good listner saved my life because he always writes my history and must review cause he reminds me that that pill is for preventing, or reminded I never did I never did blood test, but never felt pushed but he always takes lots of time and explain the reason why stuff is done or what the pill is for The caridologist says that I prevented a heart ottack

we saw him three times now, excellent bedside manner, good listener and he makes you feel at ease and comfortable

just moved up from Bay area (bought a house) with my wife, we heard about this doctor after trying two others since we moved, now were happy, even my wife said how happy she is about him, even though he asked lots of question, he listened to each answer, he reminded both us of sum followup result that are due, I liked that he asked first what we wanted to talk over (neither of us have ever seen that), he's interested in us, he called my wife already about her tests (I haven't done yet), we both really like him

Having seen him at the other clinic in town, I'd been told he left and was quite sad, He never felt rushed, he made me feel important. I also liked that he remembered that my husband passed and let me cry after being made to feel at ease to talk about how sad I've been, I feel like I'm back home with my old doctor, thankyou for staying, thankyou for not changing and thankyou for being my doctor

Once maybe, twice okay but from my friend, pastor, dog groomer, high school teacher, friends daughter but today from my landscaper. I've been seeing my doctor for years, but it's over an hour each way and frankly, compared to this guy, not even in the same class. It seems that the same words have been used by those above as well, friendly, good listener, never rushed, great explanation, through, never pushy but he is firm in prevention, "must love what he does", caring, personable. I really like this guy, from the very first time to each time i see him, I've got a doctor whom is so easy to talk with, so interested in what his stewardship is, he really takes what he does for a living...seriously but easy to talk with and always organized (he follows about six serious condition...well), he gently reminds me when tests or shots are due, never stuckup and members the name of my dog . I followed him over to his new clinic not because the clinic is the best, but he is, thanks Mac...for saving my life "The big C"

My nana wanted me to leave a review for her doctor, she has seen him a few times since a few months ago when she changed -she really liked him -he explained things well (I was there too and he spoke to her not down to her) -she thought of all the doctors she's seen, he cared for her -he dosen't push drugs -he always tells you why he wants to do a test -he wants to listen to you -he held my nana's hand when she told him my mom died (he looked to me like he even cried too) -I saw him slip her some money when she told him she could buy that medicine till another week

What a down to earth doctor, I never felt rushed, I felt listened to, he cares and probably the best experience I've had at a doctors office. He spent a lot of time reviewing my past and surgeries (my mother passed of cancer in the colon and nobody has ever asked that) then after answering my questions, he suggested we have me do some blood labs and a colon-scope, something that has never been suggested (they found some polyps which will become cancers) so that saved my life but he acted like it was just normal to be so through, just doing his job but he's exactly what our small town needed, "a small town doctor" who cares, listens, is humble and just a great doctor

A friend told me of his new doctor, that he really like him, that for the first time in a long time he felt like he was being heard, Here's my summary; He's very pleasant He made me feel comfortable, I really felt at ease with him I never felt like he was rushing me I needed several refills (all taken care of without issues) It's been a while since I've had such a detailed medical visit finally a followup was established to review everything (I was sent for some tests) I really agree with my friend, he's the best doctor we've had here in a long time,

The hospital has brought a new doctor on board, I had been seeing the providers over at MVHC but despite many attempts, I just couldn't find a doctor that I was confident in, one that would; -communication (not once did he look at his computer, his attention was on me) -easy to talk with -trustworthy -not pushy but very detailed, I found out how many health screening I'm over due for (you -wouldn't know that from the skimpy interview and exams from Mountain Valley) -nice, instantly, I felt like I could share -friendly, like a long lost friend, someone I'd go fishing or to a ball game with -detailed, he called me with the results (tests that Mountain Valley Health never sent me for) -best exam I've every had (I had parts of my body never examined and sent for a colon cancer check as well as a cardiology appt, a scan of my chest (I'm a smoker) This is my doctor for life, thankyou hospital, great clinic and great doctor Ramon N

