Dr. Steven Thomas Kelley

Worst orthopedic office ever! They don't answer their phone and don't return phone calls. They also forgot to put in an authorization for a cortisone shot for over a week. I had to go over their heads to my medical provider to get the autorization for the shot! I do not recommend this office to anybody!!

I met Dr. Kelly after I had a terrible fall on my shoulder and well, it looks like my shoulder was down my arm, I did not know what to do. Dr. Kelly was reassuring, concerned, and very informative about my options. I get very worried because I have a lot of bad medical conditions, he understood my needs and the care needed to take care of me. I am looking forward to my follow-up visit coming very soon.

Dr. Kelley agreed to help my husband when no one else would! He needed knee replacements for years and Kaiser refused because he didn't fit in their "BMI box". He worked hard to lose weight, but it was never enough. Finally, after a fall, he actually knocked his femur partially off his tibia and could no longer put weight through his leg. Now, he was in a wheelchair and Kaiser still refused. We heard about Dr. Kelley through a family member who worked at a local rehab facility. We scheduled a cash consult. During our visit, Dr. Kelley told his surgical coordinator, Tanya "we have to help him". We changed insurance to a PPO and Dr. Kelley performed a total knee replacement within 6 weeks! My husband had full range of motion the next day and quickly regained his strength. Since he is now able to walk, he can again properly oversee his construction business and be independent again. Wish we had discovered Dr. Kelley and his staff years ago! Thank you for changing lives!

Dr Kelley never even looked at me when I’d come in for my appointment. He seemed like he was preoccupied and definitely has no bedside manner. He honestly did not seem interested in my situation. I tore the meniscus in my knee and had to wait five weeks before I could even get in to see him. Then I think I had to wait another three weeks before I had the surgery. It’s been a year and a half since my Surgery and my knee doesn’t seem like it’s ever healed because its still rather swollen and hurts and it just doesn’t seem like it should be that way after all this time. I have no interest in going back to see Dr. Kelley so I have an appointment with another orthopedic surgeon in Murrieta. Oh and once my surgery was over and I recovered from the anesthesia, he came in and it seems like he was in there for one minute and then left. About four days after I had the surgery, my wound started bleeding quite a bit so I called the office and talked to somebody and they didn’t seem to be too concerned. Surgery on my husband was the wrong type and caused a lot more problems.

He could have spend more time explaining the details of what’s going on inside my shoulder but other than that Dr. Kelley’s operation went flawlessly and I’m very happy with his work.

After two knee replacements and one shoulder replacement with Dr Kelley, I’ll testify that he does excellent work. It’s still up to you to rock the Rehab, but Kelley’s work will get you to the point where you can rebuild the rest, if you try.

Broke my fibula and tore up the ligaments in my ankle. My leg was splinted in the er comfortably but it was by no means straight. I was referred to Dr. Kelley from TVH. Had surgery with Dr. Kelley yesterday and this first thing I noticed was how straight it is already and how much less pain I feel. Im looking forward to the rest of my recovery with Dr.Kelley. Dr. Kelley performed a surgery on me following a dirt bike accident. The surgery was amazing and it is healing extremely well. During the follow up at his office, every one was so nice and knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend him and his team. Thanks again Dr. Kelley!

If you are concerned about Covid, don't go to this office. My first visit with Dr. Kelley was a full office and he was stressed, so that could be an excuse, but he spent my whole appointment with his mask below his nose. You would think he would know that the nose is part of the respiratory system. Since then, each time I go, there is some patient not obeying the mask rule, and staff does nothing about it. I spoke to the supervisor and noticed that she kept pulling her mask up to cover her nose, which means the mask doesn't fit well. I suggested nicely that she try another mask and she became incensed and rude.

Dr. Kelley, went above and beyond to make sure that my surgery was done in a timely manner. His first available appointment was over a month out but after looking at my X-rays he saw the urgency of the matter and took a day off right after the New year to do my surgery. He was very thorough in his explanation of the process and the recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kelley for you orthopedic needs. Staff is disrespectful and dont know what they are doing they tell people to Google what medication they are on and to stop if it is a blood thinner

My husband sustained a COMPLETE break in his right humorous bone, which is his dominant arm. Refusing to perform surgery, Dr Kelley decided to leave him in a brace for "a few months" to heal, despite our reluctance and plea for immediate intervention. Well, the bone never healed properly. We trusted him and gave him the benefit of our doubt. Years later my husbands arm is deformed and he lives with constant pain. In addition, Dr Kelley was condescending in answering questions. Dr. Kelley, is a very caring and a very concern Dr. I have been to see Dr. Kelly twice, on my first visit to see Dr. Kelley I had with me my daughter and my husband as I did not what to expect from Dr. Kelley, but boy did we get a surprise.when he walked in the room I was in with that warm caring look in his eyes and that smile on his face we looked at each other with a smile knowing he is the one.As we all talked we became more and more comfortable with Dr. Kelley. I am in my late 70’s and I had taken a fall down our stairs in our home and I thought for sure I had broken my knee and damaged my toes as they all hurt so bad. What a wonderful Dr. God has sent me to as Dr. Kelley is taken such good care of me.I am still in his care and we are trying to keep me from having to have surgery as I am a heart patient and that makes thing change, if I do have to have knee surgery I am more than sure that Dr. Kelley will do everything in his power to take care of me. When I broke my wrist I went to Dr Kelley for treatment. He never looked at my wrist and just told his assistant to put it in a cast. He acted as if he would rather be somewhere else. Even though he was supplied with several x-rays during the healing process, my wrist healed incorrectly and will require 2 surgeries to correct the misalignment and the pain will never go away. After 50 trips to therapy, I have limited movement. I feel this outcome is due to the lack of care given by Dr Kelley.

I'd lost faith in so many health care professionals@ other places who diagnose1 thing toM y face yet n written report they either leave out 1/2 of the facts or facts completely backwards/wrong area, & negligent mis-diagnosis. :) I am amazed that Dr Kelly was careful& compassionate of my pain& could diagnose a cracked Navicular foot bone without an Xray,because he wouldn't try to make such extra $pushing X-rays on someone like me who has radiation Poisoning.ConsiderateThoroughWISE! He did ACL surgery on me.. I woke up in the room after the surgery I was in excruciating pain. I should've known then it was only going to go downhill! He placed my hamstring tendon in the wrong spot in the ACL causing it to not last! After going to several months of physical therapy I realized after one of my physical therapist told me that she believes my ACL was not in tact. I went back to see Dr. Kelly and I told him that something was wrong numerous times. He brushed me off several times until I would not take no for an answer and then was able to get another MRI done and it showed just what I thought and the physical therapist told me ...my ACL was not in tact causing me to have a second surgery one year later with a real doctor. I waited 3 years for a knee replacement. No doctor would help. Then Dr. Kelley came did an MRI and X-Ray and did a replacement. I admire him and tell everyone I know about him. I give him an A++++. It is God’s blessing that Dr. Kelley is here. Ed, Temecula, CA
