Susan B Harlow

Have been seeing Dr Harlow for years now. Trust her implicitly.

She gives pills to recovering pain pill addicts. And now they are back on them. They don't care about the patients, just what they can get out of them.

My health insurance lists Dr. Harlow as my Primary Care Provider. I haven't visited her office since 2015. I tried to schedule an appointment this morning, but according to Dr. Harlow, since I haven't visited her since 2015, I'm "no longer her patient" and she's not accepting new patients right now. I've been to her before, so I'm not a new patient. Clearly, they still have my file on record or they wouldn't know that I've been there before.. and since they still have my file on record, I don't understand how she's saying I'm no longer her patient. Especially when my insurance has chosen and listed her as my Primary Care Provider. Very rude, unprofessional, and very unhelpful. So now I have to call my insurance, have my PCP changed, find a new doctor, try to schedule an appointment or go to a walk-in clinic. I highly DO NOT recommend Dr. Harlow. I am not impressed. There was a clerical mistake made from the funeral home on my dads death certificate that Harlow signed. A corrected certificate was resubmitted for her to sign but she has not signed it. Her office says she only signs on Wednesday's. I have reached out to her several different ways, explaining that it is holding up the processing of things like insurance, banks, pensions, etc. The death of a loved one is hard enough, along with the legal processes that require a death certificate. How hard is it to stroke a signature to help the family of the loved one that is gone?! How much care does she really have for her patients if it's to inconvenient for her to do the simple things?! The worst dr ive ever been to.Horrible attitude,will not be back

My problem is with her billing. She always bills my husband's appointments as 1 year follow up appointments so she can charge our insurance and us more when she should be billing them as wellness visits, which are covered 100% by our insurance. I have to call every year and have everything rebilled so our insurance will cover the visits like they are supposed to. Extremely frustrating!

I have been a patient of Dr. Harlow's for several years now. She has always provided me with the best care possible. I have referred several of my family members and friends to her, because of the outstanding care provided. I am thankful to have such a great doctor in our community. The staff are great as well!

Makes patients visit during a pandemic in order for her to prescribe simple medications just so she can get her money for the visit, no concern for her patients with low immune systems. Charges you for every little thing they do in big amounts, doesn't help with already known medical problems etc. Don't go here, save your money, time and health.

Very impressed on my initial visit. Dr. Harlow is informed, current, is patient, provides clear explanations. She is concerned and committed to patient's health. The office is spotless, staff is courteous and caring. The conspicuous presence of sanitizing efforts, masking and social distancing provide a much appreciated level of comfort during the Covid pandemic. I am looking forward to Dr. Harlow's support and care as I navigate through my elder years.

Unfortunately she is my grandmother's PCP. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I also work in the medical field and I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing people, she is not one of them. She was uncaring and unconcerned. She would rather give a broad diagnosis instead of narrowing the field of a diagnosis which would allow my grandmother to get more help for her specific illness. They would rather throw drugs at a pt and send the on their way instead of trying to address the real problem. She feels because of her age that she should just give up and let the illness take its course and that is not an option for someone willing to fight a disease. Having been under the care of Dr. Harlow for the past 4 years, I can say that she is one of the finest physicians I've had the pleasure to know in my lifetime. Her new stand alone facility is beautiful and convenient, and her practice is a friendly, well run organization. Top shelf AAA+++

I am leaving this review on behalf of my wife. Dr. Harlow has been a godsend to her health. My wife has suffered from heart issues early on and Dr. Harlow has managed her continuing care after she received heart stents. Dr. Harlow handles my wife's female issues, and overall well being and has for ten years now. I generally go with my wife for her doctor appointments and we drive about sixty miles to see Dr. Harlow. She is an awesome doctor in both of our opinions and knowledgeable in many facets. She does not just prescribe medicine - she takes care of you. We highly recommend her as a doctor. My wife would not be alive if not for Dr. Harlow's personal intervention in her health care.

I just wanted to make a complaint didn't know where to post but i keep receiving old bill statements from 2015 well its very apparent that it will not get payed i wasn't happy with how i got treated just because i failed to take meds the way she thought was best for me. i was never taken serious because of that. but she nice when she wants to be but i left not happy so bills need to stop coming to my address

I was looking for a new doctor. I went to this (not) doctor. I was still trying to recover from pneumonia and was still breathing poorly. She ordered a mammogram and bone density test. Wanted to see me back in 2 months. HELLO. I need treatment for pneumonia. I will look else for a real doctor. Hated this woman. And I told office staff not to have my records moved from last doctor, I wouldn't be back. Then less than 2 hours later I get a call from this office saying they have my appointment for tests.
