First time meeting johnson and he listened to me and offered a game plan he understood what I was saying

This is my second go around with Dr. Johnson. I really like how he sees you as his only patient at that time. He listens to your concerns and goes over plans to help better your situation. He takes time to explain everything and has great people skills.

Dr. Johnson did extensive repair to my shoulder two months ago including five procedures. He was highly recommended to me by other medical professionals. Although it was painful after surgery, my shoulder is healing well and I could not be happier with the results! I believe he did an outstanding job and am so very grateful for his care and expertise. I highly recommend him, the Athens Orthopedic Surgery Center and his staff.

Dr. Johnson saw me relative to a knee issue. After showing me the xray, he explained his diagnosis very understandably. Did what he could to ease my pain and set the procedures in place to discuss my issues with a surgeon specializing in knees.

I first saw one of the PAs. Upon arriving for my appointment, they took an Ex ray of my knee.after determining nothing was broken and my knee looked in fairly good shape, they made me an appointment for a MRI to determine exactly what was wrong. As I had a couple tears in my meniscus, my options and procedures were thoroughly explained to me. I chose to have the surgery. I was given a cortisone injection to help until My surgery appointment. I am six weeks out now and have already had two follow up visits. I have one more scheduled next month, but was told when the time comes if I don’t feel like I need it, just cancel. I am presently in PT and am very pleased with my results there as well. I did not recover as quickly as I had hoped, but am back to being active now, gardening, walking, and most of the things I used to enjoy doing. Overall, it’s been a good experience.

Very pleased with consultation with Dr. Johnson. Very professional and answered all my questions.

Dr Stephen Johnson is the most amazing orthopedic Dr around. Very good bedside manners and very atterintve to the needs of his patients along with his nurse practitioners Brian Baldwin. Well continue to go to AOC when necessary.

I have been seeing Dr Stephen Johnson for years. His treatment has allowed me to remain active as I have gotten older and I am so thankful for his understanding and empathetic nature. I simply don’t know where I would be physically without him and Athens Orthopedic

After almost a year of struggling with lower back/tendinitis/piriformis issues, I finally went to see Dr Johnson. He truly listened and ordered new tests. I left his office knowing I’m in great hands and on the right track to healing and better days ahead!

Dr. Johnson is very professional. He goes over your test results with you, ask how you've been doing since your last visit, wants to know if there's been any changes in your condition and best of all he doesn't push an unnecessary surgery on you. He really cares about his patients.

Extremely professional, yet warm personal care.

Dr. Johnson is very knowledgeable and professional and at the same time understanding and concerned about you and what’s best for you. He has treated my overuse injuries as an ultra runner and cyclist. He has done wonders for my knees, Achilles’ tendon, bursa, and now pubic ramus bone. I will not see another OD. Dr. Johnson is the very best.

DR. Stephen B. Johnson is a incredible Physician and Surgeon. His bed side manner is second to none. He truly cares for his patients and it shows. It’s unfortunate that I had to meet this man do to an injury but I am glad I did.

I’ve had extensive shoulder repair followed years later by reverse shoulder replacements 2020 and 2021.

Received the very best of diagnosis and care. Would unconditionally recommend.

Dr Steve Johnson is great at shoulder replacement. He did my right shoulder and will do the left one when needed.

I have had two surgeries done by Dr. Stephen Johnson. He is a great surgeon and cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

I’ve been a patient of Dr S. Johnson for some time. He’s always professional, patient with all my questions and concerned that I’m in agreement with his plan of treatment. On my last visit, they went out of their way to get an insurance authorization, that day, for an injection that was a spur of the moment treatment decision. I was very thankful that I didn’t have to return another day to get the treatment. Best of all, my pain has been greatly relieved by the care I’ve received from AOC.

He was amazing at getting back to work on the ambulance. Very down to earth.

I trust Dr. Johnson and have referred him to lots of my family and friends. I arrived to my appointment early and by the time my appointment was, I was seen by the doctor, decisions were made for my care, and I was on my way back home!! I had Dr. Johnson do surgery on my shoulder and haven’t had any problem with it since. I would absolutely wholeheartedly recommend him and his staff if you ever need Orthopedic Services.

I had surgery and paid a lot of money out of pocket and my knee isn’t much better. Their option is for me to repeat expenses and have another mri and possible more surgery which results more money.
