I have been seeing Dr. Silva for a number of years. I had embarrassing rosascea, but my skin is much improved, thanks to her care.

Saw Dr. Silva for a chemical peel or microdermabrasion. She couldn't come up with a treatment for scaring on my chest. She explained she could not do a chemical peel or dermabrasion on my face due to my ethnicity. Stating she could take pigment out but not put it in and due to my skin color I could have scaring from the laser. All which seemed logical at the time. However, I didn't realize I should have seen a specialist for ethnic skin. She did nothing but, was ok charging me $150.
