Dr. Theodore T Benke

One of my littles got a soft gel ball stuck in their ear. After Cooks could not remove it (and tried for a very long, painful time) I took him to see Dr. Benke. Dr. Benke's staff was incredibly friendly. We did not wait at all. Dr. Benke explained every step of the process to my child, showed him all the tools/instruments he woudl be using and even let him test them out before starting the procedure. He somehow calmed a very scared little down...enough to successfully remove the object avoiding surgery. It was such a calming and amazing experience. Highly recommend Dr. Benke for kiddos!

The staff are all courteous, respectful and friendly. Dr Benke is a great ENT. He cares about his patients. He looks at me when we talk rather then looking at a computer screen. Takes all the time with me that is needed. He has helped me with allergy issues, Menier's Disease, and vertigo. Audiologist, Dr. Powers, is great!! Office is clean and attractive.

The doctor was thorough and competent. Good interpersonal skills and explained my condition and options well. HOWEVER, the wait was eternal. I was asked to complete all forms online (which I did) and was asked to be there 30 minutes before my 10:40 appt (which I was). The front desk process was less than 5 minutes because I had already completed the paperwork as requested - so why 30 minutes early? About 10:50 I was taken to an exam room where I waited until 11:50 (yes, about one hour) when the doctor came in. The examination and consultation lasted maybe 10 minutes. So, why the long delay? The doctor then proceeded to "visit with me" like a new friend that you might meet. Assume that's why he was so behind schedule. That would be a good trait IF they simply scheduled appropriately. The long wait is a sign of disrespect for the patient's time. In short, good doctor but lousy time manager.

Dr. Benke has been my ENT for the last 5 years. I tried to get in to my dermatologist but it was going to be 3 weeks for my appointment so I called Dr. Benke and he work me into his busy schedule the next day. He is the best!!!

He has helped me through many years of severe allergies and sinus issues. He genuinely cares about his patients and has great staff!

I'm a nurse and Dr. Benke is one of my favorite doctors ever. My little boy has been seeing him for two years - when the ear infections began ruling our lives! My little one is 4 and has been through 2 surgeries with Dr. Benke (but only after he tried every conservative method possible) - we've have had excellent experiences both times. Very attentive, extremely knowledgeable and supremely trustworthy. Clean, beautiful office with kind staff. I highly recommend him.
