Dr. Timothy B Welch

An essentially painless extraction of an upper molar on March 15, 2023. Friendly and courteous service. All is proceeding well thus far. Definitely would recommend Dr. Welch to family, friends and anyone else needing oral surgery.

Dr. Welch is a skillful & compassionate surgeon with a wonderful efficient & friendly staff. Recently I had a tooth extraction with an implant placed at the same time. After 24 hours I was hardly aware that a procedure had taken place in my mouth. This was my third implant with Dr. Welch over several decades. Each one with excellent results. I feel fortunate that he is my surgeon.

Every person I have seen at the office of Dr. Welch was personable and professional. Dr. Welch, himself is friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent doctor. I would not hesitate to see him again (although I hope I won't need to!)

I cracked my tooth and it was beyond a crown repair, my dentist referred me to Dr. Welch. I scheduled was scheduled for a consult within a week. The office staff was pleasant. I met with Dr. Welch, he reviewed images taken in the office and gave me options for treatment, including success rates, costs and longevity. I was quickly scheduled for the procedure and given instructions, including prescriptions. The procedure was quick and painless. I was nervous but Dr. Welch made me feel at ease prior to beginning the procedure. I slept most of the day but had no pain at all. Dr. Welch personally phoned me in the evening to see how I was feeling which was amazing. I took two days off work as recommended but really one would have been fine. My only recommendation would be during consult a description of what the steps are and pictures could be shared. I googled it so I would know what would happen and how I would need to go. Ask to my dentist months later for a crown placement.

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and have no complaints. Dr. welch nailed the surgery and even the expected complications (such as prolonged numbness) were a non-issue and I'm feeling great 6 hours after surgery.

Excellent up front work by staff to make sure all pre-procedure activities (Covid test, obtaining meds, starting meds, etc.) were followed. Day of the procedure all staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Always feel comfortable with Dr. Welch and know the actual procedure will be pain free. Dr. Welsh and the entire staff are extremely professional, caring, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. From the initial consult, to the procedures to the aftercare, amazing attention to detail. Can a visit with an oral surgeon be good? This experience, from start to finish, has been great! I had oral surgery for an implant four months ago with Dr Welch. This was my last appointment to have the implant checked before returning to my dentist for the new “tooth”. I received the same friendly, courteous, knowledgeable care by the entire staff as I did the first day I walked into the office. Dr Welch is extremely knowledgeable and competent with a warm, friendly, yet professional manner that put me completely at ease.

Dr. Welch was personable, listening to my concerns and caring about me as his patient. He performed my bone graft very successfully and even did follow up calls to make sure I was doing well. His staff was very friendly and efficient in doing their jobs and making me comfortable.

When I entered the office, I was greeted warmly by the office staff. After a short wait, I was escorted back to the surgery room where I was prepped for surgery. Dr. Welch and his staff were very friendly and professional. The evenings following my surgeries, Dr. Welch personally called me to ensure I was ok and asked if I had any questions. I also received follow-up calls from his staff and was told if I had any questions or concerns to please call their office. I would recommend anyone considering implant treatment to call Dr. Welch. Great place to go. I took my daughter here in December 2020 to get wisdom teeth out and was pleased so I came back to get a dental implant this month. The whole procedure was explained well and all my questions were answered. Cost was given upfront. Would go back here again. Great experience!

Exceptional in all categories, knowledge, skill, manner, state of the art equipment and technique, knowledgeable assistant, high standard of clinic cleanliness. What one hopes for in a medical provider. He respected my questions and concerns, came up with a plan. Clearly an MD and not just a technician . Very competent and caring. Surprised by the high tech monitoring during oral procedure, which combined with heated blankets and hand warmers ensured safety and comfort. No complaints except I wish I could have avoided the necessity (including expense) of the procedure.

Very quick procedure! I was very nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed and every single person I spoke with from the time I entered until the time I left made sure I was comfortable. They had no problems explaining the procedure to me to help calm me down. I 100% recommend these lovely people!

This is my second visit to Dr. Welch. My first visit was extremely positive, so it was a "no brainer" to come back for his services. The staff are wonderful and Dr. Sweeney makes you feel comfortable at all times. He is excellent at “painless” anesthesia and there is no discomfort in all the procedures. He is also excellent at telling you all the steps of what will happen so you are always aware of what will happen. I would strongly recommend him and his staff to everyone!

I went in for a consultation and was provided with all the information that I needed to make an informed decision. All my questions were answered and I felt good about my decision to not do the procedure which the doctor agreed was the best course of action for my situation. They treated me well and if the need arises, I'd feel comfortable going back to them.

