I called to make an appointment as a new patient and the receptionist hung up on me. Be warned - you cannot make an appointment until you drive to Preston to pick up and fill out a new patient packet. I asked if she could email it and I could send it back the same day, could I make an appointment? She got really nasty quickly and hung up on me. I called back to speak to the Office Manager, and she was equally rude. She told me I hung up on her - umm, no. I'm trying to make an appointment; why would I hang up? It doesn't cost anything to clear up a miscommunication and TO BE NICE. All I wanted to do was set up an appointment - I was hung up on mid-sentence. Office manager clearly needs a new profession, because people skills are not her thing. If the staff is that rude, the rest of the practice surely follows that culture.
