He always stood out for how he listened, responded and collaborated with me as a patient, and has the absolute best bedside manner (as do all his fellows and nurses). As a result, we decided to do two surgeries to see how my eyes healed before doing a face lift. And the results were absolute perfection -- I look like me, just 10 yrs younger. Three weeks post-face lift I was attending SXSW parties with everyone asking "who was your surgeon!?". I feel so emotional about what Dr. Nakra did for me and will be forever grateful. First was an upper/lower bleph with under-eye laser resurfacing for crepe-y skin; two months later was a deep plane face/neck lift plus brow lift and chin implant. I was nervous about impacting the look of my eyes with the brow lift since they're my biggest feature -- but the results were perfect. Now, at 58, I literally have NO bags or wrinkles under my eyes, and a beautiful jawline I've never had before. Three weeks post-face lift I was attending SXSW parties with everyone asking "who was your surgeon!?". I feel so emotional about what Dr. Nakra did for me and will be forever grateful. I am very pleased with the results of the upper blepharoplasty and brow lift performed by Dr. Nakra and his team. They were careful to thoroughly explain the procedures in advance and detail the expected results. Both the surgery and the recovery were painless.

Unfair and impolite person hanging phone on me when I still was talking. I made appointment for consultation with doctor Nakra. They gave me appointment for 5 months later and they changed me 100 dollar for the consultation over the phone. I thought like all other places in United States they call to remind the appointment specially if it’s in five months. They didn’t call to remind me my appointment and I missed it and when I called to reschedule the appointment they said no refund and also I have to pay another 100 dollars for rescheduling in seven more months So what you name this business. The person who was answering the phone was hanged on me when I still was talking to him.

Dr. Nakra and his nurse, Meghan McBride, are truly top-notch. Extremely skilled, professional, kind, and thorough. I was delighted with both my care and results. The wait for an appointment is definitely worth it.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Nakra for such a positive experience and incredible results from my upper right blepharoplasty. I was referred to Dr. Nakra as *the* one and only person who performs the co2 laser in Austin, and while the consultation appointment was a longer wait than expected (makes sense given how popular + well-respected he is for his expertise!), it was well worth the wait. Dr. Nakra and his nurse Meghan (who is lovely!) took care of me from the moment I walked in — fully understanding my concerns and providing great recommendations. The procedure itself was a breeze, and they checked in often to make sure I was a-ok through recovery. I'd highly recommend Dr. Nakra to anyone in the area!

Dr. Nakra performed tear trough filler for me last fall and I am thrilled with my results! I was hesitant to undergo this procedure as I have seen some not so ideal outcomes. I was very selective with choosing an injector as I know most people don’t specialize in tear trough filler. I was very comfortable with him treating this high risk area. I won’t trust my face now with anyone else. His bedside manner is unmatched and he and his nurse Meghan made me feel at ease from start to finish. I love my results - it’s like built in concealer. Dr. Nakra performed a brow, face and neck lift for me in January of 2022. When I felt ready for a surgical intervention, I did not hesitate to have him perform my procedures. He has the rare combination of compassionate bedside manner paired with meticulous surgical skills. My surgical course was better than anticipated and it was reassuring to have access to either him or his nurse as needed post operatively. I was, in fact, lucky with minimal swelling and bruising post op. The discomfort was well managed and I was able to resume my normal daily routine within 2 weeks. I know there can be a wait to see Dr. Nakra but I am here to tell you that he is 100% worth the wait.

Dr Nakra fixed my old ripped earring holes and pierced my ears again after they healed. The whole thing was super easy and almost pain free. Dr and nakra and his whole staff were great! Highly recommend him and this practice.

This surgeon came highly recommended. I made an appointment in February. Three months later, I was very excited to have my appointment. He was over an hour late for the consultation and sent me in with a nurse practitioner whom had zero bedside manner. She made me feel extremely self-conscious and bad about myself. After this woman left the room, I got up to leave because she was that awful. The doctor was about to walk in so I stayed and decided to give the experience the benefit of the doubt. Long story short, I wanted to schedule the surgery but after further consideration I decided to make the appointment for the original reason that I came in and the surgery consultant told me that I would have to make a new consultation appointment which was another three months out, even though I had just been there to see the surgeon. If you want a lower eye lift, he is very good. I wish I had never let him do surgery on any other part of my face and I paid ~$20K. I was told a cheek lift implant does same as lower facelift. From my experience, the check lift and forehead lift did not appear to do anything. I even got filler injections at his office 3 months after his facelift. In less 6 than months, wrinkles appeared on my face where I never had them before. I feel like I wasted my time and money. BTW, you all did offer to fix my face with a lower life for about the same price as my first surgery...approx $20 with same surgeon, anesthesiologist, and operating room costs. Dr. Nakra and his wonderful assistant Angelina provided me with an almost perfect surgical experience. I had an eye lift, brow lift, lower eyelid tightening and fat transfer to my sunken lower eyes along with a laser skin peel. Post surgery I formed a hematoma under one eye that Dr. Nakra worked very hard to eliminate. His efforts worked and I am very pleased. He was available for all my questions and concerns and post surgical appointments. Angelina was a jewel, too, in her reassuring manner that all my swelling and bruising was completely normal. I am delighted with the results of my surgery with Dr Nakra.

Dr. Nakra is phenomenal. His surgical skill/technique is one that produces natural and beautiful results! I'm so grateful my dermatologist told me to "google Nakra" when I mentioned wanting help with my eyebags. There's a reason he's known as the best in his specialty. I had previously received tons of filler in my eye area to mask the bags, but over time the filler began to move/bunch and look unnatural. Dr. Nakra was able to address and correct the underlying issue causing the bags in the first place, and he left NO scars! Both Dr. Nakra and his nurse Angelina are truly incredible. They are both incredibly gifted, kind, honest, and truly want you to walk away 100% satisfied with results. Needless to say, I'm never letting anyone other than Dr. Nakra ever touch my face again. SO grateful!