Dr. Welch’s team is friendly and attentive. They work like a well oiled machine, they have practiced systems in place. Dr Welch is professional, while connecting in a personal and caring way. He even gives you a personal check-in call after surgery. Both of my children have had procedures with Dr. Welch and I highly recommend this group! They directed me to their website to fill out their forms or they would download for me. They were friendly & understanding. At the consultation I met Dr. Tim Welch & his assistants . I was impressed by his professionalism, expertise, thoroughness & way of making me feel at ease. He has a great personality. He cares about his patients. His assistants were friendly, caring & outstanding at their jobs. On the day of surgery Dr. Welch made me feel at ease & completed my surgery perfectly. The recovery room staff were friendly, understanding & knowledgeable. It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend him & his assistants & office staff.

Dr Welch and his whole staff, starting with Raena and Amanda, were so warm, welcoming and friendly. They all made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend this facility.

My wife was referred to Dr. Welsh due to problems that our family dentist identified. X-rays were taken but Dr. Welsh never examined my wife's mouth. She was told to brush better. She has always taken excellent care of her teeth, but a prescribed medication has caused issues. She received a second referral to a different dental surgeon. That second person quickly identified the problem and fixed it. To cap it all off we were sent a bill for $204.50 from Dr. Welsh's office. Very disappointed and will never return to his office.

This is a very competent and high functioning team. Not often found today. They do not rely on cookie cutter solutions but do their homework on your whole medical history to craft an individual treatment that fits you. This was perfect for me with a history this last 20 years of some spectacular reactions to Rx meds especially anesthesia. The result was a 20 min process orchestrated for minimum side effects and very fast recovery. I did skip the list of sugary cold foods and opted for keto friendly, diabetic choices like guacomole, creamy scrambled eggs at room temp, cream of mushroom soup pureed with stick blender and veggie smoothies. I had cracked a molar down the center through the root and nerve on a Saturday and saw my dentist on Monday who referred me to dr Kevin Sweeney. There office was able to squeeze me in the next day to assess the tooth. Then with there busy schedule they were able to do surgery that next Monday (had to wait to get COVID test) dr Kevin Sweeney and the staff are amazing with there quick and professional help! I love everyone in this office! They each truely listened to any issue I had and did their very best to help me. We have gone through ruff times financially and I never felt judged by letting them know it took me time to save up and they didn't judge. Dr. Welch himself made a follow up call to me that night after my surgery. All of these are concerns that I have faced in the past with other offices. I truely feel like I matter to them! Impressively coordinated office. Very kind and efficient staff. Am nervous about having implant surgery, but after first appt with Dr. Welch and his staff, I know I am in very good hands. Hope the whole process goes as smoothly as this first appointment did!

Reception staff was superb. They are welcoming, helpful, and eduated me on sfter care. The technicians were caring, empathetic, and assisted me to the door of my car. Doctor was thorough and highly professional. I have come to expect this experience as this was a 3rd visit, and it was awesome as usual.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted this morning (one emerged, one partially emerged, and two totally impacted). During the consultation he answered all of my questions, and just a few minutes ago he called me to see if I had eaten, if the bleeding was easing up, and if I had any questions. As a person with debilitating anxiety including a pretty severe phobia of the dentist, I'd been putting this surgery off for about three years. Dr. Welch did an amazing job making me feel better, informing me about the pros and cons of the surgery and how to take care of myself post-op. This was the best possible experience for something that was so unbelievably terrifying to me. Dr. Welch and his entire team were so professional and nice! I was very nervous so they prescribed me a sedative to take this morning before I came and instead of counting down after giving me the IV sedative, Dr. Welch just asked me questions about my hobbies and interests until I passed out essentially. I am in the older range to get my wisdom teeth out (21) so the roots of all of my teeth were totally formed. Dr. Welch told me that he could do a coronectomy on my lower right impacted tooth and probably have to come back a month later to get the roots of the teeth removed but he waived the fee for another more intensive form of x-ray to decide between that and risking nerve damage in my jaw. I appreciated that he gave me the choice instead of just telling me the one side because it established so much trust. Besides, every single person in the office that I had the pleasure of talking to, even if it was just for a few seconds was unbelievably nice. If you have to get any sort of oral surgery, especially extractions, and *especially* if you have dentist anxiety, I 100% recommend Dr. Welch and his team. Dr Welch explained the process easily so both me and my 16 yr old son understood from start to finish. My son felt comfort even though we were discussing the removal of 4 wisdom teeth. The facility and staff were very professional and I would recommend them.

Dr. Sweeney's office was very friendly and professional. I was pretty nervous going in but they wrapped me in warm blankets and encouraged me that it was going to be fine and it was. They even called me a couple days later to see how I was doing and even answered a phone call on the weekend. I would recommend them.

So organized and professional. Everyone if friendly and positive and they do great work. Follow up is appreciated, it is a very comfortable environment. Dr Welch is so nice and talks in terms easy to understand. I love that he makes a follow up call to check in on his surgery patients at end of the day.
