Dr. Odmark did surgery on my ankle on 12/29. He was very caring when he came in before surgery and answered all my questions. Today, he took time out of his day to call and check on how I am doing. VERY impressed with him and his caring. Compassionate office.

I hate seeing these reviews for Dr. Odmark. There is not another doctor around who could help me where I could walk on my ankle. Dr. Odmark performed surgery about five years ago now and my ankle is amazing I would never know I had a problem. I was told if I had surgery my ankle would be worse, I am playing pickle ball, racquetball, and all sports, never feel pain whatsoever he’s the best doctor ever. Thank you thank you for healing me.

Several years ago Dr. Odmark had to put a plate and 11 pins in my left ankle. He had a great personality was very caring and just 100% all around great experience for me

Dr Odmark performed surgery on my foot which resulted in permanent nerve damage and an inability to walk properly. I can no longer work, travel or enjoy the activities I once did.

My toe has been infected and sore for months. Dr. Odmark did a X-ray and found arthritis and an infection. He was incredibly kind and yet efficient. His staff was also kind and helpful. We saw him in both the Largo office and Trinity. This last week he put a cast on the broken leg of my 6 year old granddaughter. She was so calmed by him through the whole process.

Dr Odmark took his time examining my foot/ankle. Very professional, gave me more answers than any other Dr I have seen over the last two months. His staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I visited the doctor after I was told by several podiatrists I needed surgery due to the severity of my injuries. He decided not to operate and left my foot to heal on its own which left it totally malformed. I told him of additional problems, then he ordered an MRI. When he did my surgery, he severed my sural nerve so I don't have any feeling across my foot. I also told him my Achilles tendon wasn't work. He denied that and after seeing 6 more doctors, I was told it would never work again. I needed another surgery and now I cannot walk barefoot, wear normal shoes and walk for any length of time. I've lost the ability to do many of the activities people take for granted...like walking!

I saw Dr. Odmark for torn ligaments in my ankle and he fitted me with a boot and held off on surgery which was the correct way to proceed, although he did tell me it could take over a year to heal on its own. He was correct, ankle is still a little bit sore, but healing. Has taken as long as he predicted, but I avoided surgery which was my hope.

Worst mistake ok my life. Conspiracy of drs for 20 or 30k

My work comp referred me to Dr. Odmark for my foot injury. Waiting time tended to be long. After seeing him 3 - 4 times, he finished my case even though my foot was not fixed. I went to a podiatrist (not through my work comp) several months after Dr. Odmark finished my case. My podiatrist found the issue immediately by looking at X-ray and MRI at the first meeting. Dr. Odmark had X-ray and MRI but didn't find the issue (or at least didn't tell me about it) and didn't make my foot better. I didn't pay anything because of the work comp but wasted lots of my time being a patient of Dr. Odmark.

For a chronic calf strain that I suffered for more than 10 years and saw at least five other orthopedic physicians who ordered extensive testing Dr. Odmark diagnosed me with just a very tight tendon that was contracting my calf muscle. He prescribed regular stretching rather than looking for opportunity to perform surgery, the other doctors seem to do. After all these years I am now left with no calf issues. I am very satisfied with Dr. Odmark

i had an accident and he has to perform a surgery on my foot, he did great my recovery has been fantastic people and primary Dr are surprise how can i walk today. plus all the staff is nice. I strongly recommend him to everybody

Dr. Odmark did a wonderful job on my ankle replacement surgery. I had little pain and hardly any swelling afterward and it is healing well. My only complaint is that just 4 months after the surgery he left the practice where I was seeing him and is no longer on my insurance plan. I was given no real recommendation of who could follow up this complicated procedure. The surgery was perfect. Customer service not so perfect.

Husband had a ruptured Achilles Tendon playing football. Dr spent extra time answering questions during pre surgery appt, spoke with us immediately after the surgery as well as the post appt. Very Professional and did a wonderful job repairing the damage. Highly recommend Dr Odmark!

Had surgery in September, still having pain. Saw Dr. Odmark once before surgery and once after. Had many other appt but always saw the PA. Made another appt and scheduled to see PA again.

I trust his opinion and procedures

I had a Lis Franc injury that required surgery. Dr. ODmark was the best. He placed plates, pins and some screws in my foot and said it would take a while to heal. HE has been correct about everything. HE told me I had a traumatic foot injury and it was not going to heal rapidly so just don't push myself. HE was always kind and professional.

Having been to 4 prior foot/ankle specialists, I had my reservations. He had been referred by my own primary doctor as well as a couple of friends. In reading his reviews, I almost cancelled my appointment because he was accused of not spending enough time with his patients. This man was impressive from the moment he walked into the exam room. He was not only knowledgeable, but kind and very patient in listening to and answering my plethora of questions. He is now my "go to" foot/ankle doctor.

I will NEVER let Dr. Odmark touch my feet again. We discussed a bunion removal but I cautioned him that my podiatrist wouldn't do it because my big toe would collapse and my feet would have problems forever. Dr. Odmark said he could use cadaver bone or heel grafts. I agreed. He didn't do it. Now my toe is an inch shorter, folded over the next toe that he also broke, and I can only use the last 3 toes on my foot. He totally ruined my foot that needs to be reconstructed by someone else. HORRIBLE.

This place is a joke. I called to arrange an appointment with Dr Odmark. I was out of town visiting a friend in Chicago and broke my leg, after having surgery and cleared to return to Florida I was told I needed to see a orthopedic surgeon once I was back home to ensure my recovery was going ok and to arrange physio. The front desk stated that he wouldn't see me and I would have to fly back to Chicago for the follow up. My insurance company already approved the follow up but as he didn't do the surgery he wouldn't treat me. Not sure why he would want to put patients lives at risk but I guess when you make lots of money you can cherry pick who you see. This place is a joke. Dr. Odmark appears to know what he is talking about but doesn't seem to care much about exploring his patients' illnesses or giving them much respect; it seemed he wanted to give a quick diagnosis and get out of the room ASAP. The worst part of the visit was when he cracked jokes about me with his colleagues right after the diagnosis while I wasn't but 30 feet away which made me feel very uncomfortable.

Would not go to any other doctor. Percriped meds for my neuropathy and arthritis. I felt better within days. Almost full movement in right ankle in days.

Couldn't wait t to get out of the exam room. I practically had to follow him through the doorway. Very rushed for first and follow up appointments.

long wait (30 plus mins), then after 1-2 min of talking to the doctor, a nurse came in to talk to him and have him sign something. UNACCEPTABLE! As I was quietly waiting afterwards at nurses station for the doctor to write me a script, shorter female in white lab coat, collating papers asked me what I was doing, then told me I had to go and wait by the checkout are--VERY RUDE! Overall, a disappointing experience and I would NOT recommend.

Dr. Odmark is the absolute best surgeon/doctor! He cares so much and his staff is great. Dr. Odmark really CARES!

He is a great surgeon, maticulous, and a perfectionist it seems. Wanting to do the right thing for the patient. I have total confidence in his abilities. His staff are outgoing and know what they are doing, they seem to consider the patients health and well being. I had an ankle replacement that had some complications, not to anyone's fault. I am very glad to be under his and his staff's care.
