I had a very successful Hip Replacement. Dr. Nelson took his time to explain everything in detail. His nurses and staff were also very patient and kind. It was an easy process before and after surgery. Med State Hospital was also terrific.

I was very pleased with Dr. Nelson and my results of my knee replacement. He explained the process completely and I never felt rushed if I had additional questions. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a knee replacement and will use him again if I need to get my other knee replaced.

I thought that during all my visits with Dr. Nelson that he was listening to my concerns and responsive to my questions. He called prior to my surgery and double checked my allergies and how that might impact my procedure. Post surgery, he answered all my questions about what to expect and what I could and couldn't do. I"ll go back to him when I need my other knee replaced.

Dr Nelson did two hip replacements for me. I had great experiences both times and my quality of life is improved 100%. I would highly recommend Dr. Nelson. His staff is excellent as well and helped tremendously to keep me on track with all of the appointments needed for surgical clearance and with my appointments after surgery.

Dr. Nelson not only did a great job on my TKR but also has great bedside manner! He patiently spent time answering all my questions not with one foot out the door like some docs!!! I loved my overnight stay at MidState highly recommend it! After 3 months I am already dancing!!! Some discomfort but none of the swelling & pain I had prior to surgery!!

Dr Nelson did full knee replacement on my right knee. It was the best thing that I did out of pain. His staff is friendly and helpful. And doctor Nelson is the best. Every appointment I have had they have made me wash my hands before the doctor comes in, they all have face mask on in the office is immaculate. I'm 69 years old and not spray that falls to go to my appointment, I know they have nothing but the patient health in consideration.

Dr. Nelson took phenomenal care of my mother-in-law. She felt heard and understood, and I felt confident every step of the way that she would get the best care possible. Dr. Nelson was excellent - would definitely recommend him to anyone!

The practice is not safe for the elderly during covid. Receptionist did not have a mask and the assistant wore hers below her nose. No HEPA filters either little hand sanitizers or wipes. Had a 4:45 appointment took us at 6:00 pm
