I had the best visit today as a new patient to the office and Dr. Champlin. The front office staff were so kind and helpful as well as nurse, Tyna. Dr. Champlin never once spoke over me or rushed me. He listened to all of my worries and concerns and professionally answered my questions with great detail. I was super impressed and highly recommend Dr. Champlin!! Dr. Champlin is always kind, patient, and understanding. He takes his time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explains everything. I never feel rushed. I have been seeing Dr. Champlin for over ten years and highly recommend him.

Every time I go to my Doctor I have a wonderful visit. He is. warm , caring , and very compassionate . Very easy to talk to about problems you may be having a good go to with referrals and an excellent surgeon and that why I Love him and would recommend him to anyone who wants a great gynecologist who cares about you and your needs.

Everything about Dr Champlin and the team is first class. So patient and knowledgeable. Very trusting

By far the BEST doctor. There is no better in my opinion. He takes time to listen and address all concerns. No other doctor, of any specialty, ranks higher than him!

Dr. Champlin became my doctor after Dr.Benny Nobles retired. I am so glad to have Dr. Champlin as my doctor. He is very personable and professional. I feel very comfortable with being in his care. A younger doctor with old school ways. Where care comes first that's what I like about Dr Champlin.

Truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients and an all around great guy. Easily can create comfortability. For women who have bad luck with doctors or finding one to keep, choose Champlin.

Dr. Champlin is the greatest OBGYN! My husband and I both could not be happier with the level of care and personalized attention we received from Dr. Champlin during my pregnancies and post pregnancy. As one of his OB patients, Dr. Champlin ensured I was able to access him any time, any day. With his personal cell # and pager # provided to me, I could text or page him with any questions or urgent matters. Dr. Champlin performed 2 of my 3 c-sections. I never felt more comfortable undergoing surgery than I did under his care. He is a remarkable physician and I highly recommend him and the staff at EJGH for any expecting mothers. Dr. Champlin is the best doctor I have ever had. He’s a very professional, caring, compassionate and kind doctor. He was very personable and attentive.

Can’t find bedside manner better than his! Always listens to concerns and very thorough at visits. I never feel rushed or leave without answers.

Worst experience with a Dr I’ve ever had after going to him for years something changed. I was told there would be a $40 fee for cancelled appointments even though I never cancelled. On a phone call trying to work out when I needed to come in he told me if I cancelled I could just come get my records because he would no longer treat me. Again, I had never cancelled. ( he admitted later he was looking at the wrong chart). On the same phone call he told me that it was urgent I come in because what I had going on could turn into cancer. He told me this for the first time, over the phone, while I was driving. I went to the appointment he insisted on and scared me into and when he walks in he said “what brings you in today?” I lost it. He didn’t even look at my chart before coming in. So urgent but he didn’t know why I was there. I got my records that day and never went back. I felt like it was all just to get me to go more often and pay more money. I had a high risk pregnancy and I can be a difficult person, but I am so grateful for Dr. Champlin and his office. These are stressful times and they are working so hard for pregnant and non pregnant women in this Covid Era. If anything seemed off he sent me to L&D which seemed frustrating at the time, but my baby boy came safe and healthy. I had also dealt with a loss prior and always felt listened to when I had a concern. Thank you! I had a high risk pregnancy and I can be a difficult person, but I am so grateful for Dr. Champlin and his office. Best doctor ever.

Seriously the best doctor ever! I relocated from Chicago last year and was nervous about finding a new gyno especially during my pregnancy, but Dr. Champlin hands down has provided the best care I’ve ever received. I’m so grateful!

Dr. Champlin is an amazing doctor. He takes time to not just to explain things but also goes out of his way just to ask how you are, etc. He really cares about his patients. Been going to him for years. 10/10 reccomend him to anyone looking for an OB.

Love his staff and love him . He is very down to earth,easy to talk to and just awesome. I am so glad I choose him with my last pregnancy. If you want a doctor that is going to treat you with respect and listen to your concerns without making you feel less of a woman then Dr. Champlin is the best choice in my opinion.

