He did one eye, will not return to this practice and definitely will not allow him to do the second procedure.

Sometimes there is a wait, but where I was treated before there was a WAIT! I am so glad someone recommended Dr Chi. Not as stressful. Takes good care of problems and I've got them!

Dr. CHI is the best!! I'm not rating directly after surgery....I'm rating weeks later out of fairness on final results. I was well informed, surgery was awesome and after reading Dr. CHI reviews, I will agree that he is sincerely the best.

I have been with Dr Chi for several years. I have severe Glacoma. What impressed me the Most is his compassionate care and concern. Despite my diagnosis, he never gives up on me. I can cry with him or share my love of sports and Chicago. He’s professional but empathetic. His entire staff is patient and kind. Some people ask why I travel such a long distance just to see him. My mother has been going to Dr. Chi for quite some time. She likes him as a physician and he has managed her condition well. However, he is constantly running behind - we have have waited 3 hours to be seen and the average wait time is at least 2 hours. If this was a one-off, you certainly can understand that emergencies happen, but this is a constant at this office. He is well aware of this issue because the first thing he says is “sorry for your wait”. In light of the COVID situation, you think you would not want people sitting in waiting rooms for a long period of time (especially older people), but we waited for over 2 hours for a pressure check. Because this seems to be a constant issue, it really seems to show a disrespect for patients. We are looking for a new physician for my mother.

Dr. Thomas Chi performed Femtosecond Laser surgery on my left eye in Sept. 2018. The entire process was an amazing experience with excellent results for me. The actual surgery took place at the Medina Surgical Center - with pre & postop work at his Medina office. The surgical staff have this process down to a fine science. I had a cataract on my right eye. I was scared to death of the surgery since it would be my first one. It took 10 minutes the procedure with a wait time of 2 hours. Dr. Chi completes multiple patient surgery's on the same day this helps keep cost down.
