Dr. Deben diagnosed my problem and immediately explained my options. Her medical professional experience and sincere support allow me to make a lifelong decision for my knee injury. I followed her advice. Surgery, including recommendation of physical therapy and consuming vitamins supplements for rehabilitation. It has worked out really well, and I can feel and see the results. Never again I will go to visit this office and the doctor Deben as they rejected to me my appointment without any real reason. Even with my referral they didn't accept the authorization from my primary care who works in Baptist. Amazing doctor , I will recommend her 1000%

I waited in the waiting room for two hours, even though I had an appointment. When I went to the X-ray room the technician lady looked at me from head to toes twice and while she was doing the X-rays she was even cursing. The doctor's assistant was insanely rude and then the doctor says that I have to learn to live with the pain but at least I wouldn't die like if it was cancer. I will never step one foot again in this office.

Doesn't answer text messages and a little arrogant. She might be a good surgeon but, very little compassion quality for the elders and that's very sad; she'll be one an old lady soon and God know what her future will hold for her. Good luck

This place is the best place to go to for any injury . The nurses are great , the assistants are awesome, and all the doctors there are top notch.

In all my long years of doctor visits, i have never had the pleasure , compassion and fine doctoring as i have had with Dr Sophia, Debe., Finally someone who listened and took care of the problem,, Easy to contact, a staff who goes the extra mile (lena) combined with a terrific physician has given me back hope for the future,,,

Dr. Deben is the Wonder Woman of Ortho Surgery. She has a strong personality and rules the OR. She did not sugar coat the expectations of the procedure and delivered on all of them. Dr. Deben reflects her knowledge on her field and has great empathy. Office staff is attentive and professional.

Llegué con mi pie entero, sin heridas, fractura de cuatro metatarsos, con inflamación por el trauma, me asignaron a la Dra. Sophia Deben a través de un “Urgent care”, la mayor desgracia de mi vida y la peor decisión. Lo que se resolvía en una cirugía se me convirtió en 10, tratando de corregir cada error e intentar cortarme el pie sin ningún miramiento, al verla sentía que estaba aprendiendo y daba cuchilla como si estuviera en una carnicería, no le preocupó mi sufrimiento ni dolor (no así para algunos pacientes), me saturó el pie de metales en exceso, 23 tornillos y 4 láminas, lo cual tiende a tener dificultad para la irrigación sanguínea, la soldadura de los huesos y la cicatrización; con 16 tornillos sobraba para alinear los metatarsos y evitar cualquier complicación. Me puso un yeso que me comprimió el pie y terminó necrotizando la piel. Desconoce de los procedimientos a seguir en las distintas situaciones y cuando la confrontas sale con escusas o se altera y te manda a callar. El pie literalmente se me empezó a podrir y comenzó a extenderse por todo mi cuerpo. Tuvieron que sacar hueso de la cadera y carne y piel del muslo para reconstruirme el pie. Meses de sufrimiento en una cama donde tenía casi una cirugía por mes, eso me trajo otros padecimientos por todo los medicamentos las anestesias generales y el trauma psicológico. No lleva en memoria el historial de sus pacientes y en las consultas tienes que recordarle o rectificarle lo sucedido en cirugías o citas anteriores. Y no hablo solo por mí, conocí a varios pacientes y piensan igual que yo, un desprestigio para una profesión tan humana que personas como ella la corrompen. Conozco veterinarios que hacen mejores trabajos y tratan mejor a los animales. Pésima doctora, no sabe tratar con clientes y menos con pacientes, no tiene preocupación por estos, no permite que la cuestionen. Muy mala ética médica y laboral de la cual parece que no tiene conocimiento del “Juramento Hipocrático” Como especialista sus conocimientos dictan mucho que desear.

Como se dice ser doctora?!, si no tiene ética médica ni moral para tratar con pacientes, simplemente una persona estafadora sin escrúpulos ni conocimientos y capaz ni estudios médicos. Lo que supuestamente se resuelve en una cirugía ella la convierte en diez, según tratando de corregir cada error o cortarte el pie sin ningún miramiento, parece que está aprendiendo y da cuchilla como si estuviera en una carnicería, no le preocupa tu sufrimiento ni dolor, te satura el pie de metales y tornillos (lo cual es lucrativo para ella) lo cual tiende a tener dificultad para la irrigación sanguínea la soldadura de los huesos y la cicatrización, me colocó un yeso después de la cirugía comprimiéndome el pie y necrotizando la piel. Desconoce de los procedimientos a seguir en situaciones, la confrontas sale con escusas o se altera y manda a callar. Un desprestigio para una profesión tan humana que personas como ella la corrompen. Conozco veterinarios que hacen mejores trabajos y tratan mejor a los animales. Dr. Deben has attended my mother for two different issues with wonderful results after each surgery. She is sharp, patient-focused and has wonderful bedside manners.

