Terrible. PA’s were rude and as unhelpful as a hand puppet. Runyan was extremely disrespectful. Told me I was most suicidal person he’d ever met. I have a psychiatrist (for the past 23 years) and he reassured me that I was not suicidal, just clinically depressed. Runyan gave me 3 injections and first one worked but the other two did not. I have been a patient of Dr. Runyun for several years now and have always been impressed with his care and professional manner. He did a pain block on the nerves from my tail bone which lasted two years. I am probably one of his patients with the worst of spines having already 6 surgeries behind me and needing more. Imagine my horror today going to the Vidalia office and he is no longer there. I am in dire need of pain blocks. Sir where are you?

I was first seen in July by a Nurse Practitioner when I was suppose to be seeing the Dr himself, I wanted in the waiting area for an hour, got into the room and did all the exam stuff. Now mind you they send you a form to fill out where you have to circle inside a circle for your answer. I have been dealing with back pain for 4 years now, I had my 1st surgery in Atlanta, Ga. When we moved I found a surgeon and since I didn't have health insurance I paid for everything up front, my surgeon is great, well he told me to find a pain management dr as he is a surgeon and can't manage my medicine intake. Well that is when I called this office, they got all my files and said I would hear back in he wanted to take on my case. Well, I got the call that they wanted to get me in to see him. First visit paid $395 and got no relief, but instead left in more pain as i had to have the exam. Finally got into see the dr and he tells me that I circled the spot that I use hydro to get high on. Only thing wrong there was no hydro was found in my system hhhhmmmm. And anyone can circle the wrong spot cause it's like taking a test. So he leaves to go and look at my MRI says he can't help me that my needs are surgical. Okay, we knew that already my surgeon wanted me to get help with pain until I had my surgery. He gives me a script to last a month and sends me on my way. And now I can't get in to be seen by my surgeon as he can't help me with pain, and now a dr who read my files and decided to take my case, has turned me away and can't help me. I wish that these dr would be more passionate about what their patients deal with on a daily bases, my MRI don't lie, but junkies can walk in there and walk out to sell there meds. And a true person in need can't seem to get any help. Something is seriously wrong with our health care systems. After 2 referrals and all documents provided that they requested, I have been contacting them for 1.5 month and still haven't got an appointment! Rude staff, non responsive and no reason given why I have yet to get an appointment!
