me terrible side effects psychically and psychologically, and every time i complain about these side effects she would prescribe me antidepressants and pain killers that only made my symptoms worse. she never bothered to see me, misdiagnosed my sympto

I'm an easy patient- so easy that some doctors and family think that I don't care about my medical issues. That's not the case. It's just that I don't panic and demand that my doctors "do something right now." That's the way Dr. Sheth is. He's a straight shooter- "This is the diagnosis. This is the prognosis. If you want a lot of attention, I'll set you up, but if you want to keep an eye on this, I'm here for you." Easy. I trust him and appreciate his calm approach to the issues.

Just got out of my first appointment, geez I am so happy I found a doctor who will take the time to sit down and explain to me what is going on!!! He switched up everything I was been doing to make this better and more personalized for me. I can tell that he is going to be an amazing doctor

I would rate him a zero except that he was on time. That's it manner is crap, does not listen to the patient and dismisses the patients input as ignorance .

Doesn't listen to the issues. Has a predetermined thought on diagnosis. Told me it was all in my head.