I was having terrible ankle pain for years and I went to see Dr. Deben. She immediately knew my problem and recommended a PRP injection. I had it done and did some therapy and my ankle feels better than ever. She took great care of me from the first day we met and I can now walk and run after my kids pain free. Thank you, Dr. Deben!

Dr Deben is amazing! She had the best best care routine for my broken foot. I feel so much better after her care. She is vigilant, very caring and extremely honest and knowledgeable. Sophia Deben was not on time, my appointment was at 8:30 am and she arrived at the clinic at 9:17 am, I was attended at 9:40 am. She was not patient with me. I am not going back and I do not recommend her.

Yesterday I saw Dr. Deben for the first time. She was very thorough, explained the options and provided the good, bad and ugly details required to make an informed decision.

Amazing doctor and staff. I broke my foot and have been going through this process without insurance and everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable. Came to Dr. Deben for emergency foot surgery after smashing my big toe...8 weeks later, not only am I walking, i'm back into my active lifestyle (kitesurfing, jiu Jitsu, chasing my 3 kids around, etc). I developed a very pain and debilitating case of tendinitis in my ankle one week before I was schedule to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Dr. Deben provided me with a treatment plan that had me out of a walking boot 3 days before my climb and on top of the mountain 4 days later. I have been spraining my ankles since childhood. As I aged I was on crutches at least once a year because of my ankles. When I got into my 40's, I felt I was constantly walking on a sprained ankle. When I lived in New Mexico, I saw a specialist and they made leg braces for me which I wore for many years. As I saw more doctors, I was only being offered ankle fusions. I did not want to lose the motion of my ankle or mobility of my leg. I like to hike and do outdoor activities. So I just sufffered. I used a scooter at work and could barely walk. When I moved to Florida after retirement, a friend recommended Dr. Sophia Deben for a total ankle replacement. After six specialists, she was the only one that said " if you don't fix the foundation, the ankle replacement will fail ." My feet had been flat all my life and looked like pancakes. She offered me a total ankle replacement as a two-part surgery. The first part to fix my flatfoot. The second to put in the total ankle replacement. I do not even notice I have an artificial ankle. It's superb. I have a new lease on life. I have no pain. I recently travelled to Arctic to see the Northern Lights. My ankle did not give me any trouble at all. She has gone on to fix my left foot as well. I am able to walk because of Dr. Deben. I cannot recommend her enough. She is a wonderful person and a great surgeon. I saw Dr Deben 4 months ago for bad pain in the upper part of my gluteus. She stayed in my room literally 5 minutes. She said that I had a piriformis muscle inflammation and she took an xray. I heard when she told to a medicine student that I had two vertebras moved out of place. She recommended phisical therapy and ibuprofen of 800 mg (just because I asked her for some painkiller) . Here I'm 4 month later same pain and bad pain in low lumbar after the physical theraphy. Never again.

Uffffff, what a Doctor.!! First things first. Went to her office at North Miami Beach, did not have to wait much, the staff is Super Great and Super nice, X Rays were on the go even before seeing the doctor, they do this because I already put what was going on with me on a sheet of paper, so why bother again. After X Rays a Doctor did a Pre Observation and then she came in. I honestly thought I need it surgery of a Spur on my right foot, but she said "Negative" what you need is a boot. Done

Dr. Deben conducted foot surgery on me while I was serving in the military. Her incompetence or at least lack of follow-up led me leaving the service with excruciating pain when I walk, more so than prior to surgery. I'm shocked she's still practicing and feel hurt how a medical professional can drastically impact one's life without consequences. Even if just consciously awareness of opening flesh of another human without concern of their well being after that synthetic manipulation.

Dr Deven is an amazing doctor. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She is knowledgeable and cares about her patients. Thank you for always giving me a great experience :)

Dr Deben cares & spends time to understand your mobility/sports goals, then advises on several treatment options, incl surgery. Comprehensive approach. She gently guides you to the best plan. On surgery day she's cheerful and damn good at what she does. Post-op visits were helpful. I'm 6 months out and fully appreciate what she did to improve my quality of life.

Dr. Deben changed my life in the best possible way with her proper diagnosis and treatment. She accurately diagnosed that I needed surgery and told me that after a few months of recovery and therapy I would be able to go back to dance. I had my surgery a year ago and I'm so happy to say that I'm better than ever. Not only am I doing 2+ hours of daily exercise but a few days ago I became certified as a Zumba instructor. Thank you Dr. Deben, I will be forever thankful to you!
