Dr. Suanne Garber Mallenbaum

Dr Mallenbaum has been a rock for our family and my daughter. She’s semi-retired now but still makes time for my kids. She’s an excellent diagnostician. People who are upset that she doesn’t return calls—she does for her patients. This week she made time for us for an emergency same day and has checked in several times since.

Horrible. If long waits aren’t enough of a turn off, I was Overmedicated like a lab rat science experiment. Children should never go through the trauma I went through.

She is not longer taking patients and will not give any advice regarding referrals.

She could careless about her patients. You can't even leave a message because her mailbox has been full for days and will not accept new messages. (That is a disgrace and so unprofessional)

She is not there when its time to be there. Sitting back when all she can do is to call and clarify and leaving the family in the middle is extremely unprofessional

Dr. Mallenbaum exemplifies professionalism. She is the most competent caring doctor my son has ever had. I cannot thank her enough for her support to our family.

Dr Mallenbaum is an amazing doctor to her current patients. She responds promptly to her emails, and provides a current emergency number (not a voicemail number) for her patients so we can reach her. She has changed my son's life, and our family cannot thank her enough. Her demeanor is straightforward and you can rely on her to tell you the truth- not all parents want to hear the truth. She shows up for our IEP meetings with our school district, and has been an incredible advocate for our son and his educational needs. If you are looking for a doctor who doesn't give you or your children a load of bullshit, she's great. I am here to echo the reviewer below me. I was recently referred to her by a number of practictioners, including her responsive (well, I was lucky - she picked up the phone) colleague and neighbor, Dr. Balint, who even left a message to Dr. Mallenbaum on my behalf, but Dr. Mallenbaum has multiple voicemail systems and doesn't give her patients and prospects the decency of a reply. It's disgusting. I left multiple messages expressing desperation, even saying "if you can't take patients, just let me know! Please please just call with some sort of update!" Not a single response despite her receiving numerous calls over at least 2-3 weeks. Doctors like this should be stripped of their licenses. They aren't doctors if they leave the patients with unresolved issues. Thanks Dr. Mallenbaum. You've gotten 1 star from me and 1 star from Marisa because you seem to be a nonpracticing doctor. This individual was recommended to me by one of my doctors several years ago, whom I shall not name because I respect her too much. I left several messages at her office asking her to contact me and she NEVER had the professional courtesy of returning any of my telephone calls. Recently, I was referred to her again by a different doctor, whom again I shall not name, and again I left several messages and Ms. Mallenbaum NEVER returned my calls. I will not refer to her as a doctor because she does not fit the mold of my definition of what a doctor is; professional, respectable, dedicated, caring, loyal and devoted to their patients and the medical field. She does not deserve to be called a doctor when she displays such unprofessional, rude and unacceptable behavior towards the colleagues that recommend her and the patients that are in desperate need to find a doctor for their child who specializes in a particular area of medicine. She should be ashamed of herself! And, if money weren't an issue, there are way more better doctor's out there than this one!! REALLY!!!
