He was rude and I didn't have much confidence in him.

Dr. Daugherty and staff were great in every way with thoughtful/experienced care. Very good at soothing a pretty significant brief interaction, a doctor's appointment. Quite resourceful also.

I’m a retired RN with 35+ years of experience in healthcare. I’ve worked with the best and the worst physicians. As an “old school” critical care nurse, I chose Dr. Daugherty as my PCP. I appreciate how we work together to formulate my healthcare plan. When friends and colleagues ask me for input about healthcare providers, I do not hesitate telling them my physician is Dr. Daugherty.

Over the past year Dr. D.has become more and more rude, condescending and generally unsympathetic, and unconcerned. He may have good medical knowledge, but it seems he just goes through the motions of being a doctor. I would no longer recommend him to anyone.

If you are looking for a doctor that cares about his patients DO NOT choose Dr. Daughtery!!

The majority of the reviews speak my opinion. Treatments that I had been on for years, he did not agree for using and refused prescription. One notable example is Chantix. I have been a smoker and quit for two or three years a couple of different times. Hoping to try again, his response was was that it makes you violent and likely to harm others...No exaggeration; this was his response. I would not recommend Steven Daugherty to anyone. He is a perfect example of our broken healthcare system.

The rudest and most condescending doctor, with zero listening skills. I would never recommend him to anyone and will not be returning to his office.

Dr. Daugherty is very knowledgeable. He spends the appropriate amount of time discussing all aspects of your health, providing a very well rounded examination and consultation. He's been my primary care provider for several years and I have no desire for that to change.

I've been having chronic pain along with other symptoms for over a year. I was referred to Dr. Daugherty for having c diff for the 4th time. He spent the majority of my appointment telling me that there is nothing wrong with me, and that I needed to see a counselor because I have "deep rooted issues that I never worked through". He told me that the pain was all in my head and all my problems are caused by stress. He doesn't listen or seem to care! He was a jerk and I would not recommend him!

Dr. Daugherty is rude, egotistical, narcissistic and condescending. He may be knowledgeable, but is not willing to listen to the patient; rather, he makes his own determination based on the mood that he is in at the time of the office visit. If you take more time than he has allotted for your visit, he tells you that you have taken more time than you were supposed to, and you have inconvenienced other patients.

Dr. Daugherty has always taken time to thoroughly evaluate & explain treatment. I absolutely trust him with my medical needs & would certainly recommend him to others.
