Great, Dr Murthy is the best

Very good competent and caring neurosurgeon. He operated on my back during the holidays, and I am on the road to recovery!

He is always attentive to his patients and he listens to you from a heart place. I would recommend him to family as well as friends!!!

I’ve been with Dr. Murphy for about 12 years. I am retired now, but I’ve been with him before my retirement. Throughout work, and in my retirement, he has always try to resolve my medical issues. i’ve always recommended him to anyone who is looking for a doctor they can trust. And help to resolve their issues. I give Dr. Murphy and his organization 10 stars.

Dr Murthy is a great doctor who always takes the time to listen to any concerns you may have and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. He is never hesitant to refer his patient if he feels it is the right thing to do. He has been my husband's doctor for a while now. Billy has always been impressed with Dr. Murthy and his staff.

Great staff. Dr. Murthy has great communication skill as well - what old timers would say is "Great bedside manner!" I have never felt more comfortable discussing health issues. My family moved back to town and we had to wait for an opening in the patient roster for a while, but we all feel the same way, even though we all have very different communication styles ourselves.

Always a good visit with Dr.Murthy. He’s through and explains everything so well.

Dr. Murthy is like no other physician I have ever been with in my life. He takes time to talk with you and get to know you. He not only is kind but wants you to have a say so in your treatment and that means alot to me.

Dr. Murphy is a great doctor. He has been my doctor since he started in Athens with Dr. Farris Johnson. Very thorough. Gives you his up most attention. I would not trade him for the world. He is my entire immediate family doctor.

Hands down, the best doctor I've ever worked with. He's the only doctor to REALLY take the time to find the culprit of my headaches, and to find long-lasting, effective preventions. He is an excellent listener, and takes as much time in the room as needed. Highly recommended!

Dr. Murthy has been a godsend for me and my family. If not for him I don't know what my life would be like today. From my very first appointment with him, he determined the real problems I had, which my previous physician regarded as part and parcel of another problem. Perhaps the biggest moment was in the hospital after a bad accident, and after all the specialists came and left, not able to determine what was wrong, he sat with me asked yes or no questions, because I was unable to speak, touched my neck, saw it was swollen and knew instantly what the problem was. A great thing about him is that he listens to you, every little thing, and uses that to help you. No piece of information about how you feel is too small.

Dr. Murthy is a fantastic family physician. It’s obvious he loves medicine but what makes him so special is that he loves working with his patients. And Dr. Murthy somehow sustains that positive energy within our &$%#’ed healthcare system... that can’t be easy.

I've been going to Dr. Murthy for years and he is wonderful! I have never had a doctor that will stay in the room and listen to you as long as he has. I am always amazed at how much time he gives me and I never feel like I am keeping him from other patients. When he is in the exam room with you, you have his complete attention. He always has great suggestions and sometimes even alternative things that typical doctors never mention. He definitely thinks holistically, and talks about nutrition as well, DEFINITELY something most other doctors don't talk about or know about. I've always been pleased with Dr. Murthy's knowledge, comfortable interaction style, and with the amount of information he provides. He has caught problems early and gone out of his way to clearly explain test results, treatment options. He also seems to attend to the potential cost of various treatments more than other docs I've seen. I highly recommend.

I'm sure the doctors themselves are fine. I wouldn't personally know since I couldn't even find the place. The address that's currently here, the 610 address, is outdated. After going to what I now realize is the wrong address, I called and asked for the new one. The lady that answered the phone kept giving the biggest sighs of annoyance. She didn't even know the address herself. I asked if it was 1500 Oglethorpe Ave and she replied with "I guess?" Needless to say I couldn't find the place and had to cancel my appointment. When your own staff doesn't know the address to thr place they work, it shows how much they care about the place. What a joke. I'm sure the doctors themselves are fine. Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Murthy has been god sent for me. I've had several doctors in the past that didn't seem to even care about getting down to the root of my medical problems, and he's the only one who has taken me seriously and found out what the problems are and the cause. I trust him with my father's health also. He and my mother were going to a doctor who is a complete jerk and shouldn't even be practicing medicine, in fact he's the reason that my mom is no longer alive, but that's another story. Dr Murthy is one of the most caring & compassionate doctor I have ever seen. I would never dream of changing doctors. He is absolutely the best. He takes time with you & researches medicine interactions before prescribing. He talks to you & includes you in the decision of your treatment. He talks to you as a friend that is concerned about your health. His staff is sweet, efficient & helpful. Dr Murthy's nurse is on the ball & very efficient. She returns your call & even calls you back to let you know she has completed a request. This is the most caring Physicians practice I have ever been to. I have seen many Doctors with many medical problems over the past 48 years! Dr. Murthy is by far the only doctor that I put 100% trust in my care. He is kind, understanding and talks to you like a person. I could not think of one problem I have ever experienced with Dr. Murthy!!! If you want the best he would be the one to see!

Terrific Doctor - young guy with a ton of knowledge in various medical disciplines. He's diagnosed problems that specialists have failed to understand. I can't understand the negative reviews. Our family has, from the very beginning (4 years ago) loved having him as our PCP (and my wife's a nurse - she knows doctors!). We highly recommend him! By the way, do you really want to take advice about doctors from someone who can't write in plain English or who can't remember to capitalize the first letter of a sentence and their I's?