Dr. Nakra was supposed to do my eyelid surgery in January 2021. However, after I signed the consent form showing Dr. Nakra as my surgeon, and after I was drugged on Xanax & Hydrocodone, his trainee’s name was added to the consent form without my knowledge or consent. She did surgery on my left eyebrow and right eye, and he did the reverse. The result was a total failure. My eyelids still droop below the top of my pupils just like they did, my eyebrows were not raised and my bags are essentially unchanged. The surgery was a total failure, and I will have to repeat it. However, my brows cannot be raised now because almost all of the loose skin was removed. If my brows arew raised now, I will not be able to shut my eyes. Beware of Dr. Nakra.

Dr. Nakra preformed blepharoplasty and ptosis surgery in 2017. I was very pleased with the results. In 2020, I had a small cyst on my eyelid which he removed. The pathology returned a diagnosis of sebaceous cell carcinoma resulting in 2 additional surgeries. He then preformed an upper brow lift on the other side to make things more symmetrical. Dr. Nakra is professional, a perfectionist and has a good bedside manner. His his staff is excellent!

Dr. Nakra is a very caring, competent and professional doctor. He was reassuring and explained the procedure and choices I had very clearly. His practice is a very safe and well run one. All communication was polite, caring and thorough. I would recommend Dr. Nakra and his staff.

I had a lower lid bleph procedure done by Dr. Nakra. I interviewed several surgeons in town, and went with Dr. Nakra based on a recommendation, and because he specialized in eye surgery. He was also the most professional and pleasant doctor I interviewed. He did an amazing job, and 3 years later, everything still looks great. traveled around the US to find a dr who could repair my much damaged eyes i got from an overly aggressive dr in PA. after seeking out over 28 ocular surgeons, i finally found dr Nakra. dr Nakra was the most thorough and suggested temp plugs for my dry eyes bc they suffered so much damage. i soon traveled back to austin for a very extensive surgery, hogging up poor dr Nakras entire day. after being botched by a PS in PA i traveled the US interviewing 28 ocular surgeons, i was turned away by all except for 3. i went on one more consult and that when i met Dr Nakra. he was very patient & caring, gave me the best consult, going over every many different ways to correct my many problems i suffered from the PS in PA . 6 mo later Dr Nakra did my revisional surgery , 1 year po he did such an amazing job, he restored my eyes and his FT turned me from haggard to youthful. tyvm Dr N

Dr. Nakra was very friendly, open about what to expect and did a very good job on my eyelids. He showed compassion and interest along with a sense of humor which I feel is very important. He answered questions and never made me feel as though I was just another patient.

Dr. Nakra came highly recommended for diagnosing/treating thyroid related graves disease, This is a scary diagnosis, but Dr. Nakra approaches it in a highly informed and confident manner. No drama, just good information about how to monitor and treat as needed. In the first appointment, he assessed whether or not I had the condition. In the second appointment, he "graduated" me with the instructions just to touch base if I needed him. There is a wait to get in, but he truly is worth it!

Dr. Nakra is excellent. From the start he is very warm and down to earth when talking to you. The procedure went well and I love my 'new' eyelids. No longer can I see them from above haha which is awesome. Don't hesitate one second making an appointment with him. Wish I had money to fix everything else. The wait times differed from just 10 or so minutes to the last time which was 30 minutes.

My father was a beloved and revered physician for his diagnostic abilities and his manner. When I first met with Dr. Nakra, I thought, my father would be very pleased to have this doctor take care of his daughter. No greater compliment.

Dr. Nakra is a wonderfullly skilled surgeon, especially around the eye area. Whether it is a functional surgery or a cosmetic procedure (I've had both done by him), I trust him with my eyes. And that says a lot. The eyes are the window to the soul. He brought mine back as good as new, and I'm not secretly self-conscious anymore. It's a wonderful feeling. My eyes now accurately convey my inner self and feelings for others.

Amazingly patient during all my questioning and as a Nurse I have a long list. I have a chronic eyelid condition that I wouldn't trust any other Physician to treat!

I flew down from PA to see Dr Nakra after a dr in greensburg PA butchered my eyes by removing too much skin, fat and the muscle from my lower eyelids, disfiguring my entire looks and face. I have consulted the nation's leading ocular surgeons and dr Nakra gave me the most thorough best consult, explaining what happened to why and how my eyes became botched and the solution to the problems I have from this overly aggressive surgery I rec from a PS in PA.

Dr. Nakra was the fourth plastic surgeon I consulted with. He was the only one that said a facelift was not necessary, so we refreshed my face instead! Lower bleph to get rid of bags below eyes, full face laser resurfacing and fat transfer. No dramatic changes, but I look incredibly healthy and much, much more youthful. The laser resurfacing reduced the appearance of my pores and smoothed out my complexion. His lower bleph and fat transfer techniques made a huge difference.

I treated myself to a facelift. I'd paid college educations for my kids, paid off my house and was without debt. I looked tired and weary, in fact with the before surgery photos, I looked matronly without vitality. I took good care of my skin, I thought, but the effects after surgery are dramatic. I am familiar with most procedures (Fillers, Botox, IPL, Ulthera, Chemical peels) along with a diligent at home skincare plan (20 years of Ca. sun damage to correct). Still, all of it did nothing to tighten my jaw line. Dr. Nakra's treatment plan included a full face fat transfer (taken from my lower abdomen) lower face lift and TCA chemical peel around my eyes. I couldn't be happier with the natural results and will continue to trust him with all my surgery needs going forward.
