If you are in need of good Neurologist I highly recommend Dr. Azamy. He's very thorough when doing examinations. I have been seeing him for a few years now and am very pleased.

Great neurologist while it lasted. I met with Dr Azamy once, thought he was a highly skilled professional, until my second appointment which I specifically scheduled for 5:30 pm due to my work schedule and far commute. I receive a call from his secretary at 5: 13pm asking where was I and if I was coming to the appointment, which I found odd. Usually, I get calls the day prior to confirm an appointment from other providers. I responded “ yes, I am on my way.” At 532pm I receive a call from Dr Azamy asking me where was I because he had to be somewhere. I stated that I was on my way. Specifically 10 minutes away from the office, I was stuck in traffic. I apologized for running a few minutes late and explained that I work in the city and there was heavy traffic. I even got off work 20 minutes earlier from my shift to make this appointment. I was looking forward to discussing my concerns with Dr Azamy. I am very disappointed at the way he responded, “I have a life too, it’s not my fault you’re running late, if you don’t come here in 10 minutes I’ll be gone.” I responded that it was okay he didn’t have to wait the 10 minutes and that he can go. As a mental health professional myself, it is very important that we are cautious how we speak to our patients as this can affect them in lots of different ways. We don’t know what a person may be going through. I understand everyone has a life. I am very firm about timing, however there are times we can’t control what happens in life and some flexibility is necessary. I provide my patients a 15 min grace period and then I give a courtesy call explaining that he or she must reschedule, however the attitude was totally unnecessary. Anyhow, I will be looking for another neurologist, one that works in the afternoon/ evenings. Thought I shared this so no one gets caught by surprise like I did. Great neurologist while it lasted. I needed to find a specialist in my area. Did not wait long at all and he pin pointed the pain after a few minutes, very pleased thank you

Dr. Azamy is the best neurology expert I have known. I highly recommend this extremely competent and highly skilled physician. As an added bonus, he is genuinely caring, detailed and personable.

He is the best neurologist and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Azamy was very honest about my mothers prognosis. Rather than pushing medicines that won't really work on her, he felt it best to let her be and care for her as needed. I'm very greatful for his honesty!!