I thought I would try out the new doctor the hospital has hired, a lady my wife knows see's him, my father see's him, my neighbor see's him and my preacher see him (and he's new in Burney two years) my pharmacist helper see's him and now I see him. I've been going to Redding because of the poor care Burney has been given but every one I ask about him says he's fantastic (I say he's the best I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of doctors, he's smart, he's down to earth, he listened (and only quick questioned me to clarify when my heart attack was), Now I see why a lot of my friends see him, all the above see him and lots of my co-works see him, he is truly the best doctor they (and now me) have ever seen, I've never had a doctor whom wanted to know all my past stuff, he wanted all the details, I've found out that there are a lot of screeners and followup test that I'm supposed to get, nobody has ever offered We love him

What a nice doctor My father goes to him and because of the poor quality of care at Fall River I was seeing a doctor in Shasta but thought I would give him a try (I was having a ear infection anyway) Here's my summary -very professional but also very easy to talk to -he listens and understands better than any doctor I've ever been too -he didn't just focus on drugs, he explained what was going on my ear, explained by drawing a picture then talked about several non-drug treatments -but even more importantly (and this has never happened but particularly never at the Fall river or Burney clinics) he wanted to know in detail my past medical history, then and only then he talked about therapeutics and options -he never felt rushed -he answered all my questions then asked "did I answer your question?" and then before leaving the room if I had any other questions -once again, never before, but he went thru (as he described it) some prevention screening and we found out that I'm due for some

great doctor (I sent a bunch of my friends) becasue he's friendly, very detailed (I only went in for a rash) but because I hadn't had a physical, labs, any following of my diabetes, my mammogram, never had a colon scope, any shots for a long time, he gently suggested all these things (and so to show he's not creepy, he quickly said "and you might be more comfortable with one of our female examiners for your physical" he asked me questions that none of the those Fall River (or the Burney doctors) never asked, he never made me feel uncomfortable but was very through, I think for the first time, I feel good about how much my health insurance costs, he truly felt concerned, I didn't feel he was in a hurry, he explained things very well, he has even a calming way about him, although I had only seen him once (I've followed back up for those tests after my labs and seeing Dr Patterson) but I felt right away that I could trust him, he really made me comfortable (and he's even good looking)

I have diabetes, breast cancer, underactive thyroid and the Burney doctors and those mid-doctors have not earned my trust, I had a mammogram 2yrs ago but the mid-doctor never called me back, I saw him several times after and he never mentioned my breast cancer, my endocrine doctor found it when he got my records (I don't trust the Burney doctors so changed to specialist) he said I should sue Mountain Health Valley's because there doctors/ mid-doctors are very poor, My friend told me of a new doctor so I saw Dr McKenzie reluctantly -he had summarized my records -he found a lot of other things that I needed done -he is very organized -I changed my husband to Dr McKenzie - he's the best doctor we've ever seen -Mountain Health clinics needs to fire all their mid-doc/ doctors and hire them all that are like Dr McKenzie -he needs to teach them how to stop missing Breast Cancer -maybe we should fire Mountain Health clinics (they missed my breast cancer) and hire doctors like Dr McKenzie

I've been traveling out of the Burney area because their doctors are rushed, very poor and not through at all, I have several complex medical conditions that need close following but they aren't through, someone at work said that Dr McKenzie was great so I thought I've give him a chance. First off, he's really personable, I felt within minutes that I was talking to a friend. He listened as I went on about my Diabetes, heart attack, high cholesterol and a artery problem in my thorax. I'd rate him number one of every doctor I've ever seen, he looks me in the eye, he turns to jot down some notes then back to listening, he only interrupted to clarify a point (what date my heart attack then bypass surgery was, he's the first doctor that wants to know the details, he's got a great sense of humor, he's very through and when I didn't want the flu shot, he explain why he thought it was important but said he's support me, he asked my whole history, I feel that he knows me better than any doctor

Gracious, humble and a great sense of humor, he listens, is empathetic and caring, he’s down to earth and easy to talk with, he really seems to love what he does, and it shows

Dr McKenzie has been my primary care physician for over 3 years now, I have nothing but positive feedback for Dr McKenzie and his entire staff. Has always taken very good care of me. Highly recommend.

I had gone to the Hemet Hospital twice and another doctor and received no answers for what was happening to me. The staff at the Hemet Hospital were rude, assuming I was on drugs (never did drugs) and just rushed me through to get rid of me. Dr. McKenzie was so kind and he listened to everything I had to say. He took me seriously and found out the problem in less than 15 minutes. He is a doctor I can trust and respect.
