Thomas F O'Neill

I’ve been seeing Thomas for over 8 years and Thomas has help me navigate a a very difficult period of my life… disability, divorce and the challenges of life that you just don’t know what to do. He’s been a comforting guide as well as a mentor of sort. Encouraging you to be kinder to yourself as well as as pushing you to grow. And, I have. I didn’t realize the strength within me without Thomas’s support. I am grateful for his service to mental wellbeing.

Thomas is an awesome therapist. He was able to walk me through serious issues I was going through. He listens and really cares. He has years of experience and helped direct me to a number of community resources. Highly recommend if you need a therapist!

Thomas didn't really help me, at all. On the contrary, he served to exacerbate my problems of constantly feeling misunderstood and unheard. During sessions, he would almost always ask about my sister, pretend that every word I said about her was actually about myself, then proceeded to console me and give me advice as if my sister's problems were my own. He didn't let me talk about any of the problems I had, just about the problems I said my sister had. It was infuriating. When I eventually contradicted him, he accused me of lying in order to stymie any progress he think he had made on me up until that point. As a result of seeing Thomas, I feel even more unheard and misunderstood. I do not recommend this therapist.
