I'm sure he does better by his private practice patients in this office than he does for those who see him at the Warren County Health Department, and if that is the case, it's even more shameful since he does a horrible job with his dental patients there. When a healthcare provider accepts Medicaid, they should have some degree of humanity in them, but this man does not. His staff is less than helpful and his chairside manner is awful. I came to him multiple times with my dental needs and he refused to help me with anything that I needed. These were services that were covered by insurance and were nothing out of the ordinary, but he did not want to take the time to help me. I came to Dr Murmann needing extractions and I was ultimately going to need dentures. He said during our consult that he could do the work only to then say that he could not when he had me back in the chair. Once I had extractions done elsewhere (three hours away!), he then proceeded to tell me that he would not provide my dentures since he didn't pull my teeth. There is something inherently wrong with that determination considering he WOULDN'T pull my teeth. His chairside manner is terrible and he has zero humanity in him.

This is an amazing place I’ve gone to since early childhood. Dr. Murmann is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The checkups are quick, the service is great, and my teeth always feel better when I come out. I highly reccomend this place if you’re new to the area.

I don't agree with the previous reviews. The receptionist went out of her way to make sure that I got the lowest price possible on my sleep apnea bite plate and everyone on staff was very nice and efficiently got me through the process.

New patient visit for first semi-annual cleaning for 2018. Dr. Murmann completed my new patient cleaning & checkup himself. Very personable & knowledgeable, easy to engage. Would highly recommend to those in the Monmouth, IL needing a dentist.

The receptionist or whoever answers the phone is a very rude person. It's a shame that when you are supposed to be a"professional" how you let personal feelings get in the way. Maybe you should get a job where you don't have to work with the public!!
