This dr supposivly specializes in addiction care with medicated assisted treatment as a suboxone provider. He is very biased and blatantly disrespectful to anyone with addiction issues. I’ve been a patient with him for years and have never gave him or his practice a hard time. I’m a responsible recovering addict with epilepsy and severe panic disorder and he refuses to give me fair medical care because he has me pinned as a scummy drug addict which I’ve never ever gave him reason to treat me like this...all my urine tests are always clean. I recently have been battling with paralyzing panic attacks again that lead to severe depression agoraphobia suicidal thoughts and recently had another seizure and was hoping my primary dr of 10yrs plus would be able to help me I’m on my last rope here... but instead he was very disrespectful calling me a liar and telling me to get my meds off the street like I used to do when I abused opiates. I’m at a loss. Idk where to turn and hate to verbalize this but I don’t think I can keep pushing thru this hell that is my mental health. I don’t wanna get high I just wanna be a normal functioning citizen but this is keeping me from being able to integrate into society. Is this my reality? Because I got hooked on pain killers legally now I’m refused adequate medical attention? this a cry for help before I just end up giving up all together because of this torture of me trying to cope. I see him next week I’m recording our conversations from here on out to show oasis he is a just a disrespectful fraudster not caring whatsoever about his patients, all we are is insurance money to him. Like today He called me a liar and drug seeker when I mentioned suicide but I was just being honest because I’m not making threats I’m actually scared that the anxiety and everything that comes with it is going to push me there. Beware of this dr. Don’t expect to be treated as a human if your looking to get into his suboxone program. Your just his paycheck overcharging for your cheap Cvs drug tests and writing a weeks worth script so he can charge insurance weekly for his scam of a service. sending you on your way no matter what else going on. He is my primary doctor and over the past year he has become very unprofessional (calls me "baby"), holds medications hostage, doesn't refill meds in a timely fashion and does not communicate test results or return phone calls in a timely fashion. He has for some reason taken a personal dislike to me yet won't discharge me from his practice. Very judgemental

His office canceled four times on me. When I told them that I did not want to see the nurse they gave me an appointment a mounth out. I sent then an Email telling them they were not my Primary care any moor.. I was given a bill for $75 for missed visit.

I have now visited Urgent Care in Delmar NY (Dr. Soloman Fuhrman Private Practice) twice in the last year. Both times he was not present at all. He is very rarely at this office and most likely you will be told when checking in, that a Nurse Practitioner "Mary" would seeing you . Mary is not even an RN. Mary does NOTHING at all....... expect waste your time!!!

Advertise as a walk in office. Last time I waited over 90 minutes and wasn't warned that the wait would be long. Dr. Fuhrman was rude, abrupt and uninterested. As a teacher of 25 students, 6 with strep throat, 2 with a URI and many other students in the building also sick I was naturally concerned about me sore throat and cough. I take medication that suppresses my immune system to control my MCTD. Dr. Fuhrman looked at my throat for 15 sec and said you're fine and walked out.
