Office was disorganized and am unhappy with my visit and diagnosis. No one ever returns your calls and in general it is hard to get a hold of doctors or office staff at the Henry Ford Health system. From initial visit to 6 month follow-up visit, Dr. Banka and his staff were caring and professional. My knee replacement was something I had delayed and dreaded for years. When I finally decided to go ahead with it, I was surprised at how smoothly it went (even during Covid) and how quickly I recovered. I was back to walking normally, painlessly in just a few weeks. The surgery was not pain free, but much less painful than anticipated. I will definitely use Dr, Banka when it's time to replace my other knee!

Dr. Banka performed a hip replacement surgery. He was warm, personable and took the time to answer all of my questions. The replacement was done perfectly, and I was back to normal after about three months. I had almost no pain at all after the surgery. I may need to have my other hip done in the future, and I will definitely go to Dr. Banka. I am very grateful to him!

Dr. Banka is the most sincere kind specialist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. I have seen a number of orthopaedic specialist at Henry Ford and other local health systems which did not meet my expectations. I was blown away by the compassion, knowledge, and understanding of Dr. Banka. I have told everyone how impressed I am with him. He answered all my questions and explained in detail what arthritis is and how it is not my fault that I am in pain. I underwent a robotic total knee replacement and my pain is gone. Dr. Banka replaced both of my hips. The outcome is amazing!! I never thought I would be this pain-free again. He the chance to live my life in the way that I was used to. I had been seeing another doctor for about a year or more before I went to Dr. Banka, and he was treating me for a totally different condition. All I can say in conclusion, is thank God I found Dr. Banka. One more thing, to mention his staff and surgical support..they are amazing!

Before my hip replacement I was in so much pain I could barely get in and out of the car. Even using the cane was not helping the pain. After I woke up from surgery, I was so surprised that I was in no pain at all. After I was fully awake, I went to the rest room twice and I was walking so fast the nurse told my husband she had to ask me to slow down. My pain level has never gotten over 2 unless I over did my walking outside. It is six months later I am in no pain at all. I don’t even have a limp. Dr. Banka gave me quality of life back. I can walk and dance again! Thank you so much!

68 year old ,Male. Never wanted to let them replace my knee the old way but heard about ROSA and decided, after consulting with my Orthopedic doctor, that the time had come. She referred me to Dr. Trevor Banka. From being greeted at the front door to being wheeled out to my car after surgery, I was treated with kindness and concern. At every level of my experience I can only say positive things. Everyone answered all of my questions and described in detail everything that was going to happen. Today is 3 weeks from surgery and I am in PT at Henry Ford ,Chesterfield. They are equal in everything they do. I hoped for positive results, as anyone would, but have gotten much more than expected. On a scale from 1 to 10 the experience rates a 20. I have already referred 2 patients to Dr. Banka and will continue to recommend Henry Ford to many more.

I couldn’t be any happier with how everything has turned out, I had a right hip replacement, I was in excruciating pain before surgery, I have had absolutely no pain whatsoever since I woke up after my surgery. I was able to go home the same day, had a nurse and therapist come to my house, which started my recovery out great. I honestly feel now like nothing was ever wrong before, and my scar looks wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Banka, from bedside manner down to the surgery he was awesome!! Dr. Banka did my right hip replacement in February 2021, I was in excruciating pain before surgery, I have had absolutely no pain since I woke up after surgery. Terrible. He doesn’t listen, he doesn’t care, he lies, he doesn’t properly inform. He made me a lot worse. My consent form was altered after I signed it. I would never have known if I hadn’t asked for a copy. I had to find a new doctor to fix the damage he did. He doesn’t deserve a star.

Then after the exam wanted to send me to yet another doctor down state (I live 200 miles away). He agreed that I probably have bursitis in the hip (never offered to give me injection for that). Didn't seem to have concern but to push me out the door. Waste of time and money during the pandemic. Very disappointed. Dr Banka helped me get my life back. I was in a bad motorcycle wreck at a young age and ruined my hip. I couldn’t walk without excruciating pain. I was in a bad way and Dr Banka was able to make me walk again pain free. I owe this guy a lot and yet that’s his job. A thankless hero.

My mother had been to many other surgeons for severe rheumatoid arthritis in her knees which had left her completely bed bound and in constant excruciating pain. Dr. Banka was the only person to not only consider her as a surgical candidate, but to reassure her that he could truly help make a difference in her physical condition. He was able to perform knee replacement of both knees and the surgeries went flawlessly. I have been told I had bone on bone knee arthritis and needed a knee replacement. I was nervous and afraid to see a surgeon because I was scared. I found Dr. Banka on the internet and after reading about his story, I nervously made an appointment. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Banka. He was genuine, knowledgeable, caring and put my nerves at ease. He gave me all the treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical. We proceeded without surgery for some time. I eventually had a total knee replacement and Dr. Banka was right when he said after surgery I would say, I wish I had done this a long time ago. It was true, I wish I had a knee replacement a long time ago. Dr. Banka was never rushed and never pressured me. He was supportive and a partner in my treatment.

