Very unresponsive! Scheduled a physical and went to get the required lab tests. Though the office was told me they’d sent the lab order, there was no order. Contacted the office, the staff said they’d fax an order immediately. When I went back to the the Lab, again, no order. I’ve still haven’t been able to get the lab tests. The doctor has two large dogs that accompanied him into treatment room on my first visit. I like dogs, but really? in a doctors office? I had a tick bite that hadn’t healed in two months, he had an assistant look at me. After protracted waiting, the doctor told the assistant that he didn’t need to see me. Not what I’d call value for money. Looking for a real Doctor!

I highly recommend Dr.Hooper, having been a patient for 2 years. Everyone at the office is kind and friendly. The doctor is relaxed, jovial, and puts the patient at ease. He also is blunt, but in a respectful way. I normally prefer female practitioners, but he is a good doctor, easy to access, and has gone above/beyond when I've needed. I’ve been going to Dr Hooper for over a year now. I like his truthful bluntness. He truly listens and respects what you have to say but when it comes down to it, he doesn’t sugar coat anything! I feel some of the negative reviews were unfair. Dr Hooper is a professional no B.S. Doctor. Terri M

Please don’t go there. He dropped my husband because my husband went to get an alternative medicine for another problem. My husband is a senior and the e-mail from this doctor was very rude. My husband is a senior citizen and seriously the letter was very unprofessional.

there staff is fantastic and he is the best

He and The Lakes rehab. In COPPEROPOLIS nearly killed my beloved daughter. She has severe depression and anxiety. He prescribed all the wrong meds that increase anxiety. She had terrible panic attacks. He's a quack. So is Bernadette at that fake rehab.

I no longer wish to be your patient or should I say your guinea pig. I counted 24 medications that you have put me on and I have been so sick in the hospital 3 times this week I no longer want anything to do with you nor you to have anything to do with me. The way the office treats me calling me a liar telling me I'm a f****** alcoholic you guys got some nerve as you can tell I've had it with you I will report you to the medical bar and I will report you to Yelp and every other Avenue I can take if anybody has a drinking problem mr. I've been going to Dr. Hooper for a few years now and I haven't had any issues or problems with him or his staff. As busy as he is, he still takes the time to listen to you and address your concerns! It's a great office with a great staff!

I am 61 years old, I have seen many doctors over the years. I have been seeing Dr. Hooper for the past 7 years. He is a good common-sense doctor with a great sense of humor, but can be rather blunt at times. I understand there are people that don't like hearing the truth. If you are one of those people you probably won't like him. He cuts through all the bull. He doesn't care about being politically correct, but what he does care about is taking care of his patients in in a way that is beneficial to them. If you want a doctor that knows medicine, has a great bedside manner and calls it like he sees it, though you might not want to hear it, he is the doctor for you. He has successful treated me for chronic pain, diabetes and COPD. If you're looking for a doctor that knows medicine, and will be honest with you, this is the doctor you want to see. I have seen a couple of reviews on him that were unfair to say the least, but these reviews come from people that are looking for the stereotypical white coat Dr. that will tell them exactly what they want to hear regardless of the truth. If your looking for a great common sense doctor that will tell it like it is....go see him! He will listen to you, consider your opinion, and treat you according to your medical needs. I started seeing Dr. Hooper back in 2010 during a difficult time in my life. From the first visit, I knew he was different than any other doctors I'd seen before. He took the time to listen to my concerns and treated me like a human, not just another number. He is a no nonsense man, and this is what I've always appreciated about him. He can see through the BS and will call you on it. If you are up front and honest with him, he is always willing to work with you. I continue to see Dr Hooper today, even though my insurance doesn't cover seeing him because I like him so much. His willingness to help you is above and beyond. Just this past weekend, I emailed him because I thought I had an UTI. He responded very quickly and instead of having to sit in prompt care for hours, he was able to call me in an antibiotic. This was not an unusual response, he always tells me to contact him if I'm sick and it's after hours instead of having to go to ER. My met Dr. Hooper 6 years ago after a foot surgery in another town that was a disaster. I was given Dr. Hooper’s name by one of his patients. Dr. Hooper found an orthopedic surgeon that has been amazing. Dr. Hooper has never given up on me and I am so grateful. Both my husband and myself will only use Dr. Hooper for our primary doctor. He Is always available when we need him. He has a way of making laugh even on the days that I feel the worst. We are lucky to have such a great doctor here in Sonora! Having been a patient for about six years, I would recommend Dr. Timothy Hooper to all in my small community. He is a unique Doctor who really takes a lot of time with his patients (from what I have seen), something that is not often seen from most Doctors in today's times. Dr. Hooper is extremely caring and has no problem to spend all the time needed to take care of your needs. Along with a great staff, visiting his practice in Sonora is a no-brainer!

He gave me ezetimibe to lower my colesteral and it worked great now I'm not a walking time bomb,mine was over 444 now down to where it should be great stuff ,so far no side affects great doctor for orther things besides pain ,also has a very friendly dog that brings your stress level down just by petting it , keep up the good work

Dr. Hooper has cared 10 years for my son who has a progressive condition who requires a lot of time and effort. Dr. Hooper never doesn't have the time. He is professional, compassionate, and knowledgable, and a patient advocate. He connects with him in a personal way that builds confidence in everyone. He listens and takes time. He sees us through whatever profound challenge we are facing and we are so grateful. His staff is an absolute delight and always "walk the extra mile"!!
