My family doctor told me that I had scoliosis. He said it was so bad that even a brace wouldn’t help and I would eventually need surgery. And I did not like that option. So my mom asked her chiropractor, Dr. Polucki to take a look . Dr. Palicki reviewed. My x-rays didn’t exam showed me my posture and was able to reduce a lot of the tension in my back with the first treatment. I know that it will take some treatment and that the clock is ticking because within a year or two my skeleton will be solid and it doesn’t get much better after that. But I’m relieved that I don’t need a brace and I don’t think I’m ever gonna get that surgery.

For over two years I struggled with horrible TMJ that would give me migraines interfere with my sleep give me brain fog and just make my whole body feel miserable. I started with my general practitioner and he referred me to a few specialists including a neurologist I got advanced imaging and my brain to try to figure out why I was getting migraines and pressure headaches. Had my niece scoped three years ago because I'm a soccer player and coach and it was given out on me, all the time. The surgery stopped the locking pain in my knee. I'm in management so I type all day, my arm started going numb about two years ago. My primary gave me braces and sent me to PT. But that didn't help! I found Dr Polucki online. 15 years ago I was told that I needed knee replacement. I told Dr. Polucki and he gave me some exercises that I have done every day since then. Now at 80 I am working nearly full-time loving life and I haven’t needed a knee replacement yet.

I was laying down and serving my clients literally from bed for at least a couple of weeks. The pain was excruciating but has a small business owner you don’t really have any choice. I like that Dr. Polucki doesn’t crack my back or my neck and I generally walk out of there feeling pretty good.

At 62 even under incredible stress I feel better in so many ways than I did 20 years ago. Back then nobody was really talking about functional medicine except Dr. Polucki. I found him when I was looking for an upper cervical chiropractor and I found out that he was actually one of 12 certified instructors in the world. And he was right in my hometown. Prior to that I was driving an hour one way to see someone doing a fraction of what he does for his patients. So 20 years later with Dr. Polucki as my primary physician my hormones are in better shape my bones are not breaking anymore and I am able to handle an insane amount of stress on a daily basis without getting sick.

For years Dr. Polucki kept a tumor in my brain from growing according to my Neuroradiologist. A week of muscle relaxers and sleeping on a heating pad couldn't touch the pain in my neck. So I did a Google search for chiropractors that have good success with treating neck pain. I've been going to Dr. Polucki for over 5 years now. I have Meniere's Disease and with the vertigo attacks life was very bleak for me. After a few months of treatments, the vertigo subsided substantially. Today, I have been vertigo for about 4 years. He treats his patients with respect and kindness. I call him a "healer" as he has this gift of feeling my neck or upper back and finding the exact spot that hurts without me saying a word.

I just got a letter from my insurance company. Since high school which is over seven years ago now I struggled with low energy to the point where it was mentally draining and I actually considered it depression. Even with years of therapy I could not find an answer to my constant struggle with energy. It gets so frustrating when you can’t remember things. I just remember how disturbing it was when my dad would get lost going from one town to the next town. Last December I was told that I needed back surgery and scheduled for early April. I never wanted surgery but after 5 months of back pain and my foot going numb they convinced me.