Dr. Banka and staff are really great!! They are friendly and never hesitate to get you an answer to your questions. Dr. Banka was recommended by an acquaintance and told me he was a great doctor. My surgery is scheduled and I am not worried about it because I believe he will do great!!!

Dr. Banka did a total knee replacement for me on 8-7-2020. My recovery, while not pleasant, was much easier than I ever anticipated. All of my physical therapists and friends who have had knee replacements done, have been amazed at my progress and mobility from post op day 1. I attribute my successful outcome primarily to Dr Banka. The innovative procedure he uses is not practiced by the orthopedic surgeons in my area. Being a nurse myself, I had some anxiety about potential complications that never developed. My surgical pain was well controlled, no infection occurred and my incision has healed beautifully. I found him to be attentive, concerned and proactive with all my questions and worries. His nurse and PA also displayed much of the same knowledge and caring attitude. Very pleasant to talk with. I highly recommend Dr Banka. Knee #2 will be visiting him soon.

Everything went well. Exceptional service through Henry Ford Hospital, and online visits and in person visits were easy and thorough. Great educational program prior to surgery so you are prepared and aftercare contact was convenient.

Well into the pre-op hour before surgery, I was asked about allergies and remembered my allergy to nickel which affected my ability to have a robotically inserted knee replacement as was planned. After our discussion of options, Dr. Banka was able to convert to conventional surgery with great success. He is a highly competent and caring surgeon and if I ever need the other knee replaced, I would definitely want him to be the surgeon. Seven months later, my knee is in great shape and still improving. At 71 years old, I am thrilled with the results. A big thanks to Dr. Banka and his team at Henry Ford.

I had a complete knee replacement at the W. Bloomfield facility in Feb 2020. The communication and care that we received from Dr. Banka and his team was exceptional. Not only did everyone take excellent care of me, they also made sure my wife was comfortable. I highly recommend him and his team and this facility!

I am 48 years old and needed a complete hip replacement. I saw serveral doctors prior to Dr Banka with no help. After two years of constant pain, I was referred to Dr Banka. I met with him and I couldn't believe how much information he gave me. After just that one appointment I knew I was treating with the "right" doctor, after being treated like a number in other offices and then being treated like I truly mattered, there was no doubt where I needed to be. I went into this surgery 100% confident in him and his staff. I recommend Dr Banka to everyone I talk to that is having hip issues. I had knee surgery in February of this year and I am very pleased. From Pre to Post op, All followups and procedures were handled professionally and accurately. Very Satisfied.

I had total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Banka. I liked him very much. He noticed something important in my initial x-rays that no one else had noticed. I got in quickly to the initial appointment and had my surgery within 2 months. The outcome has been great. I am six weeks out and walking pretty well already. Still doing PT at this point. Very satisfied all around.

I had my 1st knee replacement in 2015 and just had my other knee on Jan. 30th. He is an outstanding physician with expertise and bedside manner. He makes you very comfortable asking questions. Dr. Banka has performed replacement surgery on both hips and my right knee. I have been very pleased with the results.

My operation and recovery have gone just as planned. Very happy with the care I received from Dr Banka and his team.

Dr. Banka is not thorough at all. Had I followed his advice, two other conditions I have would have progressed permanently. Dr. Banka only mentioned one finding on my x-ray and did not address the other abnormalities. In addition, the radiologist who read my x-rays left out findings as well. The radiologist even contradicted himself; stated my left side twice as having different conditions. He did not state the findings on my right side. I made phone calls to Dr. Banka's office, the patient advocate and the administrative departments of Henry Ford Hospital Sytem. Have received no responses from any of the three. Plain and simply, the doctor and other people there simply do not care. I can only surmise that if there is no money to be had they will not correct their errors and stick together.

Dr Banka performed my left knee surgery in 2017, and my right knee in July 2019, I have recommended him and will continue to do so, he is very personable and professional he makes you feel comfortable as you walk thru this process of surgery. He takes the time to answer any and all questions and will address any concerns that you may have and for me that was a huge thing since I have never had any major surgery. I very happy that I made the right selection some 4 years ago when I first started my search for a doctor.

I have had both knees totally replaced earlier this year within two months of one another . Dr. Banka's expertise and work was phenomenal. I have had great results with recovery and feel like a new person. I would recommend Dr. Banka to anyone with bad knees .

I recently had my left hip replaced by Dr. Banka. He is a great orthopedic surgeon. I trusted him whole heartedly. He knows what he is doing. He deserves more than 5 stars.
