I was not impressed with the tone Dr.Psaila used with me. She talked to me like I was a child and didn't understand science. She acted annoyed with my questions and I felt rushed. I am now with a new dermatologist. I do not recommend Dr. Psaila.

Horrible! So rushed! I went for my skin check.I had to point out a spot to her on the back of my leg. Ended up being squamous cell cancer. I had another spot I was concerned about on my neck,but she is so rushed I didn’t ask about it, which was my bad. When I went to the plastic surgeon to remove the spot on my leg I asked him about the spot on my neck. That ended up being basal cell cancer. I would highly running away from her as a dr.

Haven't seen Dr. Psaila in over 2 years. Stuck with a PA that doesn't respect what Dr. or other PAs prior to them joining the practice have prescribed. Lies about what was prescribed and when, lies about what was discussed in visits. You have to ask for a body check at annual visit and they wave a tiny little UV light over some of your body. But the worst part is getting prescriptions from these people. They never give you the amounts you ask for, sometimes multiple calls to get them to fill out a prior authorization. Nurses call you well after closing time, no way to call them back. eg. 1 nurse went so far as to tell me insurance didn't cover a script, then pointed me at some mail-in pharmacy never heard of. Lie - had just gotten off phone with insurance provider that told me they did cover it and had made 7 attempts to contact DPWNY for missing info and that was the hold up. Tried to leave last year, hard to find derms in this area accepting new patients. Record keeping abysmal!

Wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. Looked at me, prescribed a med to a nurse that was with her. Left the room. Waited over two months for a new patient visit, she spent all of three minutes with me.

I was a first time patient and will not go back. Waited over 30 min to be seen and then felt like my appt time was being used to make up for lost time. She rushed through it, seemed bothered that I dare ask any questions, and couldn't get out of the room fast enough. No thanks.

I would not recommend this person for your medical needs. Terrible interpersonal skills and absolutely zero concern for the patient. She will take you money but will not return a call. You, as a patient, deserve better.

Just saw Dr. Psaila for the second time. She saw me promptly, was professional, thorough and very pleasant. She asked appropriate questions, explained the problem, treated it and I was on my way in just in few minutes. What more could you ask for?

I have to agree with the other reviewers that Dr Psaila is lacking in any "bedside manner." She did not make eye contact with me or my children on both of our visits, and seemed annoyed with another member of my family when they asked additional questions about the problem they were visiting her for! Another derm questioned her treatment as it was in a highly visible area and could leave a scar, and I had specifically voiced a concern about this. We will not visit Dr Psaila again.

Found her to be arrogant, rude, dismissive and ready to diagnosis (write an Rx) without ever actually examining my daughter or listening to what brought us to the appointment in the first place. The 10 minutes we spent there will most certainly be our last.

Arrived early to fill out paperwork, waited 5 minutes or so to be seen and was in and out in 15 minutes. Dr, Psaila and her staff were professional, courteous and caring.

Terrible personal skills. Kept me waiting 40 minutes but never apologized or even acknowledged it. Was abrupt and didnt seem to care what I thought. Did not even do a complete examination of my skin .

Dr. Psaila is very impersonal, and doesn't connect with her patients. She rushes through appointments and doesn't bother to talk to the patient. I actually find her rude and arrogant. Looking for new derm.