I have been a patient of Dr. Champlin for 23 years, and he is an amazing doctor. He cares about his patients and is very passionate about what he does. Excellent physician! Dr. Champlin helped me through 2 difficult pregnancies where I had hyperemesis gravidarum. Being a nurse for 26 years, I have never witnessed a physician more dedicated to his patients, sympathetic, and caring. He goes over and beyond to make his patients comfortable. Highly recommend Dr. Champlin!

Dr. Champlin is the best Doctor ever!!! If I had to pass up 10 hospitals to get to doctor Champlin I will. He's the only doctor that can deliver my kids.

I had to have surgery do to Uterine fibroids. And i was scared. But Dr Champlin and his staff made me feel so comfortable. He's very gentle and concerned about your health. I had a one day surgery and was up walking around a few hours later.Thanks to Dr.Champlin and his wonderful staff.GOD BLESS YOU..

Dr Champlin is amazing, I have been going to him for 10 years now. He have delivered all 3 of my healthy kids, I go to him for all my female needs instead of my PCP. Very friendly and puts your concerns about things at ease.

Wonderful doctor! Very knowledgeable & incredibly compassionate. Took excellent care of me throughout my pregnancy, delivery AND after. Highly recommend this doctor to all of my friends.

Dr Champlain delivered both of my children . He tied my tubes. Je did my hysterectomy.He has helped me through a miscarriage. He is the best doctor there is. He spends ample time with you. I've never felt rushed. He makes sure all questions are answered.. He even took time out of his busy schedule to call me two days in a row after my miscarriage to personally check on me. I trust this man with my life 100%

I really love dr. Champlin, I've only seen him once for my yearly visit. But he was a knight in shining armor compared to my last obgyn who I saw at ochsner. She was a nightmare! Dr. champlin does not use his position to talk down to you and be an a**hole. He is very caring, loves his patients, and even if you talk down about yourself or your situation he is always building you up. He's encouraging and your biggest fan no matter what. I wouldn't dream of getting a new obgyn, and I feel very lucky as a young female to have found him. When I saw him we discussed weight loss where I said I'd need to lose weight to get pregnant and he said no I didn't! He gave me a diet plan and was so helpful! I saw him in feb, so I'll see him again soon, I know he'll be so thrilled to see I've lost 85lbs!!! He is the idea of a perfect doctor! I can't praise him enough !! I really love dr. Dr. Champlin has been my OB for over 15 years. I can't say enough good things about his quality of care and knowledge. He really cares. I've been through loss, a successful pregnancy and now a high risk pregnancy with Dr. Champlin and his level of care during these times has been invaluable. He's the best.

I was recently treated by Dr.Champlin at EJGH in labor and delivery. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and expecting twins,went to ER due to a large amount of contractions. He took such great care of me. I am very impressed by his bed side manner, he seems very empathic and knowledgeable. Most importantly he listened to me and checked on me during my stay. I must mention he isn't even my OBGYN and most likely going to switch to him as my OBGYN. Wish I had him since the very beginning of my pregnancy.

Dr Champlin is an excellent provider. Shows quality care with his patients. Last Nov 2015 he delivered my child as a new patient and new to the area, I couldn't have asked for a better OB....

He spends time, very knowledgable, and makes sure I understand and more importantly that he is understanding me correctly.

Dr. Champlin got me through a difficult pregnancy and a premature birth. He was patient, empathetic, kind, and kept me well informed. I had a hospital stay of approximately 3 weeks and he checked in on me at least twice a day and never made me feel like any question was too small or not important.

Dr. Champlin was my Dr. through my pregnancy and delivered my baby girl in Jan. To this day, I praise him every time I talk about my experience with him and the EJ staff. I had never had a male OB before and I was a little nervous about moving to NOLA from Baton Rouge... but as soon as we met him, he eased my fears and made me very comfortable. Dr. Champlin never made me feel like I was being rushed, he showed genuine concern for my baby and I, and he never made me feel stupid.. even after tons of questions. During my labor he was compassionate and I had complete confidence in him. I loved him so much! We have since moved to Dallas and if I ever get pregnant again, it would almost be worth it to move back to NOLA just to have him again! If I could give him, his staff, and the EJ labor and delivery nurses more than 5 stars I would. .because they deserve 100!
