Spent time necessary and never got in a rush. Gave me a great education. Not aggressive offering options other than surgical.

Wonderful man and doctor. Also the staff in the office is wonderful. He did procedure to remove my Appandex. I recommend dr.Lester.????????????

Poor customer service and not very helpful scheduling services.

Dr. Lester was very thorough in explaining my options for surgery and very knowledgeable with my ailment.

UPDATE: I gave a higher review as I now have more knowledge. I have since discovered that it is common for a Doctor to do a surgery without ever seeing the patient if he already has a CTI scan. I also had a follow up last week and the nurse was nice and thorough. So overall, I guess everything was par for the course for a hernia surgery. The office was nice and I didn’t have to wait long. First let me start with I am only sharing my experience with this doctor and not rating his abilities as a surgeon. I assume he is a good surgeon....I just had hernia surgery by him yesterday. As far as I know everything went fine, but I would have liked for the doctor to have taken a minute to see me and tell me if the surgery went well or not. I don't think I would recognize him if he walked right up to me and shook my hand. I had never even met him until approximately 30 minutes before the surgery when he popped in my waiting area for about 3 minutes. In retrospect, I realized he never once touched or looked at where the hernia was prior to the operation (his nurse practitioner is the one who saw me previously). He did put an x on the correct side of my leg, but that's it. Anyway, maybe this is S.O.P for surgeries, the only context I have is from my wisdom teeth being pulled, and I adored that oral surgeon, so maybe the comparison is apples to oranges. I have seen lots of doctors in my 58 years and this one had me figured out after the second visit. I left thinking...he really gets me. I am not the best patient and don't always follow "the rules" and I believe those were his actual words to me. :). Anyway, I went in for lower abdomen stabbing pain...well, actually, I had seen Dr. Joseph (gastroenterologist) next door and he referred me to Dr. Lester because he was certain, after looking at 2 CTs that I needed immediate surgery, but I just wasn't having any symptoms of what appeared to be a perforated colon in the CTs. I still had no symptoms so we did another CT in about a month and it still showed what appeared to be a perforation. I told him. I don't hurt, so I don't' want surgery. He agreed with me and told me to call ANYTIME I needed him. The staff (all of them) are extremely nice and I will certainly use him if I need any kind of surgery he can perform. Office visit and surgery. Very pleased with everything. Everything was explained to me in advance and in detail. Dr Lester made me very at ease through the entire process. I will definitely use Dr Lester for any surgery needs in the future.

Called to set up consultation for hernia surgery, was told by whoever answered phone that I needed to schedule time with hospital for surgery first!!!! Wth?...told her I didn't even know if I wanted to use this doctor...only wanted to consult and possibly schedule...she kept talking over me and then hung up on me ...unbelievable!!!! Dr. Lester explained the results found, type of surgery, and what to expect with this surgery. I really liked that he was drawing on a whiteboard as he explained everything. Dr Lester was very informative concerning my procedure. He also listened to all my questions and answered each. I did not feel rushed or hurried while talking to him. After several test, I was admitted to the hospital through the ER…. And was assigned to Dr Lester by the ER staff for surgery. When we had our consultation he was very thorough by explaining all my options…. In other words he allowed me to choose him as my surgeon or go with someone else. Everyone in the office very professional. No waiting in the lobby, checked in and saw Dr. Lester within minutes...

From the time we entered the office, everyone was nice to us. The office staff and nurses were very helpful. Dr. Lester explained the procedure to me and answered every question I had. He took time with me and I never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lester.

Dr. Lester was awesome! I had to have my gallbladder removed within a couple of days and he was very thorough in explaining the process and took the time to sit with us. His office staff was great too and they were very tentative to our needs. Great experience with this team.

I had hernia surgery. Dr. Lester explained what would happen and all went as he said.

I was referred to Dr. Lester with the i intentions of having a lipoma removed. I appreciated that he was honest with me - and not just for the sake of cutting me open - that it may not be in my best interest to have it removed, and that it could just be due to medication. I took his advice and have found that my lipoma has decreased in size. Was a very kind, yet straight to the point consultation. I didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to see him, either.

Prompt service Dr Lester is very personable. He took time to answer our questions in plain English.

Dr. Lester is very knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful. Many surgeons visit consist from quick local assessment and date of surgery schedule. Dr. Lester takes time to examine the patient as a whole, discussing risk and benefits and all alternatives, showing kindness and care for the patient, even sometimes that means that he will not perform a surgical procedure at that time. He shows that a surgeon needs to be first a medical doctor, specialized to be surgeon. His staff is also professional and caring.

Highly Recommended! Dr Lester took the time to answer all my questions and went over the different options for me to make my decision. Surgery went better than could have been expected! If i had to have surgery again, i would choose Dr. Lester!

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr Lester. He has always been very forthcoming with the pros and cons and the expected outcomes. I will go with him again should I ever need additional work.

Dr. Lester has performed two surgeries for me and both have gone wonderfully. He does an amazing job of letting you know how things are going to go, and I have had zero complications afterwards.

Great office atmosphere and staff! I met Dr. Lester this past Thanksgiving 2018 after needing an emergency appendectomy. He was appointed to me by the CODE3 Emergency clinic when they figured out what was wrong with me. They picked good. Dr. Lester is a really nice guy and definitely a great doctor/surgeon. He is a very busy doctor, but makes time for his patients when needed. I have never had a doctor before, but I am much less concerned about my health with Dr. Lester in my corner. Thankyall!

Dr Lester, quite simply, saved my life. The results of his surgery were better than even he predicted. In my humble opinion, the man is a master surgeon, and I would commend any of my dearest loved ones into his care should they need surgery.

My consultation with Dr. Lester reassured me that my surgical procedure was needed and I have every confidence in his surgical abilities. Friends have given him and NTSA excellent reviews and I firmly believe they care for patients.

This man will talk you into getting surgery and promise you he wont let you be in alot of pain after surgery. Then he will drop you as a patient weeks after surgery and leave you in pain. I would not recommend this man to anyone ever. When i first met this Doctor i thought i had found a doctor that actually cared but i shortly found that was the furthest from the truth. Do not trust this man. He will talk you into getting surgery and then change your treatment plan randomly after surgery, then drop you as a patient. I explained i was worried about this happening due to me going through multiple surgeries in my lifetime and experiencing doctors not caring before. He assured me he wouldnt leave me in pain and even wrote out a treatment plan for me to make me feel better, he did not even try to follow the plan he wrote up. Then dropped me as a patient. 0 stars

Dr. Lester was very pleasant and helpful through the entire process It turned out that my surgery was more complicated than originally thought, but Dr. Lester completed it perfectly and I feel great. No lingering pain and a very nice scar!. In addition, he was just a great guy to talk to - very pleasant and no b.s.

My procedure was completed as comfortable and professionally as could be expected for surgery. Before, during and after care was excellent. Highly recommend Dr. Lester.

Dr. Lester is calm, cool and very professional. He has performed 2 minor procedures on me and he is always concerned about my comfort and well being. He also did an emergency gall bladder removal for my brother in law. He always takes time to explain what what has to be done and what you can expect after the procedure. We would highly recommend Dr. Lester. He also has a great support staff.

I had a late night emergency appendectomy and was in a very precarious situation. We were blessed Dr. Lester was the surgeon on call when I arrived at the emergency room. I know he saved my life. He also sat with my wife in the empty waiting room and assured her I was going to be okay. His follow up was prompt on the morning after, and thorough during our office visit after release. While I hope I don't require another surgery I would not hesitate to request his services. Thank you Dr. Lester.
