Dr. Theodore James Blum

I am very disappointed with Dr. Blum. He has been our family doctor for nearly 20 years and recently, my father developed cancer in his lungs and his leg. Throughout the frequent visits my father made with Dr. Blum, he claimed that my father’s frequent coughing and pain in his leg was just “allergies” and IT band syndrome. He did not tell us to get someone else to check things out until months later. If we didn’t get a second opinion, I’m not sure what would’ve happened. I am very disappointed with Dr. Blum. Amazing Dr! Extreamly knowledgeable, patient, and Really takes his time with each and every patient he sees. He shows empathy to unwell patients, and checks in often. If there is something that you don't completely understand, he will take as much time as is needed to explain whatever it is to you. His staff is Amazing as well! Everyonr is Super friendly, and knows you by name. Messages get sent immediately, and nothing is ever brushed to the side.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Amazing Dr! Dr. Blum has been my primary for 25 years. He is a provider who listens, encourages and offers empathy, not just sympathy. When faced with making difficult health decisions, he thoughtfully guided me and educated me. When I came down with COVID-19, he called weekly to check-iin on me and to make sure I had what I needed to recover and to heal. I am grateful to have him in my life. Awesome doctor, friendly, smart and overall great

Went in for a insurance physical which is completely covered by my insurance. During the physical I was asked if anything was wrong or anything bothered me. Thinking is is a routine part of the physical I mentioned an ankle pain. He examined it. For 2 minutes no xray and I end up with a 130 dollar bill. The secretary tried to blame my insurance but at no point was it made clear that this would now turn into an office visit and be charged accordingly. I would of never gone to the doctor for my ankle outside of this. I feel like i was scammed to get more money out of it. Beware when you go to them. They will not mention this. Excellent Doctor- knowledgeable, Personable. Great staff, too

Great Dr, and his staff is top notch. Well respected in the Town of Bethel.

The best doctor! My family has been using him for many years. He's very knowledgeable. I have a lot of medical anxiety, but he is very calming and comforting and explains everything very clearly which helps a ton.
