5 stars for the doctor 0 stars for the staff Doctor is great, brilliant, engaging, not in a hurry....but, staff is worst ever. If you can get them to put down their cell phones, and actually respond to a patient, it'll be amazing. It is the worst run medical office I've ever encountered. I was prescribed a medication for trigeminal neuralgia... having troubles with it, and have been calling for 2 days, with no reply. I'm headed to the emergency room, because nobody at this practice answers the phone, or returns calls.

I have nothing but only Praise, Respect, Gratitude, and Higest remarks possible for Dr.Newkirk. He is a brilliant Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Specialist. I have seen many doctors and specialist before him, and can only tell you that he is a jewel that is hard to find.He is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and has great bedside manners. He takes time with each patient and their families. Not only he treats patients, he also educates them. He gave me my life back with his TOS vest when I could only sit and stand for 20-30mins at a time without it. He has been my doctor for the past 9 years. Absolutely Brilliant Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Specialist!!!!

An excellent, knowledgeable, and very caring physician!

I've been going to Dr. Newkirk for my migraines and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome for 10 years. He is very up to date and I always leave there with a new plan and hope! He keeps up with the very latest treatments. He works well with other doctors and is great in dealing with insurance and disability paperwork. Most of all he Understands and Believes Me. If you've ever had chronic migraines that don't respond to triptans you understand just how important that is. I also have had really usual responses to certain medications so that is important too. Lots of doctors have just one approach to each condition. Dr. Newkirk understands that every person/situation is unique and treats you with the utmost respect.

Dr, Newkirk is a fabulous doctor, it is hard to find a physician of his caliber these days. Dr, Newkirk put me back together, for that I am forever thankful and as a medical professional, I would recommend him a 100 times over.

Great doctor! Only thing is because he spends the time with his patients, he may be late for your appointment. But, the good thing is he will spend the amount of time you need as well.

Trust Dr. Newkirk immensely. He takes time, LISTENS, explains and treats accordingly. If he needs to refer you out, he will without hesitation. I drive from Idaho to see Dr. Newkirk and would not consider another neurologist. I don't mind waiting in office, because I know when it's my turn to see him, he will take the appropriate time with me. When it comes to anything clerical or getting an RX refill, forget it. Office staff is terrible! Fortunately, you can email Dr. directly and get results!
